like others I hope share will add to mintpal, so I hold my sharecoins and vote in mintpal, but it's too slow, so dev can you use btc to buy vote

think of the feeshares as backing for sharecoin. do you think that when dollar was based off of gold that the total value of all the dollars didn't far surpass the quantity of gold in reserve?
sharecoins are awesome because they will always have a tangible asset that they can be traded in for.

the thought here is that with sharecoins there is less chance of failure, because in order for it to become worthless both the coins and the business have to lose all their value.

I just found that the old COMM thread was locked.
I have to go to London for business 2 week ago so I couldn't submit my application on that day.

in case people are curious i did some cpu and gpu testing with nvidia and ati etc
i found that mining Vertcoin was close to 3x more profitable than mining Darkcoin.
So if you wanted darkcoins then mine VTC and buy them
also i think VTC is more honest.. Dark coin is a rip off of Quark and they won't give any credit to Quark at all and play dumb about it.
they also have all kinds of trickery involved from day one like parading it around as a cpu only coin and not posting gpu miner links on the ANN page description.
Even though there was gpu miners around since day 1 ! so they have exploited the rep of being a cpu only coin to get people involved.. scammy !
Screw Darkcoin and their scammy bullshit.. their title boasts claims they can't back up too.. it's also listed on the CPU only coin listing topic.

But why show our hand until we have to?
Also the fact that they are scrypt miners that can adapt to scrypt-N means they won't be fully optimized for mining scrypt (as much as they could be for a scrypt-only chip). Which means they will lose to their competitors. Which, if we then change our PoW, means money lost.
