Re: What do you do with a good trading strategy?
by
jaberwock
on 25/07/2025, 14:53:30 UTC
Essentially, we must first identify our own type of trader. Only then can we adapt to our circumstances once we truly understand ourselves. The reason is, some people don't even know themselves. Logically, how can we possibly trade so well when we don't know how to adapt to our own circumstances?

Short-term or long-term isn't the issue. The problem is when we refuse to learn and focus on profit, ignoring all the potential risks. Don't think about making quick profits, even if that's normal. It's better to slowly earn smaller profits, but be more consistent in achieving them.
That is so hard as well, because you require a ton of experience first. The more experience you gain, the more you see how you trade and then you start to slowly understand what kind of trader you are, if you can do that , then you are going to earn a lot more money. Obviously it is not an easy thing to do, and it requires you to do a lot more.

But if you can do it, like gain experience, and actually start to make some money, then yeah it is going to be great for you without a doubt. Too many people miss that part, and they should not be looking at it like it is something that could generate so much. Reality is simple, you won't get that much, you just need to be careful and you should just focus on gaining more expertise to be better.

Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024

MLS can't offer money like SPL. If Messi's after money he'll sign a mega contract with Al Ahli. He's played in Argentina Spain & America so if he wants new experiences he'll leave Inter Miami. Messi's got options to stay in Inter Miami or go to SPL.
That is why they are not really offering him a "salary", they are offering him a revenue share. Meaning, he gets a cut from the money they made. Also, why would he need a new thing? He is living in one of the best places for an Hispanic person to live, Miami is a great place. As a Christian, it is not easy for someone to decide to go to Saudi league, while we have seen plenty who accepted, we have also seen plenty that rejected.

Most famously, Kroos rejected big time, like literally joked about it. So we are seeing Messi, who already makes 100 million a year, from the revenue share, and saying, he should go there? Why? Miami is better, and he has money, there is really no need for "even more" money, he is not making 5 million and offered 500, he is getting 100 and offered 200+, so it doesn't worth it for him.

I know that new people come every day that will fall into old scams, but more people will know about them, more they spread the word. At least that's what i hope. I have to say that $trump token just feeded this type of scam even more. I didn't see it coming because who in their right mind would have predicted it. I still have hard time believing it happened.
As you said, there are old users that are already aware of an old scam attempt, and then this Trump coin is not new anymore, I mean there are meme coins that came before it. As an old user, it is only easy to spot these. We can just based on what is the current trend. Last time, there is a presidential election and Trump won, so the coming of a meme or a meme coin that are named after it is already expected.

Those who have morals won't be able to do such activities, but the ones who lack them are many on the street, which is why such types of scams exist. There are many ways to earn from crypto, but only a few are patient enough to familiarize themselves with one.
As you guys have said 'there are lots of ways' so there should be a way to earn quickly and easily but maybe the potential profit for it also small. This is why there are still some that choose the illegal way instead. They will do anything for the sake of money, no wonder why we have a saying that 'money is the root of all evil'.

I will not have high expectations from Manchester City next season. We saw the team's irregular performance last season. However, the team was very lucky that it was able to qualify for the Champions League in the end.

It will be more difficult for Manchester City to dominate the Premier League next season. Liverpool management is trying to build an unstoppable squad. The team is spending a lot of money to buy players for this. If the players can adapt quickly to Arne Slot's match strategy, then Liverpool has the most potential to dominate the Premier League. Besides, Chelsea and Arsenal are also very strong teams. So it will be a big challenge for Manchester City to get a place in the top 2 of the table early in the season.
A team that won 4 years in a row, and then finished third, can't be "that" bad, they should be fighting for a title again. Sure last year they finished 13 points behind the winner, and that is terrible, but imagine them having normal results during that November-December period they sucked so bad, outside of that, they were averaging as much as Liverpool, they just had one big bad period, and 4 wins during that period wouldn't be that unlikely normally.

I feel as if they could avoid having a period like that, and if they do, then they are going to be battling for a top spot again. Not like every year they could have 2 months where they lose or tie all the time, that was last year and one time, this year they won't have that.

Re: Will E-shopping sites ever accept bitcoin?

Uber considering to accept crypto currency again is a sign that they may have regretted their previous decision to suspend accepting crypto currency this to me shows that they may have not imagined that crypto currency must have developed into what we are seeing today.

With the way that the world is going it's only good that any company that is thinking about the growth and future of their company should think the way of crypto especially stable coins like Bitcoin which has become a global asset due to it nature
That should be good, but the pace is the thing that fears me. Because lets face it, without a confirmation, like even just one, that's not going to be easy to prevent fraud and they are going to have trouble. And if you ask someone to wait for one confirmation, that can take 30 seconds too, which isn't bad, but it would also be a scary thing where it could take 10-15 minutes or even more.

So, the only possible way for this to happen, would be, you loading up your uber account with some money, using bitcoin. That way, you could even ask for them to wait 6 confirmations, because people can do that when they are at home and going nowhere ,then when they need to, they have money in their uber accounts. If they can arrange a way to do that, it could work.

If he doesn't accept the contract with Al Ahli he won't be offered a mega contract again because he's 38 he'll retire soon. If he wants money he'll go to SPL. If his contract with Inter Miami's over in Dec will he go to Argentina or Spain to finish his pro career ?
No, he won't go to Argentina or Spain to finish his career. He wanted that in the beginning of his career but I guess, he doesn't want that now and I also think he won't live in Argentina, it's not a very good country after all compared to Spain and the USA. The reason why he doesn't want to live in Spain is because he wants to enjoy a more peaceful life. Football isn't as popular in the USA as it is in Europe and they even call it a soccer and football is a different sport there. Messi moved in Miami because he will enjoy a peaceful life there and Miami is full of Spanish speaking people, there are lots of Latinos there, it's also similar to Spain in some terms, it's warm, there are beaches, I bet he feels like at home. He has said that his family adapted well.
Yeah, that was the reason why he preferred Miami, and he will stay there for a while longer I am sure. It depends on what he wants to do after he retires, like if he wants to go into coaching or not, if he doesn't want that neither, he could literally live his entire life in Miami. Considering he is still scoring like crazy, that means he could just renew his contract there and get as much money as possible and just play until he retires, and then retire and live there as a retired rich person.

Miami is a great place to live if you are wealthy, and he is. Just because his contract is ending, doesn't mean he needs to move to another team, he could just keep getting paid by Miami, and he is earning a lot there too, not like he is working for a few million, people act as if Saudis offer a lot, and Miami offers nothing, but Miami offers a lot of money too, just because it's less than what Saudis offer, doesn't mean it's nothing, it's still a lot of money.

Re: Trading the market then vs Now...

Although that is right, we still need to learn technical and fundamental analysis because that helps us to know when we can trade. If you just rely on the news without knowing about those two things, you may find it difficult to find the time to trade.

We can not just sit and search for the news, especially about Bitcoin and what happens to the US or other countries. With technical and fundamental analysis, we can search for the entry and exit point so we can make more profit.

It is how we can use the things we find and learn so that we can benefit ourselves in trading. I still believe in fundamentals and technical analysis and also in what has happened. Both fundamentals and technical analysis are related so we can not just use one side without learning more.
I believe not all are like that. Maybe those who are not that serious are only the ones who does that. Looking at the social media is I think part of fundamental analysis and FA alone can help actually help us to know when to trade but if we can also do TA why not? That should increase our chances dramatically.

FA and TA are related in a way that they can be used in trading but not related in a way that one relies on the news and economic happenings, while the other is basing only on the charts and how the price moves. We can use one of them for a while if we are still starting and upon learning more, that is where we can now use both.

Sometimes, we may not have to look at the present performance of a coin, but the long term effect and implication upon any decision we make, that is why in choosing between which coin to go for, we are not expected to go by the hypes created, instead the way they have been of a value to the general world and how they can serves a long and lifetime utility value, its a shame that some are still seeing other cryptocurrency having prospects than what bitcoin stand to give, when some of them may fail to perform for a long, time, now we are in the bitcoin season, i don't expect any other decision other than bitcoin.
You are right on hypes or FOMO but all coin in the list are not new either and prolly has a bright future ahead too. Maybe there is something in the works with XRP that people see, so they now bag more of it.

As for ETH, I heard there is another upgrade on it last time, so maybe it is also worthy to add more of it. You are still correct that we must not also forget BTC. Not only that it was the oldest but all must see how it is performing lately. The weakest in the poll is Solana but I too saw a thread about it last time, that it might have a comeback after the launch of pumpfun token, as some meme coins under it is also making a comeback.

I honestly believe it is a coincidence that both incidents happened at same time. These things happen, it is hard for me to believe that Arsenal would frame a player just because he refused to extend his contract with the club. There is no history of the club having done something like this in the past, I don’t think they will start now.
Nah, I'm not actually suggesting that his was framed by Arsenal or Arsenal raised the matter again because he refused to renew after his demands were not met. I think as an Arsenal player that he was, Arsenal didn't want anything that will distract him playing like all these court cases and the rest, so they simply suppressed the case so it doesn't come out in the open like it would have been but now that his no longer an Arsenal player, the club has removed it's hands from the case that's why it out now again.
I highly doubt a football club could have such power. The ability to sweep this under the rug for so long, just so he would not lose value or something or whatever, isn't that possible for a football team. How do we know? Because there has been other teams and players that had bad stuff and all of that was on the news, so that is an important point, we have already seen them fail to do it before, so they are not that powerful.

Plus, why would anyone listen to them? Like why would any newspaper not write about it? That is a huge click material and would be able to actually get it. The only reason is because the news became public now, with the allegations turning into criminal suit, and that is why we are seeing it today, nothing more.

even though you harm it XRP is in Top 3 CMC at this time, it is very unreasonable if you harm it and you don't have any achievements, see the market capitalization, are you looking at yourself?

The comparison is everyone's right, even when you want to compare BTC with other coins, you do not have the right to limit someone in his conversation.
XRP being high right now, doesn't mean anything for the long term of it. It is true that after the lawsuit, they began to go up, but they barely passed their previous all time high, on this one, and skipped the bull period of last time in 202. So you need to realize that XRP has not been a good earner, there were many others that earned people even more.

But you need to consider that it is not really getting any better, and considering how centralized it is, as soon as anything happens to Ripple, we are not going to see it happen any great at all. We should be focusing on how to get better at all. We are going to see XRP crash, we just need to wait for Ripple to do a lot worse, and it is not really that weird, it could happen better.

if Real Madrid sells Vinicius, I'm very confident their performance will be poor, perhaps even worse than last season. So, I don't think Real Madrid should be tempted by big offers from Saudi Arabian League teams. They should prioritize their performance and the goals they want to achieve next season. Moreover, they've just brought in a new coach, so to keep him busy developing a solid strategy, key players like Vinicius shouldn't be sold. However, I'm confident Real Madrid won't sell Vinicius, especially as we know he wants to stay at Real Madrid for now. So, given this, Real Madrid will definitely keep Vinicius.
I disagree, that only depends who they will replace him with, and how they will play. What they need right now is just players that they could play to fit Xabi's system. This is why the best thing for them is to have a plan before they do something like this, even if they do it.

The best thing that they could do, would be just selling Vini, and finding someone who can fit better, and sell Rodrygo too while at it, if they can do this, sell these two, they can make easily 300 million income. With that amount of money, we could see them do a lot better, because with that kind of money, they could get some super players and could have something much better. Focus on that, and you could get a great return and they could be a better team. But if they sell, and get some shitty players, then it would suck.

Re: I need a trade mentor
by
jaberwock
on 21/07/2025, 06:34:42 UTC
In my opinion, I think is a good idea to have a mentor to teach you more about trading an guide you hope. Searching about trading and trying to learn on Internet, I don't think you can learn everything in the Internet because not everything they will teach you about trading. But if you have mentor that you know and believe that won't run with your funds, and is honest enough with you am sure you will get better understanding then Internet. Leaning through physical explanation is more good then just looking at the smartphone on YouTube trying to learn. Trading is risky and I can says is no for anyone, because is very risky and know one can bear the risks involved. Because they have many traders that have stop trading because of the loses, so they stop and go back to investment.
Not sure, mentors are all different and not all of them are the same. So when you are talking about something, the difference is huge. You need to realize this isn't one of those situations where it's one paint brush all over them. Yes there are people who could be a great mentor to some newbie and he would do a great job, but that doesn't mean that all mentors are great.

Because sometimes there could be some mentor who will teach a horrible job and that would not be easy at all. This is why I believe we can't really make a lot of money based on any of this, and that can't be considered a good thing. So yeah, mentorship is fine, but that doesn't mean all mentors are good, if you can find a good mentor, then you can do a good job.

on 20/07/2025, 14:34:31 UTC
If the bullish push promises to move further buying more btc is ok, but when at the brink, buyers have to wait for the best actions to occur, which can't be predicted.
First of all, the market promises no one. It is just that people are only too assumy. When it comes to buying Bitcoin, we can do this anytime and it is also better to buy at lows than highs.

Now that the price isn't going bearish, whoever wishes to buy can do so, think of people who missed buying at $110k, they've lost some profits.
Thought you said price can't be predicted? But then why say price isn't going bearish anymore? Is it because it is performing well these days? But actually that makes it more prone to corrections

Hence, the question is if the coin would hit 130k before the bear defeats the bull season? And at what price would it rest. Take for instance, bearish time = $100k, the next bull season = $180k the buyer owns much profits afterwards if they don't sell out of fear, if prices slows down to $80-90k
We don't know but we can only wish for it do so because who doesn't like a good increase in the price anyway? Hehe. It is not that the bear defeats the bull but they are only working in a cycle. I don't think $100k is a bearish time but maybe if we are sitting on $150k and above for quite a long time, then that can be considered.

The thing that continues to keep me safe from doing stupid things in gambling, are the stories of others who have did stupid things and the consequences of it.
Great. This is the same to what the OP have said there. Unfortunately it doesn't always the case that happens to others, like for example me. Despite hearing lots of negative stories about gambling, I just can't help but still continue on making the same mistakes. When you are on a climax, it is only easy to forget a lot of things.

The consequences being that they lost not just material possessions but their mental health was in shambles. Anything that can mess with your mental health, messes with your physical health too.
Or we can as well say that anything that messes with our financial or physical possessions, messes with our mental and physical health too.

Betting responsibly is more fun than betting "stupidly".
When you are responsible, you are controlling your urge. Isn't that annoying instead? Let us be honest here but we are only doing it for our own good. It can still make us feel proud when we overcome our urges for those things that are not beneficial for us when overdone. And then, this lets us enjoy our life more outside because we have no problems and we still have a lot of money left.

When Al Hilal had victory against Manchester City ppl accepted SPL's got talent & skills to beat the best teams. European players don't want to play in SPL because they want to make it stronger they're going because they'll get more money.
Who did? That was one game that got lucky, that's it. Put them in UCL and they would not even make it to top 24, let alone to anything further. Just because they got lucky one game, doesn't make them that much better, if anyone assumes Al Hilal is better than City, they do not know of football.

I understand they are not as bad as they used to be, like 10 years ago they were bad, they are now better, but they are not THAT much better, not good enough to compete against European teams. Of course it depends on the European team, like if we are talking about teams outside of top 10 big leagues, then yeah they can easily compete.

Re: Will Bitcoin Hit $500k before the end of the decade as predicted by Jeremie Davi
by
jaberwock
on 19/07/2025, 18:35:09 UTC
There is no doubt that the price of bitcoin will continue to rise and explode in the next 5 years is certain and inevitable, no one denies that. But what we're discussing is whether it can reach $500k before the end of the decade, and to me, that's too big and unrealistic a goal. Where are we going to get trillions of dollars, and specifically $8 trillion, to take bitcoin to $500k? That's not a small amount of money and will be easy to come by even if adoption reaches global levels in the next 5 years.

In my opinion, bitcoin can reach $500k, but it will probably take 10-20 years or more, not the next 5 years.
Can't say "unrealistic", I agree that it is not probable, it is not easy, but "impossible" would be too stretch, it can definitely happen. What we are seeing is already 120k levels give or take, and that means we need go up about 4 times higher, and reaching 4 times higher isn't that impossible. We have about 4-5 years left, and that means at least one more cycle. So whatever peak we reach before this year ends, and then we will crash, and then next bull run, we need to go up some more.

For example, we reached nearly twice as big as last time. So realistic mind would say about 200k to 250k would be smart for the next one, I am one of them, but I would also not say 500k would be unrealistic, it is still on the cards. I hope we are wrong and they are right.

So many lessons that we get from trading but not many of us can learn and solve the problem. Mostly return to trading because of revenge trading which I have experienced many times. It is not easy to manage our emotions after losing in trading. But my friend said that we must quit the market to calm down our emotions.

Well, that is right and I agree with him because if we stay in the market, our mind will think about previous losses and we hardly accept the loss. If we can cut it down by leaving the market, we can refresh our minds and reduce the emotional tension. Once we return to market, we will not rush to enter the market because we will carefully analyze the movement.
Revenge trading is such a toxic concept and our emotions and mind plays a huge role in it. I wish people could learn to make a lot of money by just ignoring previous trades, or just learn from them. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, one of them is not learning from my mistakes.

I didn't do revenge trading, that is different, but I made mistake and lost money and I didn't take a second to see what went wrong and why I made a loss. What made me a better trader was learning to go check what was the issue, the more I researched my mistakes, the less mistakes I started to make and obviously the results followed that as well. That is a very important deal, and we could definitely get a greater result with it without a doubt.

I think that sounds like "if you can't beat them, join them". But, the OP said that he already ignored one before, yet things seems still not easy for him after knowing what have happened later on. Or he can also think positively and say that coins like these won't ever last long enough and we can still earn more on our legit investments. They can give us more comfort or stability. So there is no need to stress our selves on the others.

Sometimes, you're gonna do what you’re gonna do because you’re itching to do it.
It reminds me of another saying "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". I guess we all know what that means? Yes, that is because there are likely a consequences for doing such an action.

Preseason matches are not a determinant of what the new season will look like. We've watched teams playing excellent games during their preseason outing but they fumbled when season starts. Preseason games gives the coach a privilege to test series of formation and their players ability, strength and weakness to know which area needs to be improved and work on before the actual season begins. Young players in the squad are usually given a chance to showcase their talents during preseason. Not only Leverkusen, every team should not be judged by their previous season performance and not even by preseason result.
Mostly preseason matches are having strategically important for coaches and players because here they can work out on their strategy which will help them in regular season with they can check players skills which are also helpful for them in long run.

Now it's going to be limited games because of injuries issues which are preventing coaches from having more time for their main players because recently they are having serious troubles which give them setbacks, and they are feeling pressure about availability of these players in coming season. Upcoming season is having not high hopes for few clubs due to changes but still it's going to be challenging for Bayern Munich to keep their success which will help them for defending their title.

Judging by the news, it's certainly true that the strongest candidate for Osimhen is Galatasaray, which is undoubtedly undeniable. Despite the many rumors, Galatasaray is certainly the most serious about acquiring Osimhen, even if it's in installments. Personally, I'd love for Osimhen to play in the Premier League, like Liverpool or elsewhere, but it depends on how things play out.

I personally believe Osimhen wants to play in the Premier League and certainly wants to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Drogba. Unfortunately, Galatasaray is currently the only one close to Napoli in their pursuit of Osimhen. Fortunately, Galatasaray also has a strong new player, and this will certainly make Osimhen feel at home at Galatasaray, as he has strong friends there. However, it does seem certain that in the UCL next season, Galatasaray has the potential to be a strong and difficult team to beat, given their increasingly strong squad.
From all the news I have seen, Napoli is making it as hard as possible for anyone to get Osimhen. Galatasaray sure wants Osimhen and willing to pay for his salary demands too, and not only that, they offered 75 million to Napoli as well.

Only difference was, they weren't willing to pay 75 million all at once, because they can't, it would be against FFP, so they said, 40 million now, and 35 million in two instalment, so 17.5 next year, and same one year after that. Which means Napoli would still get 75 million, just a bit further apart. Napoli rejected, and I am pretty sure they are just making up stuff now, and I am pretty sure that they are just doing it to piss off Osimhen at this point, they want to ruin his career, president of Napoli just hates Osimhen enough to lose money, just to spite him.
