(Actually, this post is to celebrate my ranking up as Jr. Member. Now I can post pictures, hahaha.)
I am visiting Okinawa next week for 4 days. Didn't plan much yet because we prefer traveling chilled and relaxed rather than completing all the sites in hurry. Only booked snorkeling and want to get some ideas from you guys.
Please share with me if you have any suggestions! Restaurant, sites, or any tips will be appreciated.

Kume is the first place to visit when you come to Okinawa, Japan. Kume Island is an island that offers the beauty of white sand with a view that is guaranteed to spoil your eyes. Almost about 90% of this beach is a beach with white sand, especially when viewed in Hate no pests, so far as the eyes only look at the white sand and beauty of the sea that can be seen.
Kume Island is located in approximately 100 km from downtown Okinawa, Naha. To reach this island, there are 6 local flights per day that will serve the Okinawan-Kume route or if you intend to enjoy and explore the beauty of Japan's nan-blue tropical ocean in Okinawa, then you can use the ferry services that operate 2 times a day .

Well, frankly I appreciate whatever the company offers since not all the workplaces provide free food. Being said that, it is my choice whether I am going to eat or not. It will be much nicer fresh fruits are on the table all the time, however, it means that we should have someone taking care of them before going bad. I am not against the idea but just saying that we can't really blame on the company.
I live by myself and often I felt empty even though I am surrounded by good friends and family most of the time. Recently I started to live with a baby cat and she really helps me feel content and relaxed. And the fact that she totally relies on me makes me stay strong and rational. Suggest you trying out living with a pet. It will often make you smile. Cheer up! and wish you the best luck, my friend!
Being physically in the environment where you have no option than using English would be the best, obviously. If you are a student, I would say, save as much as you can for a while and spend a year or two in those countries even it can be a huge investment to you because it will pay off later.
Otherwise, watch a season of your favorite TV show multiple times with English subtitle on. At first, you will have to read the text but, after a few times, you will be able to listen and understand the conversations. Wish you the best luck with your study, mate.

Is it because they cannot understand how tiresome it can be?
I think this must be one of the major reasons. I do dream of traveling a lot whenever I want, however, I do understand it can be extremely tiresome, and eventually, the joy will decrease regardless of the destination.
Perfect life... it must vary per what you truly pursue.
To me, the first thing in life is health; nothing is enjoyable when you are sick and stay on the bed all the time. Second, it is people; family, friends, and colleagues because everything gets less fun when you are doing it alone. Third, obviously, is the stable financial status. I am content with the first two so working hard on the third

If you have/make a hobby, you can socialize with it. Being in a band or doing a team exercise will provide you chances to communicate with others; since you and the peers have the same interest, it will be easier to talk. For example, I often talk and hang out with teammates from my BJJ gym. We mostly talk about BJJ, but in time we have become good friends who sincerely care about each other.
