its quite a few of us here, actually, no withdrawals made since 12:45ish last nite have hit any external wallets. there are about 5 or 6 of us here, waiting patiently. assistance appreciated !
Started yesterday and happy with its ease of use. Entry point is not bad at .051btc. Good for folks starting up on contract mining, registered in a few mins and started hashing away.
Surprised it's not getting as much attention here in BTCtalk, so spreading the word.
of course not a problem. When i first got involved 6 months ago i bought the old 333mhz asic erupters. I think I actually broke even or so only because I resold them for 1/2 what i Paid for them. Having the hardware and selling it after several months definitely helps recoup the lose. PLus seeing the miner work gives me some enjoyment If you have anymore questions about mining or bitcoin in general feel free to PM me
Haha maybe I can sell the account in the absence of hardware. Prices today even for erupters are crazy though!!! (70-100usd???) hahaha. Yep there's profit in hardware at the right time. Thanks for the tip again! Exciting world!
Demontn - Sorry for the side chat, very much happy with the service and even added a little bit more with the discount today. There are risks but happy for em! Thank you I'll be spreading the word around.
block (5-7 days) is about right before the newer machines come out. In the beginning it will be good but after you earn about half your investment back the gh/s will become nonexistant keep in mind this is assuming the 28% increase which will most likely rise drastically when these terraminers come out. THis is for 1gh/s and does not even account for the 8% fee this website will charge you. The profitability of actually owning the 1 gh/s miner is mining with it for a while then reselling it and having a nice profit from the amount you mined in a month or so.
Thanks. Really value your opinion and it makes sense. I'm new at the mining game and wanted to learn my way through it... so took the risk.
Yes the biggest factor definitely is difficulty. I like the setup though as it eliminates maintenance/hosting risk (e.g., if a neptune/saturn conks out that's a lot of lost time), hardware depreciation, and maybe power. There are higher BTC/GH rates out there today though at a future date (Q1/Q2 2014), figured it would be good to simulate today. Low cost of entry made it worthwhile.
how'd you compute? reason i ask is did a simple online one put in a conservative 70-100 day roi (btc basis, not fiat), hopefully comes in just in time terraminers kill gh mining. thnx!
Looks good however it seems that even at this price you will never ROI let alone profit. Assuming a 28% increase in difficulty every block even after a year and a half you will not earn your money back since 1 GH/s will be nothing in a year.
wow. that was fast and easy. logon, few transfers. now mining...
TRY IT OUT FOLKS! don't intend to be a pr*ck, but sharing my referral link on this page - http://bit-mining.co/?ref=528.* if you're starting out like me on contract mining, wouldn't hurt.
*OP - if the post above is improper, i'd gladly take it down.
Hi akw, First I believe in this and hope we can raise as much to complete the orders!
Help needed - Was about to transfer more, BUT noticed in blockchain.nfo that when using localbitcoins the sending addresses are different from the receiving one. I hope this is not an issue and my address in the original posts will be used: 1L7tUxRtZHHrCpMDyqxoJ2iTczup3qFEys. Thanks will look forward to your reply
e.g. this one shows 10(!) different sending addresses:
If you guys can pool together $5000 USD, I can order a black arrow that does 2 TH/s. But, I can't host it here in Manila. On the other hand, there are already Group Buys for all such rigs where you can "own" shares. I think that's what most people did.
If you're interested in small little miners for personal use, a few of us already have little usb ones and blades and other kinds, but I think those will not ROI (at least not in BTC mined). People buy those for other reasons.

BITCOIN MINING SETUP
Hi folks! Newbie here, been lurking and finally got posting rights today
Anyone interested in setting up a bitcoin mining operation in manila? we're looking at preordering T hash rigs. There are known risks and unknowns of course, but we're optimistic on its future. We're still conducting due dilligence, today we believe it will be worthwhile (not to mention the fun while at it).
I know a lot of folks have lots of experience (mine is limited to GUI mining in the advent of asics) and any leads/guidance would be appreciated. Potential partners very much welcome of course.
Let me know and we can plan an ad-hoc meetup here in Manila. Thanks guys!
Jobim

@skinturtle had the same question as you some time back. Tried coinbase though the entry requirements (US back account, documents etc) did not suit my needs now.
Yes localbitcoins is reliable (there are risks) but so far the people I've talked to are trustworthy. You may want to join the Bitcoin PH Facebook page. There at least I get to know who I'm dealing with. So far so good.
