Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner

Running zPool + windows 8.1

- It sometimes crashes my nVidia drivers when changing between algos. To combat this, I've pushed the autoswitch out to 2 hours.
-Sometimes it just crashes the mining software and then nothing is running for 2 hours.

Is there any way to have nemosminer auto restart when it crashes? I had this setup with awesome miner and it helped fix any issue.
Or should I just setup a smart plug (tp link h110) and have it restart my computer when electrical draw drops?

i use windows 10 id suggest updating if possible...

i have 9 different rigs running cards - 1060 3gb's, 1070's, 1070ti's,  1080ti's  i don't get any crashes... so no need to change anything...

im looking at adding watchdog soon

"Or should I just setup a smart plug (tp link h110) and have it restart my computer when electrical draw drops"  thats not a bad idea !

i have all my rigs setup up with a auto restart once every 24hours... to prevent any crashes as i find if i run it for 4-5day straight i will get some kind of crash eventually (properly windows) so i have all my rigs auto restart and start mining on startup

Regards
Nemo
How many cards do you run per rig on windows 10? I'd like to run 8

Gimmer-The Bitcoin Bot Thoughts
by

I first heard about gimmer when looking for a bot that could automate trading and I came across gimmer. It allows you to invest into crypto currencies and make some profit while doing it. Token sales start February first 2018 and im certainly going to be purchasing these tokens. I was able to participate in a demo version of how it worked and it worked very well as far a crypto currency bot is concerned. It certainly automates the process of trading definitely try it out!

This bot seems like it could really benefit me with regards to taking profits. I am pretty new to crypto and trading in general and to be honest some of what i read over in this post has me confused. Do you think this would still benefit when knowing im not too crypto/ trade savy?

I am using 64 GB VIrtual Memory and also I havnt gotten that error again, but my rig is freezing and am unable to access it by teamviewer and have to restart the rig. Do you have MSI after burner installed or teamviewer? maybe those are causing conflicting issues? Not sure why it would work for you but not for me with the same GPUS.

What would cause this error? Intensity too high? How can I reduce it?

I originally have been having issues with X7 and X8 GPUS and I tried using 6 GPUS and it seems it is working now; although, I ran into a slight issue where it froze for about 3 minutes or so and then started again. Is it possible to implemented a restart of the miner if no shares have been submitted in X amount of time?

Does anyone else experience Windows 10 freezing when using NEMOSMINER on zpool multi algo? Sometimes it takes few hours to freeze, sometimes 10-15 minutes.

Im using 8 1070s. Im not sure why. I get freezing and I also get CC miner has stopped working errors. Its frustrating because im trying everything and cant find a solution. Ive also tried putting GPUS on default with no overclock. Please help if you can!

Re: Selling My GPU Minings Rigs
by

Okay so whattomine says 6usd/day on average (we all know it's going to go under that pretty soon)

Looking for a 6 month ROI = 180 days

180 * 6 = 1080usd

If this offer is good for you (I can add 50usd for shipping) we can make a deal using escrow.

Cheers,
Q.

Not that desperate Wink

have you got a price tag on these ?

Seeing the ROI capabilities and the place you're on, don't expect to get ebay prices if you need to sell them, but do hit me up if you want to make a quick deal Smiley

Cheers,
Q.
Make an offer.

If you go into eth mining a few months ago you should have already made your etherium. I would not buy new rigs UNLESS you plan on not mining etherium and you go to a profit switcher of some sort those are profitable, but still its hard to make any gains with the ROI.
