Do you say decentralized because one twitter gets to blast info to everyone and perhaps could influence their decisions?

Satoshi was going to use it to broadcast messages, about software updates, problems etc and since wallets are optional, a person could just choose a different wallet?

Would it be possible or maybe it already exists for Bitcoin wallets to display Twitter feeds, or perhaps even a graph displaying the current price/volume.

What are the potential risks (if any) to having these API pulls in the wallet software. Can the site who is have their data "pulled" see the IP/Computer info of the wallets pulling it and maybe compromise the anonymity of the person?

I know Satoshi had mentioned adding a way for him to broadcast a message to the all the connected wallets, but wouldn't a twitter feed that displays on a tab in the wallet be more practical?

Having wallets display info from other sources seems like a neat addition to a custom wallet, what are some reasons why/why not someone would use a wallet like that?

Unfortunately, yes

Honestly, there are still plenty of subreddits to use a tipbot on, outside of Trump related subreddits, there's political subreddits, humor/meme subreddits, crypto and btc related subreddits; heck maybe even some investing related subreddits will permit its use.

Exposure is a good thing, especially with the "hold your hand" video walkthrough of how to buy Trumpcoin, that's coming soon.

If anything the_donald may have sent some curious investigators our why who had never even heard of such a thing by making that thread.

I know you can turn some gift cards into BTC, I wonder if there's something there with getting less tech savvy people into the Trumpcoin project while also avoiding chargebacks.

I saw that listing previously and have to say it wasn't cheap - it's a real testament to the dedication of the people involved in this coin that we were able to acquire that domain.

I know we are re-directing the .com to the .rocks for now, but let's make sure we also then 301 redirect the .rocks site to the .com once we are officially start using the YUGE new domain.

Has anyone reached out to Coinmarketcap to acknowledge that Trumpcoin is now on a 3rd exchange? Don't want to duplicate efforts.

Lastly, whoever/whenever we start the next Trumpcoin general on /biz/ let's update the template OP some outdated things on there.

I am absolutely amazed to see a coin with this type of dev involvement and even more amazed at the price/volume I woke up to.

It would be better to have them put up a site of some sort with similar/the same information worded a little differently, maybe write some articles of their own (Is Trumpcoin the future of political funding?). The idea being that when someone searches "TrumpCoin" or "Trump Coin" or What is "Trumpcoin" etc on their favorite search engine that the entire first page is a site providing good, intriguing information,.

The only way a trump related domain that redirects to the official site helps us is if that domain was getting direct "type in" traffic to begin with OR if you want to prevent others (critics?) from having it in the future.

Controlling the first pages of the search engines should be a priority at some point. So if it only costs one a few bucks, might as well grab a domain and put up a little version of your own pro TrumpCoin media.
