I'd say more con's at this point with the difficultly rising and the price on the decline. Perhapse when winter comes not needing a heater can be a pro.

It's amusing the tertiary benefits that come from overclocking silicon. From a cryptocurrency generator, into rudimentary heat. Mazlowe must be spinning in his grave seeing the pyramid of human needs flipping over and over.

My test system only puts out about 17Mhs and slush pays about every one and one third days (1 1/3). I think you will be looking at a week to 10 days.

Agreed, it is all proportional to the solve rate and your personal contribution.

What prevents people from winning easy by running a card counter while playing?

Same way as Vegas - More than 4 decks. You cannot count those, especially with a reshuffle with minimum 20% cards left.

It is also worth investigating using castor oil or mineral oils with immersion circulators for cooling. It has been proven (messy) albeit successful in the cooling communities due to its' non-conductive nature.
