There are many advertising networks nowadays, so there is still no problem in advertising for ICOs. However I shall also mention that Facebook has already updated its policy and allowed ICO ads again, jus made few rules for advertising

I shall admit that more and more ICOs nowadays are cancelling their projects, or doesn't reach their softcap. But yeah we cannot blame them for not paying if they haven't got money for development. But scam projects really make me angry

There is no one way for finding solution. You can just follow bounty threads on the forum and wait for a good campaign to appear, or (in my opinion) you'd better participate in big ICO project even if they pay with tokens

There are some campaigns wich pay in Ethereum, but is a pricy bounty for the team, each transaction need a commission fee, and still quite og if we have only 100 bounty participants, but imagine the numbers when it comes to thousands. Moreover, theoretically you can get more by having tokens, if ICO was really successful, you have a chance to sell tokens with an incredible price!

You shall understand that airdrop which asks for investing first is usually a scam, also better first study the website, before following any referral link. Just be careful and I'm sure you will be safe from scam airdrops
