@goldenfleece

When you repurchase tokens, do you do it across all exchanges, OTC or ...?

Yobit was I think your very first exchange & I have not seen any volumes there lately. Thank you for keeping the Investbox alive there though!

I am getting a fatal error, says
java.lang OutOfMemoryError: Ran out of virtual memory on a 32 bit JVM. either use a 64-bit JVM or *reduce* your heap size.

I understand what it mean in concept, but not how to fix it...Did this JVM came with the HEAT build?

I have:

HEAT 1.0.2
Build: 1485988836

THX!

I don't think it works easily on a 32 bit operating system.  Last person who had the error fixed it by installing a 64-bit OS on their computer.

I do have a 64 bit OS, that is why I am wondering where the 32 bit JVM came from, and what it is to begin with... NVM, a bit of Googling resolved it... needed to install 64 bit Java, was all.

THX though!

Looking up my transaction TO heat ICO, I can see that the BTC came from 4 different addresses.

Do I need to verify all of them, or just the first one?

I understand it is not possible to choose a 'from' address when sending BTC from a core client, how do I make sure the 0.00005 BTC actually goes out from the same address you guys sent it to?

Edit: I see how to do the second thing with "Coin Control."

I hate the ones that open a popup when you first click anywhere on the page, including the address window. Guess what the one on the top of your LTC list did?

There goes you chance with me...

Good luck!

Cystum Status Update

Hello all just stopping in to report the status of Cystum Multipool.  Currently I am in the process of bug testing the stratums and finishing the payout system for the multipool.  There have been many delays with the multipool and I know everyone is eager to use it.  I am here and I am working on it almost every day that I can.  With this being said you can expect to see registrations open up soon (next week) and users will be able to set up their workers and other details.

With the Cystum Multipool opening soon I am putting together a document for a fund raiser we will be running either through startjoin or gofundme (or any other if someone has a better preference) to raise some money for Cystum.  I'm looking to do 3 rounds of fund raising with 2 of those rounds being used for hardware to be purchased for the Cystum.  The Cystum team is going to use those funds to purchase ASICS and some GPU's for mining the Cystum pool.  The plan is to give out shares to the donors based on the amount they donated.  These shares then would be used to determine how much of (x)coin each donor receives from the coins mined by the ASICS and GPU's purchased. Your next question I'm sure is: Will we be able to buy and sell cystum shares? Yes!  Now I know there will be many more questions about the shares and I will provide the answers in the document I am writing.

You can always make it an asset on NXT Asset Exchange... Just saying, but I think there is a pace for a product like yours there right now :-).

I will take a look at the NXT asset exchange.  I have to work out some more details on the Cystum Shares.  As of currently I need to have control over the shares to know who has what in order to make payouts to the share holders from the Cystum Multipool.  I know there are ways around this and I'm looking in to them but as for now I'm going to use the shares exclusively on Cystum Multipool.  Shares will not be able to be mined.

The dividend payout is literally one-click with the Dividend+ part of the Supernet GUI. You just put in the total sum that you want to pay out, it will calculate who gets how much based on their share count & sends it out as one transaction. The issuer account gets no dividends. The only problem is the dividends would be in NXT... kind of a problem, but maybe SLG could be made to work with InstandDex (upcoming in a matter of weeks I think) or Coinomat that would then do the exchange... Yeah, I can see this getting a bit complicated until Supernet 1.0 gets released. That should work as a multi-coin wallet with instant decentralized exchange so people would get NXT dividends in & SLG out... or do it with any other included coin.

Sorry, did not mean to hijack the thread, I am done ranting now. :-) I just believe in good crypto working together... complementing each other, is it were.

Hi Sterlingcoin.

It's not like I am greedy or anything, but does the max payout/hour comes to 0.02 Satoshi? Maybe I just miscounted my zeroes? In other words, how many payouts does it take to get one SLG?

I understand the faucet's chief purpose it to promote the coin and get a few out to people who want to try it out. Then how many faucet payouts do I need to cover a transaction fee? :-)

Thanks and keep up the good work!

im far from a pro I started with dogecoin last December and worked my way from there

I have learned a lot and lost more

crypto is a constant learning curve due to its constant development

glad I was able to help  people tonight with the knowledge I have learned over the last ** months

made 7 btc since I started and that is from nothing (I mined doge to get my first coins)

lost 5 btc on coinex(bastards)

hope things go better in my second year

Holy crap- I think you're my twin! Ha- your story sounds exactly like mine, except I never mined any coins. Sure would like to, but I don't want to build a 3rd rig.s

There is really no need to build a special rig for mining if you just want to give it a try. This app actually gives pretty decent returns, better than Eobot, at least (don't be fooled by the low hashrate shown):

Or you can always just go for Hashlets :-)

You should consider creating a system that would allow Sterling users to buy with SLG at any store accepting Bitcoin. I may be wrong, but this may help with adoption. Just throwing this out there. Should probably have to do something like automatic exchange for BTC behind the scenes on some exchange.

Duly noted and the team will discuss this.

Vericoin has something like that, it's called Veribit... Used it one time to buy cloud Khash directly for VRC...

What a scam! I want MY 50 SLG RIGHT NOW, so I can dump them immediately!  Wink

Seriously, that was a great idea to slow down the spacedrop! Hopefully the buy power picks up soon.

Face it, a lot of people will just dump, why not, if they are not invested in this particular coin.

Care to elaborate why did you choose this particular number (50 people/h*24*50SLG = 60 000 coins/day)?

Last 24 hour Bittrex volume was about 30 000+, with about 60% price drop.

I understand we are just at the beginning (I did say 'we'!), the spacedrop will probably go on for another 8-10 days or so, before the scarcity factor will start to play a role and push the price back up. Unless the buy power tips it, or the spacedrop requests fall off, I don't think the latter will happen.

Thank you for all the effort you guys put in!

What's up with this having to register somewhere to download the wallet? Hate it when people make me create all kinds of accounts I don't want and never use again...

Seriously, can't you guys put it on your own website? It would at least drive your traffic, give you more visits if nothing else!

BTW I assume it is pointless to register since no release yet?

Thumbs up for the amount of work that that you put in pre-launch, BTW, just keep it up!

That Doesn't sound Veri Democratic.

More coins = more votes. Humm!!

Why so? People who were putting more in the fund are risking more then people who didnt.
I think thats a good incentive for people to send vrc into the fund.
I.e. it would suck if a troll that has no vrc in the fund would have as much votingpower as me who put thousands of vrc in there... tbh that would be not veri democratic ughs

Aren't you confusing "Democratic" with "fair"?

For every community member to have a vote, regardless of riches (contributions), that is democratic.

For the community members that contributed more to have a weighted vote (and for the troll to have no vote), that may be fair. :-)

Just my 2 vericents.
