Re: When Bitcoin dominance falls Isn't it common for altcoins to rise?
by
jaocoincrypto18
on 24/01/2021, 12:08:07 UTC
Everyone says and believes that when Bitcoin drops you buy Altcoins cheap then when the Bitcoin rises your Altcoins rises as well, so it is just playing with the roller coater ride. So more the BTC will continue to grow more the Alt’s will be growing, but this is purely a speculation, it may not happen - that is the funniest part about cryptos.

Re: Will Tether go into crisis like XRP?
by

While it is true that they are being prosecuted in the court of law for alleged market manipulation, hard evidence is yet to be presented. Therefore, all the accusations that have been submitted thus far, hold no ground as they are of purely speculative nature. There is no denying that there are scenario that’s been circling around for quite some time that Bitfinex influenced BTC price by printing USDT, in collaboration with Tether, that wasn’t backed. Until there are new witnesses or some sort of proof, the trial will remain stagnant.

Re: How bad will the bear market of 2021 get? How low will BTC go?
by
jaocoincrypto18

Bitcoin will possibly reach $50,000 by the end of 2021 simply because it is the start of blockchain revolution. Like the internet of the 90s, we are barely scratching the surface of decentralized apps. Blockchain’s decentralization is the next evolution to centralized compute, storage and applications. And because Bitcoin is the first and will always hold value for crypto enthusiast, it will become a store of value and increase more and more in value due to the supply diminishing.

Re: XRP SEC lawsuit complaint

Bitcoin is the first iteration of a decentralized digital currency that was created on a blockchain and long legal in the USA as it is recognized as a crypto currency. If XRP is deemed a security instead of a cryptocurrency in the US it cannot be used for cross-border payments where the United States is involved. I wouldn't say this kills the project, but it would cripple it in a major way because the United States is a major business partner everywhere in the world.

Putting an expiry date in currency notes will not be of too much help in to hold back the black money as the cash (currency notes) which is obtained by any person without declaring it to government is usually converted into other form by investing it in gold, precious stones, real estate, foreign currency, foreign investment and etc.

Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011?

Even though I knew about Bitcoin as something there I didn’t knew its characteristics nor I knew how money actually works. There is nothing to regret with for not buying something when you did not knew about it overall. But at one point in time I learned about its characteristics, understood its value, and learned how money actually works. This made me go to exchanges to buy Bitcoin and get involve in this investment.

Re: who believes that the price of BTC high next month?
by

By the end of this calendar year, Bitcoin will be trading around $ 40k to $50K. There will be a significant amount of volatility before Bitcoin actually hits those levels. It seems like, many of the investors, as well as cryptocurrency enthusiasts, are actually positive about Bitcoin in this very year. The problem is that with a significant fall already seen, most of the retail investors are not pumping money into Bitcoin. This is the reason why the movement is not that strong currently when it comes to Bitcoins.

Many people who trade cryptocurrencies, have never traded before. Combining negative news, with the fact that tax season is coming and institutional investors/high net worth individuals are claiming their losses to offset capital gains taxation—you create mass hysteria for the not so seasoned investors that make up the vast majority of the cryptocurrency market. One thing I want to reiterate, this is completely normal.

Re: Will Biden raise the federal minimum wage from 7.25 USD per hour to 15 USD?
by
jaocoincrypto18
on 22/01/2021, 08:19:22 UTC
The sudden increase in wages may cause demand and supply shock and people won't be willing to do business if they aren't making enough profits.

If a country wants to shine then they need to support the entrepreneurs as well as the workers. So increasing the profits making opportunities to the owners should be done first before increasing the wages or else it will end up in a mess.

Well, Promises are just promises for the political leaders so don't have hope that will become true. Cheesy

Small companies have a smaller margin. Many of them simply cannot afford to absorb the impact of high minimum wages. In fact there are small business owners out there who if they hire full time workers at 15 dollars an hour those workers will actually make more money than the owner. The other said that if the government raises minimum wage too much he will shut down his cleaning business and apply for work at a larger company. But then of course he will then have to compete with hundreds of other unemployed people.

Re: What altcoins will do best in 2021?
by
jaocoincrypto18
on 22/01/2021, 05:34:54 UTC
For me it will be Ethereum as it currently sitting at a market cap of over $132 Billion and a price of $1.2K as of January 2020. It enables the use of smart contracts that are executed after the right conditions are met and allows developers to create decentralized applications with no central point of failure. Ethereum 2.0 is an serenity upgrade that aims to bring beacon chains, Sharding, and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) to the Ethereum blockchain. Such changes will improve the speed and efficiency and also allow investors to stake their holdings and earn well.

Re: Etherum overtake bitcoin marketcap?
by
jaocoincrypto18
on 22/01/2021, 03:34:09 UTC
How long until this happens?

The difference is in the way they are adopted. Bitcoin is individuals using & holding BTC, Ethereum adoption is about companies building DApps into the ecosystem, which is currently limited by the scaling etc of Ethereum. In order for Ethereum to get a higher market cap than Bitcoin it first has to fix the scalability issues it keeps hitting & the changing fees. Without that, companies will turn to alternatives or create their own code-base forks of the protocol to just run their services.

Data privacy act is a law that required to make our details private and safe but in talking of crypto currency there is a regulation that required us to give our details ensuring that we are all legal persons thru the name of KYC or know your costumer. With these scenarios in which we will joining the crypto investment that KYC is required but we are in doubt then the most safest way is to ensure that the project is legit to prevent our data of being stolen.

I don't think so that Bitcoin would be a world power. What if one day that Bitcoin will not back up by dollar and other fiat anymore? Can be Bitcoin will still that strong and will exist with the kind of power that you are claiming? For me, nothing can replace the fiat as the world power as it can buy most everything in this world and Bitcoin is just hiding in the shadow of it.

I just keep on holding and preparing to sell until the I thought dip will reach and break my set up support price of $30,000 but it did not happen therefore my previous earnings are going back again. Bitcoin is hard to predict therefore if I just can see the future then I will surely buy more but I don't have the skill so I missed it too.

Re: I have never seen this in crypto space before
by

that's why all of emirex bounty participants never able to withdraw their money. The team was putting non-sense fees and this has been discussed in the emirex announcement thread and you should come there and you will be seeing a bunch of complaints from the hunters. This exchange site was a scam exchange site.

This exchange issue is the same with Midex exchange who later gone and disappear with our deposited cryptos including our Midex token. I lost some coins to it and never get them back so hopefully this is not a scam exchange but I think it will lost credibility after this OP and every one will choose to withdraw even it will cost them 50/50.

Hopefully this year because Bitcoin is now very expensive to purchase for an investment. I believe that most of the small time investors will now slowly will shift to Altcoins because it is much cheaper to purchase and these small time investors are the majority of the crypto environment.

I think it's unfair to the Ethereum if those Altcoins that under ERC20 smart contracts will just put the blame if their tokens are missed up because there are none ERC20 tokens are also suffering the same market performance. Also there are still some ERC20 tokens that gained overtime in the market so for me its not about the smart contracts but it will depend  of the reliability of their plarform and their team members.

You have a point of view regarding ICOs and maybe these are the reasons that many new crypto projects are in difficult to fine investors today but not all of them are having this kind of issues because there are still few ICOs with unique platform are still existing in the market. Although its really difficult to find a good one today but its worth it if you will just study and review well the concept of the project.

Re: Price of BTC might go down
by
jaocoincrypto18

This is possible if 50% of Bitcoin holders are Big whales in which they can manipulate the market anytime but I don't see it that way that Big whales is in control right now because there are lot of new business magnets that are now buying Bitcoins so for me the price will just go down because of the corrections which is necessary to maintain the balance in crypto market.
