Re: Buy Reddit Upvotes - Upvotes.io
by

I have a question for reddit users. Why don't my submissions show up on the New page? Is there some sort of filter or time frame when posts are shown?

They do have a spam filter designed to detect spam posts. However, legit posts can also be caught by the filter. If minutes go by and your post isn't showing up, it has probably been caught by the filter. This is most likely to occur if you post to a subreddit that you have not participated in before.

Be descriptive and don't be too aggressive in posting your title. Phrases like, "Vote this to spread the word!" or "AMAZING!" tend to annoy most redditors which increases the chances of your post being marked as spam.

Good to see some positive feedback about upvotes.io. I actually tested their service earlier and a big thumbs up!

How long is their turn around time after payment? Did you use Bitcoin? If so, how much is the fee?? TIA

is it a possibility that we might end up getting banned from Reddit because of unusually high  number of upvotes?

I usually choose projects that have relatively high enough ratings in websites such as icobench or icorating.com... then again, I heard that admins or publishers of these sites can be bribed in exchange for good ratings. I even saw firsthand a post here in BCT selling reviews. disgusting...   Embarrassed  Anyway, once Menlo One will launch, it will be much easier and we won't need to do as much research since it's going to be "an all in one" decentralized platform.. this means there no more bribes in exchange for ratings..  link to their site &Whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one/

Yes, many countries have started to draft regulations on ICOs. Hopefully this will help lessen scams. In addition to that, a project called Menlo One is launching its ICO listing marketplace within the year also to help weed out scams and provide legit projects the funds they need. This is their site and whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one/

As an investor,  I care about how solid a project is and whether it has the potential for mass adoption.. During Neo's early stages, I didn't care much about its airdrops or bounties... Same goes for new and upcoming projects I am eyeing such as eloncity, Menlo One, WePower, etc...

The problem right now is that the number of legit projects are overwhelmed by the fake ones. This scenario gives a bad image to the whole ICO industry, creating a stigma to investors that all of the projects are scam or will just turn out as scam. Plus the fact that I think most of the review site out there is corrupted, they tend to give a good review for the right price. There's a new upcoming platform would like to counteract on this things they are called menlo.one I hope they will not turnout as one of them.

I thought this project had already launched last month. What's causing the delay? Was there an announcement about it?

They posted an announcement back in July that they will have to postpone the token sale due to registration requirements of Malta which is taking some time.. I am also following this project and hope that it will have no further delays after this.

Yeah there are plenty of them right now and only few of them succeeds. I think it is because of people being hesitant about the future success of each product. Also some of them ends up as a Scam. BTW, have anyone looked into menlo.one?

I think Menlo One will be one of the best token sales this year. What makes it unique is it's user-friendly UI, decentralized system which cannot be corrupted, and it is pro-innovation focusing on helping other projects that deserve to be funded. Future ICOs are lucky that Menlo One has finally launched since they won't need to spend as much on advertising. Their whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one

It's a good thing Menlo One is at its ICO stage at last.. Once it hits mass adoption, we won't need advertising platforms as much since they already provide easy access and selection of good (and potentially bad)  ICOs. What's great about this project is that it is very transparent since it is decentralized and runs on a proof of reputation algorithm.

Your tips are much appreciated.. Altough we might not need to exert too much effort in doing research soon since a decentralized ICO marketplace called Menlo.one is launching its token sale soon. How is this related to stopping scams? Its CEO, Matt Nolan, mentioned that they have found a way to help with the various issues most investors fear about ICOs. Re: When will ICOs die?
by
jacksonmark30
on 25/06/2018, 13:06:01 UTC
I think ICOs will die if there are only a handful of investors left and the main reason why investors would stop betting on ICOs is because of scams.

That said, I've been eyeing a project called MenloOne for some time now. This project is for a decentralized ICO marketplace where its CEO, Matt Nolan, mentioned that they have found a way to help with the various issues most investors fear about ICOs. Has anyone heard of this project and does their team have a good track record?

A lot of ICOs are pure scam unfortunately

I'm eyeing a sale for Menlo tokens this July since they say it's going to be used for the Menlo One ICO marketplace where retail investors can invest and discuss among themselves which ICOs are potentially fraudulent and which ones deserve funding. They even reward the best legit contributors in the community. Anyone heard of this project and if so, is this legit?

Are ICOs still viable investment options nowadays? I'm looking at Impetus, Aethion, or Menlo tokens, but how do we know which coins have the potential to grow in value?

Can we still make money in ICOs nowadays? I heard that their minimum investment amount isn't so ideal for retail investors who don't have much. I was kinda planning to join upcoming token sales such as Decoin, Menlo One, or Boltcoin. Any of these good choices?

Re: A Guild based system by an ICO????

Menlo.one is just another review site. What's new? We already have icobench.com or icoratings.com for that. And why we would need a token for just a review site?

The thing is it is not just a review site. Its an all-in-one platform which I think new investors can really benefit with it. Lessening the risk of investment and automating it.
ICO token prices will rise if there is adoption and usage, have you ever thought about how much potential adoption and usage is on this platform? their target market is ICO communities that provide reviews, ICO investors, and ICO projects
I think it's not a big market and they have a lot of competitors such as ICOBench, TrackIco, IcoMarks, IcoCrunch, Etc. even their competitors provide free services for reviews, do you think ICO community wants to spend money to buy tokens and use it for an upvote, or downvote?

I think those who wish to upvote/downvote are the people who choose to do so in hopes to monetize their contribution to the community in the future once they have made it to a certain threshold. What's good about it is that people are actually incentivized to stay honest and not cheat or else they get their ranks (or reputation) down to zero.

I think they are aware that ICO investors is not a big market, but they do spend huge amounts on ICOs. What's more is that I don't think ICObench or any other "competitor" offers the same convenience and transparency.

Re: Any good upcoming ICO for 2018 ?
by
jacksonmark30

There are a lot of ICO scams out there. Better off buy them when they hit the exchanges a lot are below their ICO price. It also can be a hit as well.
For now you have to be more careful because the market is going down a lot of people will do it here. Many confused investors are vulnerable to fraud. It's wiser to choose ICO for now and I recommend monitoring the market more for now so you do not get the loss.

This is exactly why I think MenloOne's timing is perfect. Scams are destroying the reputation of good tokens out there which makes investors afraid of joining the next one. With Menlo's Townhall, even new investors can enter without worrying too much because they have an unbiased community which rewards useful posts that are not there for mere hype.

Hi, I have seen your twitter posts your claiming to solve the scaling problem in token economy, how would you do this with the current rate of increasing ICO's nowadays.

I think there are a lot of challenges with ICOs and some worth noting on top of others would be that they are not accessible to all or difficult to participate in, and that reviews about them could be one sided for the purpose of tricking investors into trusting them.

It's really not easy to detect scams/vaporware no matter how much effort we exert in doing our research since sources we read from might be misinformation to begin with. Menlo One's TownHall is a brilliant solution to this problem as it basically incentivices legitimate posts and puts a user's accountability on the line with their "proof of reputation algorithm". Say goodbye to biased reviews!

On top of that, people can easily view all (listed) upcoming ICOs and conveniently participate in them within one platform. Awesome  Cool

Re: why is it important to look at the community before investing in their coin?
by

Looking at the community basically tells a lot about the team behind the coin. Although background checking the team behind the coin should still be prioritized.
