Got the refund this morning BEFORE the physical delivery of the B3's (American Customs and UPS are screwing me violently in the arse). Might (doubtful) show up tomorrow.

Ordering in shipments of 2 units each and using DHL, all of my Bitmain orders have made it from HK to VA, USA in 3 days. Even before they gave the form option, you could always specify DHL in the order comments.
Orders of less than $1000 rarely get stopped by US customs. All of mine have been correctly labeled as BITCOIN ASIC COMPUTER for S1 and S3 shipments.

Just something to consider for the future if you're a US customer.

TLDR: Multiple small orders are less likely to get stopped by US customs. Use DHL.

I have an order with 10 S3's, in batch 4 by UPS, coming to stateside. I had made the order due to time pressure, since then I have made dozens of orders with 2 S3's, for the exact reason given by 9600. I will give an update to what happens to my orders.

if so I am fucked  as I will not have internet access until 11am .

It is 21:15 in Beijing. We have 45 minutes to go. My finger is raw from hitting the F5 key last few hours. I have OCD.

I am sure they will still be available at 11AM Eastern Time.

Has anyone got the download address and instructions for a firmware reflash?

Mine shows this error when I want to access the webinterface:

/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:582: bad argument #1 to ´pairs´ (table expected, got nil)
[C]: in function ´pairs´
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:5882: in function `createtree`

It runs stable over 500GH, but I would like to access the webinterface again Wink

I don't know... If it runs stable at over 500GH, I would leave it alone.

However, if you insist:

https://bitmaintech.com/files/download/antMiner_S320140711.bin

Knock yourself out. If something goes wrong, you have been warned!

Of course I am frustrated. How would you feel if you are accused of committing a crime you didn't commit?

These bullies are very unreasonable. They have already come to a conclusion that I am out to scam people. How can I fight them?

You mean seller cannot change prices at all? What kind of world is this??? I gave my reasons for increasing the price, from 0.375 to 0.395 and then finally 0.405. Wow, he really must be scamming, look at the price increase!!!

Order 240 S3's all on my own? 0.725 btc x 240 Units =  174 btc. Why doesn't everyone do it, start their own pool, it's only 174 btc!!!

Thanks to you bullies, I never thought a group buy would have so much pain and heartache.

I agree he sounds slick.

Please make a thread in the scam accusations forum, even if you haven't much evidence yet.

More eyes will be on him that way.

Oh really?

You don't have "much evidence" yet??? You have 0 evidence, you have nothing.

I never thought I'd be famous.

As deleted in the moderated thread....

Self moderated threads shouldn't be allowed in the Group Buy area. A better process needs to be put in place to protect users of the forum.

If the Group Buy seller really had free power, then why sell hosted contracts?  Self mining would greatly outweigh the pain-in-the ass it is to run a group buy.

Note the seller keeps changing the prices in his moderated thread.

You can see his frustration in his last post, as he knows his scam is being exposed.

I CANNOT allow defections from this group buy. There is NO refund. Do NOT even ask.

I INTEND to fight them and win. Stand with me and we shall overcome this adversity. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Bitmain WILL resume sales of S3 soon. Your funds are safe with me. Nothing has changed.

No refunds but your funds are safe with him?  Are you fucking kidding me?

How can you reasonably afford to host at $10/mo for 400W?  Scale that up, that would be $1000 for 40KW (continuous), and you would actually need 48KW of capacity.  It's going to cost more than $1000/mo in cooling alone, much less delivering the power to the miners.  Plus you are looking at needing 2000Sq ft of warehouse to reasonably get enough power and cooling for that much power.

So are you just not thinking it through, or are you going to scam people?

Twisting my words to suit your purpose, now who is the "slick" one?

I placed order in the first 5 minutes of S3 B1 release.
But still waiting for delivery. Look at the below image.
Its not a customs issue but due to the invoice/label/declaration from bitmaintech.
[im]http://s28.postimg.org/r16zd1a25/1111.gif[/img]

I would contact Bitmain that order deserves some compensation.

Yes it deserves compensation! Scheduled Delivery date put on UPS website at first was 19th.
Now the delivery date Scheduled Changed to 24-July-2014 if they could resolve invoice mismatch issue.
Bitmain can you do anything to get me out of this issue?

I will be shocked if Bitamin did anything.

I had an S1 go missing. UPS did their investigation, took about a week or more, issued a claim, basically saying it's lost and gone. Emails between me and Bitmain, back and forth, for about a week, give or take a few days, finally Bitmain decided to ship me a new one. I wanted a refund, as you can understand. No go. I got a replacement S1 and some coupons.

If your S3 is not performing at 440 GHs, may be worth a shot to re-flash it.

Download the firmware here:

https://bitmaintech.com/files/download/antMiner_S320140711.bin

Dude way to go, so simple I should have thought of that instead of playing around with the different freq's. I had one struggling to keep 420 re-flashed and it is pulling between 450 and 460 on the 218 freq. Somebody buy this man a beer.

I am glad it worked for you. I love beer. Send me some.

So, I had the brilliant idea to re-flash the firmware on my low hashing S3. After re-flash, my S3 is now hashing at 442.54 GHs, stock frequecy of 218.75. What the hell?

Need some setup help with networking.

My router is on 192.168.0 instead of the .1

I have an s1 setup on the wifi running fine, but when I try to connect the s3 to the router then try to connect to it with my laptop it won't connect. What should I do?

Easy thing would be to set your laptop ip address to 192.168.1.222 and then connect it directly to the S3.

@daddyfatsax,

"Found out why one of my units was not hashing and having X's on the chips. Paste was everywhere on the inside. Even the screws holding the heat sink on had thermal paste on them."

Are your units hashing without X's now that you cleaned up the paste? Please share more fully.

Bitmain has the first version of S3 firmware on their website now:

https://bitmaintech.com/files/download/antMiner_S320140711.bin

I'm grabbing it, just in case.

If this has been posted here previously, my apologies. They didn't have it yesterday when I looked.
