What do I think? I think its pretty amazing that you got an AI-written article into Forbes magazine. Congratulations!  Cheesy

Man, their quality control over there is slacking.

Go ahead and try it out for yourself:

To be fair, it appears as if some or even most of the article was written without AI. But several of your previous articles contain language that is a dead giveaway for being AI written.

english isn't my first language, that's why I use AI to rephrase my sentences and correct my mistakes.
I don't understand why the ai score is that high tho.

We have bitcoin haters and critics that have said bitcoin is contributing to global warming. They do not like to talk about industries and how some countries are generating their energy from fossil fuel which is the main source of the global warming.

Since 2020, 75% of the energy bitcoin mining consumes are from renewable energies, but as mining moved to Kazakhstan that depend on more fossil fuel, this could have been reduced. But still more than 50% of the energy that bitcoin mining still consume are from renewable energy.

It has becoming a time that some mining companies are using waste product of crude oil refineries for generating energy, what would have been burned as a flare before. Bitcoin is also helping to make the waste products to be useful.

Some people are still talking about global warming, it is real and the world is becoming hotter, but not because of bitcoin mining or bitcoin generally but because of other human activities.

If there is no bitcoin, there will still be global warming.

the article covers those topics...

Forbes - Everything You Need To Know About Bitcoin And The Environment

Bitcoin, the world's first decentralized digital currency, has been embroiled in a persistent debate regarding its environmental footprint. However, it is crucial to clarify that energy usage does not inherently lead to environmental harm. According to the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, bitcoin's annual energy consumption amounts to a substantial 129.45 TWh, comparable to that of entire countries. Yet, this comparison often leads to misunderstandings about the true nature of bitcoin's environmental impact.

In fact, the CCAF has determined that the bitcoin industry uses a significant amount of renewable energy, sometimes more than half, depending on the jurisdiction. This is a testament to the industry's commitment to sustainability and its potential role in the green revolution.

Furthermore, it's a common trend for technologies to start off with a high level of inefficiency, including a larger emissions footprint. Over time, these technologies evolve and become more efficient, reducing their environmental impact. This pattern is evident in various technologies, such as solar power or EV's, which initially had a higher emissions output that has been progressively reduced.

Bhutan's Secret Crypto Investments: A Game-Changing Strategy for Small Nations?

Source of this article: https://www.jbgsmining.com/en/post/bhutan-s-secret-crypto-investments-a-game-changing-strategy-for-small-nations

The Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, known for its Gross National Happiness Index and largely agriculture-based economy, has been secretly investing millions of dollars in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The investments were revealed through the bankruptcy filings of crypto lenders BlockFi and Celsius. This revelation raises questions about the reclusive nation's relationship to the turbulent crypto economy and could indicate a game-changing strategy for smaller nations seeking to gain an edge in the financial world.

According to court documents, Bhutan's $2.9 billion sovereign investment arm, Druk Holding & Investments, was a customer of BlockFi and Celsius, which it never publicly disclosed. In recent months, Druk withdrew over $65 million and deposited nearly $18 million in digital assets through Celsius. While the source and purpose of these funds remain unknown, these investments seem like a curious move for a holding company focused on promoting domestic ventures.

This secretive crypto investment could indicate a game-changing strategy for smaller nations. It seems to follow a game theoretical point of view where smaller nations and companies are the first to adopt cryptocurrencies, eventually leading to larger nations and corporations following suit. If Druk is indeed a sovereign wealth fund, it would be the first to directly own cryptocurrency, setting a precedent for other nations to follow.

The kingdom of Bhutan has shown interest in the crypto world, hosting a panel of blockchain advocates in 2020 and working with Ripple to pilot a central bank digital currency in 2021. These partnerships suggest that the nation sees potential benefits in embracing the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

Bhutan's undisclosed investments in cryptocurrencies could represent a new financial strategy for small nations looking to compete in the global economy. By embracing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, Bhutan is following a game theoretical approach, where smaller nations and companies adopt new technologies before larger ones. As more countries and institutions recognize the potential benefits of cryptocurrencies, the trend could ultimately lead to widespread adoption and significant changes to the global financial landscape.

TL;DR:

Bhutan has been secretly investing millions of dollars in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, revealed through the bankruptcy filings of BlockFi and Celsius.

These investments could indicate a game-changing strategy for small nations, following a game theoretical point where smaller nations and companies adopt cryptocurrencies before larger ones.

Bhutan has shown interest in the crypto world, partnering with Ripple for a central bank digital currency pilot program and hosting blockchain advocates in 2020.

This trend could ultimately lead to widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies and significant changes to the global financial landscape.

Re: Passive Income through Bitcoin Mining - An Attractive Investment Opportunity?
by
jbgsmininggmbh
on 26/04/2023, 14:01:17 UTC
Hey sorry for the late reply.

Here are the answers to the questions:

Mining Hosting FAQ

1. is there insurance for the mining equipment?
USA: Yes, for a fee of USD 25 per device per year (policies are readily available)
Russia (Northern Europe and Asia): No, but armed security and 24/7 staff, alarm systems and camera surveillance.
Venezuela: Insurance coverage in organisation (available in approx. 4-8 weeks)

2. how is the mining equipment secured?
All sites: camera surveillance
Russia: additional alarm system and armed guard service
Venezuela: 24/7 guard service on site

3. where exactly are the machines located?
5 locations in Venezuela
2 locations in Russia (Krasnoyarsk and Karelia)
2 locations in the USA (North Carolina and Pennsylvania)
1 location in Paraguay
*Exact addresses will only be provided after signature and payment for security reasons.

4. How are the miners air-conditioned?
All sites use an air-cooling system to cool the miners.

5. Is there remote maintenance and can I change my pool?
Customers can monitor and control the miners in the pool account. If changes are required, our remote tech team is happy to help and usually implements changes within a few hours. A ticket system will be introduced soon.

6. which pool do you use and do you have access to the coins?
We use the mining pool viaBTC.com. We do not have access to coins at any time.

7. what happens if a miner is defective?
If a miner is defective within the warranty period (usually 12 months), we automatically take care of the repair process with the manufacturer. However, if a miner fails outside the manufacturer's warranty, the device is first examined in one of our repair centres to identify the fault. Afterwards, customers receive a cost estimate for the repair, which they can agree to. (Depending on the fault, this costs between USD 100-600.

8. Can I see photos or videos of the installation?
We can provide photos upon request.

9. who is the owner of the miners?
From the fulfilment of the purchase contract, the customers become the legal owners of the mining hardware, and this status remains regardless of the hosting partner.

On the subject of the insolvency of our partner Bitkern:
Bitkern has been successfully active as a service provider in the field of crypto mining worldwide for over 6 years. For security reasons, the Bitkern group consists of several companies, so in the unlikely event that one of the companies goes bankrupt, Bitkern will continue to be fully functional.

In the event of insolvency, we would offer various options in consultation with clients, such as shipping the miners to another of our facilities, selling the miners on behalf of the client, or shipping the equipment to the client or another desired location. In theory, there is no loss to the client, only lost profits from Bitcoins not being mined during this time.

On the subject of sending miners there: Is possible, but only if the minimum order quantity of 10-20 (depending on location and model) is reached.

I hope this clarifies all questions.

Have a nice day Smiley

Venezuela: Versicherungsdeckung in Organisation ( Verfügbar in ca. 4-8 Wochen)

2. Wie sind die Mining Geräte gesichert?
Alle Standorte: Kameraüberwachung
Russland: zusätzlich Alarmsystem und bewaffneter Wachdienst
Venezuela: 24/7 Wachdienst vor Ort

3. Wo stehen die Geräte genau?
5 Standorte in Venezuela
2 Standorte in Russland (Krasnojarsk und Karelia)
2 Standorte in den USA (North Carolina und Pennsylvania)
1 Standort in Paraguay

For such projects, the country must train specialists. They had to recruit a group of students and send them to study in other countries, so that after a few years they would come back and do their projects on the territory of CAR.
This approach of governance is similar to the fact that the country is run by brainless economists. The economy is not bitcoin, you need to build factories and enterprises, because of the cheap labor force, make competitive products. And from the fact that you allow cryptocurrencies, nothing will change. Maybe life in developed or tourist countries will be a plus.

I totally get where you're coming from. It's clear that just adopting Bitcoin as legal tender won't magically solve all the economic problems in CAR. Building a strong economy takes a lot more than that, like investing in education, setting up factories, and taking advantage of the local workforce.

That said, cryptocurrencies can still be a useful piece of the puzzle. They can help bring in foreign investments, make international trade easier, and even inspire technological advances. And on top of that bring in more tourists...

Just to be clear though,  Yan Swan is trying to debunked the myth that "Bitcoin has no use case".

He laid down a lot of it in this twitter in which the OP has try to summarized it in his blog. So he is not that anti Bitcoin.

And even “Bitcoin has no use except for speculation by tech bros”, that's already a use case isn't it, you speculate on the price and see if you can make money out or it or not. The problem is that when people losing money, they blame the market itself and think that it is being manipulated by some big entities and that is the reason why they lose, Lol.

this. Thank you sir.

Adopting Bitcoin is not as easy as some might think. It needs an appropriate economic, legal and infrastructure environment. There are many things that any country needs to succeed in adopting Bitcoin. It is not just a decision that is issued and it is over.

If only 10% of the population has access to the Internet, how can this adoption work? Bitcoin is a virtual currency that works only on the Internet, and without the presence of the Internet and the appropriate infrastructure, this cannot work.

The main problem is that some countries (especially the poor ones) think that adopting Bitcoin is a solution to their economic problems, and this is not true.

You are absolutely right. I think they initially did this as a form of good publicity so the public forgets about their problems.

Hello guys I wrote this article. Read it here for better formatting:
https://www.jbgsmining.com/en/post/central-african-republic-drops-bitcoin-as-legal-tender

In April 2022, the Central African Republic (CAR) introduced Bitcoin as legal tender, aiming to position itself as one of the "bravest and most visionary countries in the world." However, just one year later, the country has reversed its decision and passed a new law restricting the use of cryptocurrencies once again.

The CAR is one of the poorest countries in the world, struggling with numerous challenges such as political instability, crumbling infrastructure, and food shortages. Nevertheless, last year, the country decided to introduce Bitcoin as legal tender, following El Salvador as the second nation to take this bold step. However, the move generated little interest as most business owners preferred to focus on improving infrastructure and security.

From the very beginning, the introduction of Bitcoin as legal tender was met with skepticism, not least because of the CAR's close ties with Russia and suspicions that the use of cryptocurrencies could serve to circumvent sanctions. Additionally, the United Nations warned that cryptocurrencies in developing countries could be associated with high risks and costs.
Now, the Central African Republic has reversed its decision and repealed the original law. Instead, a new law has been enacted, designating Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as reference values that citizens can voluntarily use or accept as payment.

The failure of the Bitcoin project in the CAR can be attributed primarily to the country's economic situation and lack of development. From the outset of the Bitcoin introduction, there were strong doubts about the project's success, as only about ten percent of the population had access to the internet. Furthermore, the promised economic benefits never materialized, and planned projects like building a Bitcoin city or launching their own cryptocurrency stalled.
