Re: ETH, Dash and Ripple which to invest in?
by

on 18/01/2019, 17:22:11 UTC
I believe in the ETH.
Developers have a very important point now.
And I think we will see strong growth if developers can solve some problems. The next big update can make a big profit for ETH holders.
But this is a big risk. And it's only my opinion. It's not advice.
Just for the record, ETH accounts for almost half of my portfolio.

ETH has a bad situation.
For the first, ETH is a good platform for providing ICO.
Maybe it's the best.
But it has one more side.
It's very easy way to make own cryptocurrency.
For now, It's like make a web site by constructor.
And it's main cause of occurrence scam projects i think.
And we need more control for this.

Re: What are your plans for this year
by
ipsec

I will be in this market until the very end.
I have several sources of income. And for me, investing is an additional (but not the main) source of income.
If the cryptocurrency market collapses, I will lose this source. But I will not be unemployed. And I advise this strategy to all.
But it seems to me that selling your coins for nothing is too stupid.

Re: The future of Stellar!

You look like you only have XLM in your wallet.
But you must understand where you are.
It doesn't matter what you have. BTC, ETH or something else.
If the world of cryptocurrency will collapse. It will collapse completely.
Some technologies may remain. But the cryptocurrencies themselves will die. And I do not see the point in your question. In any case, if the market returns XLM will have a good future.

Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC?
by
ipsec
on 17/01/2019, 08:57:55 UTC
Not now. And not in near future.
ETH cannot defeat BTC for a very long time. And XPR is a more  young currency.
In any case, BTC and XPR have different meanings for the crypto world.
BTC is like cryptocurrency gold. At the moment, it is a tool for investing. And XPR is a trading platform.

Re: Will SEC never approve Bitcoin ETF?
by

on 17/01/2019, 08:37:22 UTC
I believe that SEC will approve  BTC. But BTC needs better conditions for this.
I think SEC have a very tricky policy. And as soon as BTC begins to grow, they immediately will remember us.
I also admit the possibility that SEC does not specifically approve BTC now. Since this may affect growth.

Re: majority will lose money and minds
by

You speak as if you lost your money on investing.
But this is only your fault. I personally was able to buy several BTC. I also did not use my personal funds. Only my time. And I know many other people who have just made a profit here. But for that you must have a cold mind. I understand you. It hurts you. But your resentment has nothing to do with reality.

The commission is constant because the number of transactions does not decrease.
I think this is one of the main problems at the moment.
And we have several ways to solve this problem. But at the moment it takes time. Use altcoins for small transactions for now. And yes. ETH has the same problem.

Re: Bitcoin legal and illegal countries
by

I do not believe in this. I mean. Do you really think that the government of at least one country wants to destroy its economy? Bitcoin is created just for this. Deliver us from intermediary. And the state is exactly the same intermediary.
When I hear about the legalization of BTC. I hear about total control BTC.

I think yes.
BTC is the same source of income.
Why should someone avoid this if they can invest?
It doesn't matter how central banks refer to cryptocurrencies. There are people behind any bank. And these people also want to make money on anything.

Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin?
by

We see a similar situation every two years.
Remember 2015. It was a terrible year for cryptocurrency. But it passed. And BTC grew 5 times after that.
I see no reason to panic. I see reasons to buy BTC now. I see an increase in the popularity of BTC and cryptocurrency. And I know that everything will be fine.

Re: What does it mean to buy on the Dip?
by
ipsec
on 11/01/2019, 12:15:09 UTC
"Buy on the Dip" is a very individual concept. If I bought BTC 5 years ago, it is still growing for me.
But if I bought BTC in January 2017 the market is the bottom for me. Do you understand?
This is important for each individual and for his strategy.

Re: With a booming on 2017 and difficult time on 2018, will Bitcoin recover on 2019?
by

on 11/01/2019, 11:37:37 UTC
I am afraid that analogies with past years may end badly. The fact that BTC repeated its development path every year does not mean that it will happen again. Maybe it will happen. But what if not? What if BTC does not regain the previous maximum for this year? I see several ways of development of  BTC and the crypto world. But I hope that the market will return.

Re: Max Keiser Says Bitcoin Will Become the World’s Reserve Currency
by
ipsec
on 10/01/2019, 08:05:08 UTC
To be honest, I do not believe it. Bitcoin is too volatile a currency for such purposes. It will be a few more years before this to become a reality.
Bitcoin has fundamental differences and advantages over ordinary money. But this (for now) is not enough to become a reserve world currency.

Re: 10 Real places where you can spend your Bitcoins today

I like this list.
I mean, that's cool. I can not only sell my BTC for dollars. I can buy any goods right behind BTC. But it seems to me that this is still not enough. This is like a trick. As additional advertising for the stores. And not as a real method of payment. But it's still cool.

Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal?
by
ipsec
on 10/01/2019, 06:46:04 UTC
Of course this will have a positive effect.
Legalization of cryptocurrency means the ability to use this as a payment method. This will lead to an increase in users of cryptocurrencies. And increasing users means increasing capitalization. It's simple.

Re: Why Banks on blockchain?
by
ipsec
on 10/01/2019, 06:41:36 UTC
There are several reasons why banks are starting to use blockchain technology.
It is more secure. This is the most important parameter of any bank. You do not want to carry your money in a less secure bank.
Secondly, it is a cheaper way. Blockchain technology can reduce data storage costs by up to 40%.

Re: What if?
by

Nothing would change.
Even if the BTC was born in America, India or Russia.
Cryptocurrency is a product of the Internet. And the Internet has no borders like a countrys. It seems to me that the BTC appeared where it should and could appear. And nothing else.
We can talk about this for hours. But it was happened. And we can not change it now.

Re: India May Legalize Cryptos But Under ‘Strong’ Rules: Report
by
ipsec
on 09/01/2019, 12:07:19 UTC
I think this is good news.
I mean, that's good, right? Is that what we want? We are wanting cryptocurrency has rules and regulations. And so that we have a regrouper in the crypto world (in India crypto world).
But this is only one side of the issue.
The main question is how tough we will be?
If I can't buy drugs for BTC, that is good.
But if I can not fully use the BTC is already bad.

Re: Bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day
by

I am not a fan of BTC. I understand that BTC has a number of problems. And this is an outdated cryptocurrency.
On the other hand, I am a fan of cryptocurrency. I see this potential. And I see the opportunities that cryptocurrency gives us.
BTC will die, fact. Nothing lives forever. But cryptocurrency is an idea. And ideas don't die.
