Cryptsy is a perfectly cromulent exchange. But like most things in our little universe, have limited resources to deal with what has bloomed into a billion dollar economy.

Mtgox is still extremely shady and people use it.
Was researching on mining bitcoin, but found that my system is way to low end to do that. Found dogecoins instead, and thought it's pretty fun.
but Dogecoins arent worth anything and were made up to be sort of a joke, you need to invest in BTC and Litecoins..Protip: Never, EVER invest in a crypto backed by 4chan memes and copy pasta.
I'm not so sure this is true. There was a point when the protip probably was "don't invest in a random intangible currency"....
