You're welcome in the world of crypto.  On this particular forum, that seems not to be the case.  Don't worry, a lot of people confuse those two things.  I can't tell you how many times I've read shit like "I joined bitcoin to earn money" or similar nonsense--they mean to say they created an account here to spam for a bounty, but that's not how it reads.

I don't know what you did to warrant a ban, and only a mod can tell you that.  Usually people get banned for copy/pasting, but shitposting for airdrops is a close second.  People can barely get a response here when they legitimately get their accounts hacked, so responding to someone who got banned is an extremely low priority for the mods.  Don't be surprised if you never get a response.

If you've ever browsed Meta, you'd realize that the response you're getting from everyone is exactly what you should expect.

Thanks for that.  From your post and from mods post i can see now how serious the rules are enforced; hands up i messed up.  I just think (hope) people deserve a second chance.

You got banned. So that's a hint you did something wrong. After which you proceeded to evade the ban (which means posting anywhere outside of this thread), so you clearly didn't read the rules even AFTER you got banned. Repeated malicious rule violation is what it looks like. Yes, it was "extremely unlikely", now it's "no fucking way".

Your second ban will be your most valuable contribution to the forum.

I guess it's hard to look down from your Ivory Tower at the scum you seem to believe i am.  I joined the forum, messed up and instead of guiding and advising you go straight for the jugular - but i guess that is just the society we find ourselves living in these days.  I guess you are doing ok, but i can go f*ck myself i take it?

I am trying to catch a break in life, I am here asking for help, that's all.  I am sorry if you deem i am not worth your time or compassion.

Oh dear, now i am worried!  I am not intentionally breaking any rules, i am obviously just very stupid!! (i'm off to read the forum rules again!!)

I have rejoined and am hopefully being a better contributor - yes i am still following the airdrops, but i am also trying to contribute and engage in the other areas of the forum.

Just tell me what i am doing wrong before you feel the need to ban me completely and i become sad and depressed.

Don't worry, I've already reported you.

Gee thanks  Sad  Like i say, i am new to crypto and tbh i feel like i'm not welcome and just getting shouted at with no-one telling me where i am going wrong.  Bitcointalk is seen as a place to come as you guys/girls are crypto veterans, i don't feel welcome at all and feel like i'm been looked down upon as shit on your shoe  Sad

I have looked at the rules and have seen:

  • 25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

I am not attempting to ban evade, i messed up and asked for a second chance, but from the posts above i am told it is "extremely unlikely" i will be unbanned. So i am not sure what i am to do?

Bottom line is that i have learned what i need to do to be a valuable contributor to the forum, all i ask for is a second chance to prove myself and not let you down - or you can continue to look down upon me, ban me and i will move on, but that would be disappointing and would leave a bad taste as all i am asking for is help and guidance from you  Grin

I spread out over several highly sought after ICO's (Wepower, Envion etc).   All are now below ico price!

So far I don't think I chose obvious scam ICO's, but I did have higher hopes.

Not only are there many scams out there, the whales seem to buy up the icos and dump at the first chance therefore crashing the price along the way.  I think something needs to be done, but i am unsure what.......... Cry

After reading the Zantepay Whitepaper and scouring the internet, i think it is safe to conclude that they have everything that is needed for a modern crypto wallet. The variety of features, the security, the debit card (fiat to crypto and vice versa) etc reflect that Zantepay will be a success.

I really hope not, although i do worry.  I saw the dot com bubble burst and that wasn't pretty.

Crypto COULD play a big part our future, but at the minute it is not well regulated and more alike to the wild west.  Mainstream still believe there is only BTC and that crypto is used by crooks and scammers only - we have a way to go yet...................

I've said it before, it is becoming a grind signing up to airdrops, especially when sop many of them are scams - it's hard to work out the good from the bad.

I also find it is very false, Projects are effectively paying you to promote their product and there are so many falsehoods "great project" etc and this is all across social media; you're average joe just sees this praiseworthy reviews and invests thinking they have backed a winner.  I am not sure what the answer is, but things will have to change otherwise crypto will always be seen as the wold west!  Grin

One of the annoying things about crypto is the hoops you have to jump through to convert fiat to crypto and vice versa.  Having your debit card linked to crypto like BitEspirit is certainly a step in the right direction in ensuring fast transactions with security and without seven extra steps we are having to go through at present.

Yey, got my account verified with Zantepay.  I am investing in cryptocurrencies and I really like the you connect digital and fiat currencies. This is the gap in the market which Zantepay is working to fill.

I have a wallet full of shit coins, but i have had a couple of airdrops that have done quite well.

It is becoming a bit of a grind now as there so many airdrops appearing and a lot of them just scream SCAM!!  It's hard to tell the difference between a good project and a scam these days Sad

I disagree that 99% of Airdrops are scams! There are MANY that are scams, but there are many that are not.  Many of the big players offered airdrops when first starting out as a way of exposure etc, i think it's just a case of DYOR.

Not just scams, but a lot more higher percentage of ICO's now resut in a huge dump and it is cheaper to buy at exchange after the dump!!

Yes, you sometimes get a bonus with the ico, but still, you would expect your coin to move upwards on release not hit less than ico price Sad

Economics is very useful, especially when dealing with crypto.  But i for one struggle with economics, so hates off to those that don't.

I have had countless people who have majored in economics etc trying to explain that while crypto is useful and could almost certainly replace fiat; it was just a different language to me  Grin

I'm glad to be part of this project and am definitely looking forward to your progress in 2018 and beyond.

I have been researching crypto innovation recently and it is truly astounding what has been accomplished and what we can look forward too; i am particularly excited to (hopefully!) have a Zantepay debit card!

Re: Why people don’t believe in crypto?
by
ivrytwr4

I still believe in crypto but it is getting harder and harder each day  Undecided.  There are those that call it a ponzi scheme, but crypto has been going for several years now and there are many companies investing millions into getting their crypto companies up and running.  Without shilling, look at FunFair (Fun token) - they are currently in beta, have a crypto casino go live in a few weeks, their CEO is an ex games developer and CEO for William Hill bookies and the price of their coin> 2c!!!!!!

So when a coin value can be determined on hype or price manipulation, i do get fearful, but i am trying to remain upbeat!!!
