I think its a great initiative to establish a precedent and many other companies will follow. It has its riks but its where the world is going
It is, however more countries should be more tolerant and open towards bitcoin if you ask me. It's has been proven that even the IMF is pro crypto currency since it makes things more transparent, fast and decentralized.

During those days since this thread was started we saw a lot of drops and pumps and currently bitcoin is trading on 19000$ price. I think we don't need to make panic even if it is going to fall down to 10000$. It is still huge price for bitcoin in which no one could believe in the beginning of this year, so we need to than Bitcoin even for that.
I saw a specialist's opinion that bitcoin will fall deep after 20000$ point, but I don't believe in that. Bitcoin is not the babble and I am going to hold and raise my founds with every opportunity.

At this moment I am happy to have cashed out a substantial part of my bitcoins. Offcourse i am hoping to buy back cheaper, but overall I am happy too have profitted this much.
Taking profits is always good. And in my case I only sold like 5% of my total wealth.
I think btc can reach 10k by the end of the year. But it will have a correction like every year in in the next months.
10K will happen but I will expect a correction first. Perhaps in the next couple of months though.
The a new cycle can test earlier level and perhaps even 10k or 11k. But my guess is just as good as your guess.

Looking back i remember that i found 2500 very high and I was hoping the price would go back to 1500. But now november 2017 bitcoin is worth almost 10k. These are very very crazy times honestly.

It's start with practice but research is key. The more research you do, be it reading on to the whitepaper or even technical analysis, the larger you chance to make more is. I think in time people who spent time will be succesfull in this endeavour, although luck is important too.

Yes it surely is it might not be officially the strongest currency as kuwait somehow still has the most expensive currency in the world but as things are progressing for bitcoin there will be a day where we all proudly can say bitcoin is the strongest currency officially. It is sure that one day or another government will have to accept bitcoin
The large traditional currencies hold more value and authority over all crypto currencies combined. But what we can see or say is that crypto is not just a nerd thing. Investors have seen the potential and with their support a whole new kind of feature set will come. Which will give bitcoin and crypto it's deserved place in the financial markets... #1
Most likely, nothing. The current forks are attempts at cash grabs, and only that. There is nothing about them that warrants any good reason to switch from Bitcoin, and most people simply sell off their shares and buy Bitcoin instead. It is like free money in a sense, so tat is really cool. lol
I dont understand these people that are keep on making forks. And I had to agree with you, most forks now are into making cash easily connecting its users to another chain. There are things to be discussed and this is a long debate for fork supporters but only one chain shall prevail.I think the current fork holds some potential on the way where we will going. Segwit with LN or Blocksize increase. It's important for traders to know which way bitcoin is going to be scaled. Investors and users will also be interested to see if transactions will be faster/cheaper then what they are worth right now.
At the moment there are pretty much mostly bearish signals. We will have to wait till november after the Hard fork to see in which momentum bitcoin is, looking at the outcast i suspect the markets to remain bearish till the new year honestly

If the bitcoin is banned in China, it will suffer a strong blow, but it will not disappear. It will decrease temporarily but will return!
The Chinese have banned bitcoin more then 15 times, so this time will not be different then all the other times.
They announce a ban

They say bitcoin is good again
They profit.
Then after some time they do it again. It's boring and strange that it is still working.
bitcoin price was not stable. now can not speculate much, bitcoin price can be increase or decrease at the end of the month when Chinese baned Bitcoin exchanges. However, i think that bitcoin price will reach $5000 by the end of this year.
This is the nature of bitcoin. Every time it goes up and down with quite some margin. But consider it normal since bitcoin is innovation and powerfull, so many entities try to boss bitcoin.
Which in the end is impossible, because it's decentralized nature, we are safe...
It depends a lot, because the BTC has increased a lot in recent months, but it can go up even more. It is difficult to analyze the market but I believe that in a medium period it will fall a little, but in the long run it will rise even more. 
What is important is that china tells their people loud and clear how they treat bitcoin. Is it a currency or will they make it illegal.
After so many bans it's time they show their cards. It is not that Bitcoin is new anymore.
I expect nothing to happen this year. Maybe after the fork in november the price will climb again, but for most investors the current tide is dangerous to invest in, something they are willing to do when the price is rising.

Bounty campaigns are a gamble. Some campaigns can be very good, but other campaigns are bogus, But it's true you can make free coins and trade them back to bitcoin with a bounty campaign. But remember some ICO's are totally crap and you may be promoting a scam.

No it is not too late, although if you have waited this long you may be sad because the price did a x4 in just this last 8 months. I believe in time a 10k bitcoin is not very hard to achieve so no it's not to late, not this time at least.
It never too late to do some quick buy of bitcoin because halving is around the corner which mean the price per bitcoin maybe 2x. Therefore, you need to watch the price closely because some dumps will happen pretty soon before or after Aug 1st.
Agreed i believe, still believe we can see a btc of 5k usd in a year or 2. Sure the price will have corrections a on the road to 5k but overall the system seems to work and investors, companies seem to trust in het bitcoin network now.
When i look at the last couple of weeks i am certain the price is/was manipulated. But now it's hard to say where the price is going. Gaining 400 usd in a day is a lot, and with 1 week before the deadline it's hard to say what people are waiting for.
In the fork of August is not impossible. If it drops lower than 1300 it will deep and deep as it will have no support. Maybe we will have another shot on stockpiling "cheap" bitcoin again...
There is plenty of support above 1200 USD.
And today I heard a Goldman Sach analyst say that the price can retract to 1800 dollar but not much lower. Then a new fifth wave can/will happen which may take the price to a stable 3200 dollar. Which would be an excellent price for 1 bitcoin.
The price now sounds way more possible then 2 years ago. However I think we will to wait a couple of years. Minimum 3 years. Because with the halving in 2020 I think the price can get a really good boost and we may see it reach 10k.
