You forgot the last type of people here are the ones that continually make money in crypto. Those that can see a money making opportunity when it presents it self. 

If this was a scam BTCA would be gone by now.  What we do have is BTCA updating us all the time on  IRC as well as previous posts on bitcointalk.  For those of you that don't do your own research it was clearly stated to us by BTCA what he was working on and for us to expect our coins sometime this weekend most likely.  Bitcointalk isnt the center of the world and I would go so far as to say it is on its way out when it comes to serious coins here in the soon to be future. Arch coin is creating a whole new platform for trading and making money in general and it doesn't include bitcointalk. If you were a  real investor you would be on IRC talking with the Devs as we have been.

So I say again, we don't care what you think, and please don't go by what I think.  Do your own research and make your investments based on the facts.

If you have been following what BA has been saying, wallet probably sometime this weekend and coins released shortly after.

if you look at the roadmap you will see the website is slated for today and peersend on the 29th. Its pretty early to throw in the towel.

I've been looking but I don't really see any reason for the price drop myself.  Just some pump group moving onto a different coin imo.  Coin seems solid still.

If you are changing the ico terms you have to offer a refund period or this coin is doa.

I don't think this delayed approach is going to work imo.  You need to run the IPO, then do the swap.  If you want to keep people from dumping then provide incentive to people that hold their coins.  Be creative in how you reward your investors. 

I think everyone can see the devs are busying working hard on aerome. 

Really should swap all dos when you start so its done and over with so you can move on.

Yeah I'm not quite sure what the devs plan is but it would seem like they will be back at some point. It just doesn't feel like they have left for good IMO. I wouldn't promote this to others but for myself I think Ill go ahead and hold my coins for now.
