Apparently, the old team has left the development of the coin (at least one member has, not sure about the others? please post here guys!) and asked if anyone wanted to take the development over.
Well, here I am.

So here is the "short-term roadmap"

I am currently working on the android wallet. The one currently on the play store has quite a few bugs and shares the same package name with coinomi wallet. So if you already have it installed on your phone, you will get error 505 (permission conflict).

I am rebuilding that starting from the source posted here: https://travis-ci.org/c-bit/c-bit
Once that is completed I will work on porting the wallet to Mac (based on the desktop wallet source).
Then we will see where to go.

Just to be very clear: I do not know how much time I can put into this, so the releases will happen "as soon as they are ready".
ANY HELP IS MORE THAN WELCOME.

I'd hate to see this coin die as the project was really interesting.

02. Architecture
This project has developed a marketplace for users to securely buy and sell goods in the internet by having the Cybmall entity as an intermediary on purchases.

2.1 Glodcoin Conversion Process
There is ease in doing business with Glodcoin. By simply scanning the QR code that can be found in Gloidcoins official website, you will be automatically directed to your Ethereum Wallet and signs in to a smart contract blockchain. Under ethereum, you just have to move a minimum of 1 coin to the Cybmall Glodcoin Wallet that is equivalent to 1000 Glodcoins. Simply convert your Glodcoins in your Credit Wallet to start buying or selling items in Cybmall.

2.2 Front-end Design
The front-end design is architectured in a way that it's lightweight, easily scalable, and uses a MVVM architecture (ModelViewViewModel) which makes it quite easy to handle HTML blocks. The progressive javascript framework called VueJS is used to powered this architecture that has an incrementally adoptable ecosystem that scales between its pre-existing libraries, and full-featured framework. The strength of this framework gives developers a leverage to share a single app, router, and store from the global directory to share requests. It creates a factory of functions applicable throughout the architecture. This build is necessary for both client side and server side to synchronize the functions.

Cybmall will adopt Vuetify which has 8 pre-made Vue CLI templates, 3 which are forked from official Vue.js templates, and built on top of VueJS framework. They contain modifications that will help the marketplace get started even faster. A vast community supports Vuetify which makes it a stronger approach in developing this front-end design.

2.3 Back-end Design and Security Level
The back-end design is based on a very strong and optimized Django Python programming Language. This framework can connect to the large number of third party applications that exist, further accelerating an already quick development process. Combining it with REST API will give the Cybmall faster processing of transactions, and the leverage to handle high web traffic.
In terms of security, Django's template system protects the project against the majority of XSS attacks by escaping specific characters that are "dangerous" in HTML. The framework is composed of middleware that passes through several layers making it a secured processes when doing an HTTP Request, and getting the HTTP Response. Any malicious activity is detected in the process, and blocked by its top most security Middleware.

2.4 Server Hosting
The hosting server is built on Amazon Web Server to ensure a scalable environment for the increasing users of the CybMall. It is proven that such architecture is cost effective, and easily manageable as the database increases. Hourly automatic backup is also guaranteed in the process to prevent any loss of data. In phase two, the project aims to apply mirroring on its server to establish local servers in key locations around the globe to avoid any downtime.

2.5 Cybmall Intermediary
Cybmall allows safer payment by securely holding the buyers credit in its Cybmall entity until the terms of sale are met, and the buyer sends the item. It uses an arbiter based system, whereby the arbiter act as trusted third party between the buyer and the merchant for the product in the marketplace.
If the merchant does not ship the goods, then the arbiter refunds the buyer. The feedbacks and star rating system should give a good idea to the seller on the history of the buyer. When a merchant is flagged by the seller for bogus transactions, Cybmall arbitrates and applies necessary penalties to such merchants.

2.6 Chat function
Sellers can directly chat with buyers using the chat function in the marketplace. A project called Django Channels is used in the marketplace which allows Django to support WebSockets in a way thats very similar to traditional HTTP views. Channels also allow for background tasks that run on the same servers as the rest of Django. HTTP requests continue to behave the same as before, but also get routed over channels.

2.7 Virtual Reality
VR devices(such as Oculus, Cardboard, Tango etc) can be used to give an ultimate shopping experience to the users of Cybmall. Unity3D is the platform used to create a 3D map of the marketplace in which all merchant stores are assigned specific coordinates based on their addresses. A user can shop in any city of their choice as they navigate through a dropdown list mapped out by the Cybmall Team. In cases the user does not have a VR device, they can get a similar experience on their browser as the 3D map is accessible on the browser.

Lets say you have 1000 XRP you wish to sell. The market value of 1000 XRP is 1.12925 ETH. However, through our service, you can sell your currency up to 4 times higher its real value. So, you can offer your Ripples, for example, for 3 ETH.

Next, you choose the draw type.

1. The Normal Draw is held anyway at the end of the period you specify. If you set a one-week period, your 1000 XRP will be drawn between all the participants in 7 days exactly, no matter if 3 ETH is collected or not.

2. The Safety Draw is held only if 3 ETH is collected, otherwise, you receive back your XRP while all other participants receive back ETH theyve invested. If you choose the Safety Draw you should pay a small commission fee (e.g. 7% of 1000 XRP, that equals 70 XRP).

The winner is drawn at random through a Smart contract, but you can select the winner choose mode.

Once the draw is over, we transfer the collected ETH to the seller except for a certain commission fee and the won cryptocurrency to the winner.

The draw of Ethereum is held through a Smart contract. This means its absolutely transparent, so you can monitor every step - from the very beginning till the moment the winning is transferred to the winner.

We hold all other cryptocurrencies till the end of the draw; then they are automatically transferred to the winner.

What is Oxid Coin?

   Oxid Coin is decentralized cryptocurrency that utilizes a peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority or banks.

   Oxid Coin is a base to OXIDEX Decentralized Crypto Portal, powered by a network of Miners, Staking Nodes, Masternodes and Supernodes. Miners helped to kick off the blockchain and will be supporting the network until the full Proof-of-Stake (POS) transition. Staking Nodes protect the network via POS mechanism. Masternodes and Supernodes are the backbone to Oxid's network storing and serving the blockchain to the users as well as validating transactions.

   Our goal is to build a Crypto Portal (called OXIDEX) with applications for our users to invest, trade and have a market place to buy and sell goods as well as an escrow service for our user protection.

   As we progress, we will be adding new applications and looking for partnerships, aiming to make a one stop full-service crypto solution.

Masternodes

   Oxid Masternodes are network servers that are constantly connected to the Oxid Network and perform service functions like validating, storing and serving the blockchain to the users. Masternodes are the backbone to the Oxid's network.

   Anyone with 5000 OXID can set up and operate an Oxid Blockchain Masternode, which helps to provide an additional security, reliability, and performance to the blockchain. For their dedicated service Masternodes receive a portion of each mined Oxid block reward.

Supernodes

   Supernodes are a kind of a masternodes which are rewarded a much higher rewards for providing stability and security to the blockchain. Anyone with 25000 OXID can set up and operate a Supernode.

Masternode and Supernode Block Payouts Explained

   There will be only 1 reward per block randomly selected between Masternodes and Supernodes. For example if Masternode is rewarded for a specific block then the total block reward would be POW, POS and Masternode rewards added together. ff Supernode is rewarded for a specific block then the total block reward would be POW, POS and Supernode rewards added together.

   Masternodes and Supernodes have the same probability to receive block reward.
