Mining facility survey , Give what people want!
by
jadrew1020

Hello,

If you have simply a couple of minutes in your day to fill out this survey I would much appreciate it.

This is for market research regarding hosting facilities. Why choose one hosting facility from another. The goal is to find out what people are looking for when it comes to mining farms.

Thank you very much!

How to clone antminers without changing every pool in each miner
by
jadrew1020
on 28/05/2019, 16:06:02 UTC
Hello,

Does anyone know how to clone antminers. I need to setup 1300 antminers and I would like to know how to clone the pool configurations of all the miners at the same time without having to go into each miners ip address and changing the pool configurings.

Big thanks,

Any one know how to fix this issue? my miner does not hash because the control board is unable to communicate with the hashboards. I tried replacing the connection cables from the controle board to the hasboard. (did not work).

I tried new psu (did not work)

I tried changing fans with new ones (did not work)

I tried booting each hashboard separately (did not work)

I tried swtiching to an older version of firmware (did not work)

I tried lastest version of firmware b29+_20181023_130635 (did not work)

Thats pretty everything I tried. If anyone knows how to fix this please help. I have 9 a9zmasters and alot of them have these log errors, they have stopped hashing.

Thanks!

Thats an issue with Dayuns.
Light variant - you have to use a new flash stick 8 Gb and write to it the z1 850/900 Mhz udisk image.
Hard variant - before using new stick you have to rewrite new stock image to mx25 eeprom, which is located on board with h3 allwinner cpu.

Write here, pls, which one is yours.
Hi mikal_akut, glad you could help! how exactly do you rewrite new stock image to mx25 eeprom (also what is the mx25 eeprom)

I have tried to use a flash stick 16Gb and downloaded/burned the z1 850/900 Mhz udisk image. However this does not work??

Can you tell me in a detailed text how to do the hard variant??? I am a noob.

Thanks,

I would also like to add that the lights in the hashboards that usually blink orange when the machine is working are not lighting up anymore. Could this mean the controller board is broken?

Please help. Sad

Did you try to factory reset the miner? There is a small hole for the reset button and hold it for 15 to 20 seconds then release wait for a couple of minutes and try to scan the IP again.

Also, you can check the guide on how to flash this miner to stock firmware check this link https://www.cryptominerbros.com/dayun-zig-z1-firmware-upgrade-guide

Hi crairex20,

Yes I tried to reset the machine by holding the reset button for 15-20 seconds but nothing seems to happen, I am unable to connect to the ip address because it won't show up. (I use my pc that is directly plugged into the rotor so I should be able to see every IP that is connect to my internet/rotor correct)? (I also use advanced ip scanner to search my addresses) I tried burning another flash drive but that did not work for me, maybe I didn't download the correct version. Do you know how to download the stock settings. I simply need to get back onto the original IP address that my machine is on so I can connect to it and update the firmware. Could the machine also have a broken hashboard or maybe a broken controller board?

AFAIK if one board is damaged the other two will still hash unless the controller is damaged.

What happens when you power on? What lights turn on? Can you find your rig on your internet browser and if so what do the System setting say? Is it a new unit or used? How long have you had it and have you mined with it successfully?

If you want help you need to provide as much detail as possible.

Hi GarySeven,

The boards turned out to be faulty, I had to send them back to the manufacturer and replace them with new ones or should I say used ones, Innonsilicon sent me used hashboards as a replacement, what a joke. So much for the guarantee.

I currently have an issue with the Dayun Zig Z1. It has stopped mining and has a red light indication where it is written "firmware". Does anyone know how to fix this issue. I dont have access to its ip address because it won't connect.

Problem with A9 Zmaster not working? NEED HELP PLEASE!

Hi,

I have purchased 9 A9 Zmaster and one of them has to stopped working.

When I plug in the miner everything boots up but after 20 sec the three green lights on the hashboards turnoff and they stayed turned off. I tryed changing the PSU to see if it wasnt the power supply that wasnt working but it still happens to do the same thing. I thing it might be something to do with the main controller board.

Here are some pictures of what my miner looks like when its been on for 5 minutes.  https://ibb.co/pv98M2d https://ibb.co/VgnQ3FB https://ibb.co/VgnQ3FB

dayun Zig Z1 GH/s fluctuation
by
jadrew1020
on 10/10/2018, 19:38:34 UTC
I was wondering if anyone knows the machine enough to tell me why is it there is such fluctuation in the hashrate (GH/s) with the Dayun Zig Z1. I sometimes see my Dayun Zig Z1 is running at 11.56 GH/s and other times it is running at 2.67GH/s.

Does anyone have a valid explanation for this particular issue?

Is it because the machine is mining with the algorithm Lyra2REv2 or does this have no importance as to why this is happening?

If you can kindly explain in detail I am kind of a noob.

Thank you,

Re: Innonsilicon Crashing every 1-2 days
by

Hello,

I have recently purchased Innonsilicon A9 Zmasters, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. The machines are brand new and they seem to crash every 1-2 days, does anyone know what could be the cause of this, at first I thought it could be the pool that keeps going down so I switched to a different pool but the machines still seem to be crashing every 1-2 days. I did some research online and some people say it could be caused by the fan speed readjusting itself all the time.

Here is my miner log history:

It seems to me it runs out of memory! What can i do to fix this. Do I need to change pool or will all pools eventually fill up their log space?

Thanks

Is it crashing completely, meaning that you have to physically unplug it to restart or the web interfaces/ssh remain available?

I don't have to physically restart them it but they restart themselves every 1-2 days what is the reason for this can you help, please.

Hi to all of you guys in this my first message on the forum and sorry for my bad English,

Well, I'm thinking about to buy the Zig Z1 but I'm very afraid of scams and I don't know this miner manofacturer and don't know anyone ho has one. Please, could you give me some information? anyone has bought one? in what store? Any problems with the miner, good or bad quality?

Thanks!!!

Hello Crippt,

I recently purchased a Dayun Zig Z1 from crypto drilling. I was also skeptical at first, I proceeded to the wire transfer and everything worked out. I live in canada quebec and the delivery only took 4 days. Also they have a very fast response when sending emails. I recommend them!

Innonsilicon Crashing every 1-2 days
