I'm not so used to eBay, only ever sold a few items (MP3 players and what not). Wondering what precautions I need to take when selling my Saturn / Avalon there.
Experienced eBayers, please help!

A lot of people register daily, no? I'm all for IP checks, but is it right to just IP check randoms because of signup date? What is Theymos' rule of thumb w/ IPs? Why not just release all scammer IP addresses?

that's a bizarre one... congratulations bud, you got a sears giftcard that may very well be cancelled, or even better, you use it and are video'd. that'd be phenomenal.

Re: How to hack into a wallet with your stolen Bitcoins.
cops are useless when it comes to bitcoin thefts. they 1) dont know what they are, the equivalent to saying "my friend stole my neopoints" and b) dont have the means to trace ip addresses that are likely outside their jurisdiction.
if you have $25,000 kicking around, then you might be able to get something done, but even then... look @ projects & coinabul... over half a million in one case and over a quarter of a mil in the other, full disclosure of bank information... and yet... nothing. kind of blows my mind and illustrates the strengh of bitcoin as well as the downside.

craigslist is brutal. if they post a miner in your locale then ask to ship it... it's a scam. 100% no two ways about it.

I would definitely buy Jupiters. They are the best available, IMO. My favorite miner might be my Saturn, because it is more practical when you live in an apartment... but if you want hash, Jupiter is best right now.
