Electroneum?

Hey, who has heard anything about Electroneum? From what I can see already they have a solid concept and plenty of perks by which they can benefit not only the user but disadvantaged people too as they seem to have charity as their core which is something that really interests me because of course, I see the whole point of cryptocurrencies, blockchain and decentralised finance as a means by which to help people. As well as this, they have seen some promising growth despite not being a top 100 crypto asset yet based on market cap yet. Does anyone have any experience investing with Electroneum or have any information that might be helpful to me about the project? Get in touch your views, thoughts or experiences as I would love to debate the project and see if there is something I've misunderstood or should know about Electroneum before getting further involved.

Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market?

In a dreaded bear market that's lasts a long time, do you think that stablecoins are the definite solution for preserving one's investments?

So far, there has been a few stablecoins like Tether and NuBits which have gone lower than $1 at rare occasions. For investors depending on stablecoins as safe-haven assets against a bear market, this brings some disappointment. Still, stablecoins are able to retain their value against the USD most of the times. If they remain as is, then one could simply pour money into stablecoins to protect yourself against a long-lasting bear market. If prices for cryptocurrencies on the market go even lower than usual, you can even sell your stablecoins back into crypto to get more coins for your money. But this might turn to be extremely risky in a volatile crypto market.

What are your thoughts? Huh

I agree that is definitely a safe bet, but it is certainly a low-risk, low reward strategy that would only benefit you as a means to guarantee that you don't lose too much of your funds over the course of a bear market. However, to go only stablecoin will probably mean you will miss out on a lot of goods when the market recovers unless you can move your invested funds quickly. I can see why you would think this is a solid option considering the prominence of such coins, specifically Project Libra, but personally, think you are better off such enduring the bear market and staying true to the coins that are prone to market volatility, as while it might not seem like it at the time, these will ultimately pay off better in the long-run. As a middle ground, you are better of just investing in coins that are less volatile but aren't stablecoins to get the best of both worlds. Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin?

The fact that altcoins like ETH, BCH and others are slowly gaining more use has made me thinking. If somebody were to HODL one currency, what could it be?
A 100% altcoin portfolio? Or a 100% bitcoin portfolio?
Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?

What's the opinion on staking alt-coins? I have seen a whole lot of news about staking this year and it looks like the industry norm nowadays. I'm looking to find out the pros and cons of it as I heard there is a lot that can be said about the tokens and cryptocurrencies that use this as opposed to traditional methods. I also heard that more and more exchange platforms are offering it directly via their service and there are more formats by which to get involved than before. It definitely looks like an easy way to build on my existing investments via the rewards that it offers but sometimes I think it sounds too good to be true and there must be some kind of cons to doing so. What do you guys think? Should I start staking or just stick to what I know and invest directly in tokens?

Re: 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Strong Today And Will Continue To Grow

Hello, I was thinking about cashing out but this has made me have second thoughts. How accurate is this information as I cannot see a source? I was thinking of cashing out now at the current prices as I have already made a lot of profit since invested earlier this year. I am cautious though about doing so because as this year proved the market can go either way. Perhaps I should keep half my assets invested and take half out as a precautionary measure until the uncertainty is over. Particularly as Christmas is coming and I need the money.  What do you think? If you agree, I am looking around for the best possible crypto-to-fiats exchange platforms, would anyone know of one that is good for withdrawing a sizeable amount of crypto for a very good pound or euro rate? Please let me know as I was hoping to withdraw some point this week.
