Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin
by

on 04/10/2018, 08:17:13 UTC
Many people express different types of bitcoin. Someone says Bitcoin is not a currency. Again someone says that Bitcoin is only a bubble, it will never be universally recognized. Some countries have banned Bitcoins so that illegal activities will not be increased in the country. Because some of time bitcoin use for terror works. Some people say that investment in bitcoin is not profitable. There are some other such complaints about Bitcoin.

But the funny thing is that even though there are so many complaints, Bitcoin has become popular all day around the world. I think we need to change our mind about bitcoin's. Cool

Really, people's complaints about Bitcoin are correct?

i think people are not familiar about the bitcoin, they can say what ever they want because they don't know about bitcoin, try to lear about bitcoin so that you can see the advantage of bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin and Taxes

The IRS currently considers cryptocurrency to be property. But that doesn’t mean one should avoid reporting gains. The agency has always been more lenient on taxpayers and investors who jump the gun in this regard. Coming forward sooner rather than later can help prevent stricter penalties or fines because of non-reporting.
https://usethebitcoin.com/understanding-bitcoin-and-taxes/

Do we really need to reveal how many bitcoins we have? What are your thoughts on this? Bitcoin as a decentralized system should be tax free. Does this defeat the purpose of the invention? To avoid the centralized system as well as those huge taxes?  Grin

i don't think bitcoin is a tax.if that so,then this is an asset or if bitcoin is tax then they are using it to purchase tax on the countries using bitcoin,if that's happen may of the people ar using this as a currency of as a payment method.

Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?

i think bitcoin can't ruin the country, but because bitcoin can give opportunities to people,if the country make legalized the bitcoin payback the country using pay the tax,so that you can continue use the bitcoin and of course the country can benefit by the tax payer

Re: Should we pay taxes on Bitcoin?
by
jbjoyce
on 14/09/2018, 01:16:16 UTC
Bitcoin was created to liberate us from corrupt governments and corporations that serve their own needs. The coinbase transaction in the genesis block, mined by Satoshi Nakamoto contained: "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for bank". What is your opinion on paying taxes on Bitcoin? The government most likely doesn't know my bitcoin address. Even if they do find it, based on the transactions made from my bank account to exchanges, I could simply say someone stole the private key from me. Many of the posts here asking for help on filing taxes on their Bitcoin make no sense to me. We have a system that allows complete financial freedom and yet people choose to pay their taxes from it and support crooked governments.

We should pay our taxes if this is required to pay,we need to pay tax because this is our obligation, taxes is for the government, for the street children, public hospital and public school for the poor people who can't afford the private hospital and school, taxes is for the progress of our country.

Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.

it's normal for the market to be in downtrend.not all the time the market is in the highest price and we experience the low market price.all we need to do is to support the community and wait until it's going to be normal

Re: People are not motivated by money.
by

I always hear the argument for capitalism "B bb BUT people won't innovate without the profit motive" WRONG

Humans want to solve problems, create, and innovate, they do not need money to motivate them.  Cavemen were painting art 20,000 years ago without the desire of money.

True scientists like Tesla, he didn't care about money it was about the pursuit of science.

Capitalism does not cause innovation, most new technology is found by government programs like nasa (internet, smartphones, etc)

Money is the number one needs of people, other people disgusting by the money, that's why they can easy to motivate the people by some good explanation but you need the big amount or capital of money

Re: They want you to panic :->
by
jbjoyce
on 11/09/2018, 07:08:02 UTC
When the price of a commodity drop with no reason, you should know that it is being manipulated. The reasons for this is quite simple, because a lot of people know this is a fake crash and they are going to make millions, when other people start to panic and start selling their coins at these low prices.

The secret to maximize your profits in this game is to buy coins at the lowest price possible and then again to sell at the highest price possible.

What do you do if people are hoarding their coins and refuse to sell? You simulate a fake crash by stockpiling your coins over a long period and then dumping those coins at once to trigger a small crash. You then buy back these coins at a lower price than what you bought them and wait for the market to recover.

This is what is happening now, because there is NO reason for this sudden drop in the price? Hold onto those coins as long as you can, because these greedy bastards will manipulate the markets to cause chaos and panic.

you can't blame those people, but first of course you should know about the reason for dropping the price,if there is no reason think about it that there is something wrong, you should know that is manipulated.,all we can do is to be patience until the price goes up

Re: Prevention is better than a cure. Please escrow.
by

on 11/09/2018, 06:32:39 UTC
In these times of Mass scammers out there, I urge people to use an escrow. There are many good members out there willing to help to secure the bitcoin community, There are also more people willing to do anything to scam you out of your coins, Please just do your research on someone before you part with your hard earned coins.

An escrow list - Last update 9-5-18

Note to mod, I know this is in the wrong section as I am not selling anything, I feel we all need to be wiser, People in the selling forums are less likely to look elsewhere for information on what this is and how it is acheved,
Even if a few people read this and use escrow, Or a few scammers don't get their coins, I will consider this a good job.
Please consider not moveing out the way, This needs to be addressed.

** jan 16

There is a new wave of possible scammers, People who buy up legendary accounts and trade untill they have large sum of money then run, This has been done with a very trusted account recently.

Please be cautious, I am trying to set up a 3 way secure key escrow for my personal escrows to add peace of mind.

I would like to point out, that I do not partake in escrowing forum accounts, I never have and never will, in fact its against the rules on my forum, This is a trust based commodity as it stands, if we keep moving the goal posts as well as the stadium, no one can be accountable for theft!

Keep safe people, dont give up, trust in BTC, suspect people :-)

** April 17

please watch out for fake accounts made to look like hero/legendary escrow accounts, check the join date and the letters of the name exatly! some use numerical 0 instead of alphabetical O, and please watch out for sold accounts! this forum allows selling of any account, so make it difficult to know who's still real, I do not allow selling of accounts on my forum  Roll Eyes

this is good to everyone, but being scammed is a choice so be observant to everyone and to people who are horrible,be wise so that you can avoid those scammer

Re: Why do Atheists Hate Religion?
by
jbjoyce
on 10/09/2018, 02:31:21 UTC
So I see 2 threads of why islam hates people or why people hate Islam. I dont see the point of such a mundane debate based on religion any debate for or against religion would be stupid. Either you are stupid to believe what a prophet / god / divine entity said or you are stupid enough to believe you can change the minds of the bleak minded people who follow such a prophet / god / divine entity.

But since its fun let me initiate my own brand of 'why do' topic.

WHY DO ATHEISTS (like me) HATE RELIGION ?

Seriously what has to happen in a person's life for them to seriously give up hope on the one true everlasting brand (of religion) which their ancestors have followed for generations.

Everyone has their own story even I have mine, so lets hear some of it.

they hate's religions because they're disbelieves of the existence of god's,i think they believe that religious people they never see or touch god, they have a saying that to see is to believe, atheists they never see god that's why they hate the religion

Re: The difference between science and religion
by
jbjoyce
on 10/09/2018, 02:24:00 UTC
If you took all the religions in the world and destroyed them, in 1000 years there would be entirely new religions, completely different from the old religions...

If you took all the science in the world and destroyed it... in 1000 years there would be EXACTLY THE SAME SCIENCE

Mathematics is not something invented by humans, it is discovered by humans... mathematics is the same in any language, on any planet... 1 + 1 = 2 is a provable concept and does not change based on societal norms or which deities they currently worship

Newton and Leibniz are credited with the co-discovery of calculus... they did not invent it, they both discovered it at the same time... math/science is universal, religion is not

i never arguing about the religion, if you have faith with your religion you never change what they believe,it's the same with science they can discover many element in this world what they experiment they can believe in this

Re: Does it matter if politicians have affairs?
by
jbjoyce
on 10/09/2018, 02:10:55 UTC
It looks as if we have another sex allegation in the UK, and they always seem to surface just before a politician is likely to run for office, and the "establishment" doesn't like him ( or her ) for some reason. My personal view is that it doesn't matter, and I would rather have someone with some spirit who believes in his country, than the treasonous wet dishrags who sell out the birthrights of their voters. They don't seem to have enough red blood to maintain an adult relationship, and they seem to end up with rumours of paedophilia.

People are so prissy about sex and politicians. I think it was Gerald Ford who caused a scandal when his wife commented on the large bed that he had moved into the White House. She stated that he was still an active man, and that was his wife speaking. What did they want - some drooling dotard that was past it.

Sir Ralph Halpern ( the former chairman of The Burton Group) had an affair with a topless model, and she is reputed to have said that they had sex five times a night. Sir Ralph had masterminded the recovery of the Burton group, and many considered it to be a basket case. The shareholders supported him, and the share price went up after the disclosure. Lets have some politicians like this who can orchestrate a national recovery, and not just sell of off the national assets to the bankers to buy re-election from the stupid voters.

I think it is also a problem but not that big issue, if you are a good leader then don't make any problem that destroy/questioning being a leader. I know that everybody make a mistake and i know no body's perfect but you know what is right and wrong, people choose you being a leader because they know that you can handle the country.,

Re: Financial Crisis Will Come
by
jbjoyce
on 06/09/2018, 08:12:12 UTC
Establishment commentators tend to blame every financial crisis on the "bad luck" of a whole host of factors coming together to create a "perfect storm."  What they "forget" is that the incentives of the modern system always drive the elites themselves to destabilize their own system.  Not sometimes.  Not most of the time.  Always.

They will say that the 2007-8 crisis was a combination of the US banking deregulation of the 90s, the US political agenda of moving poor people into home ownership, the poor financial oversight by the George W. Bush administration, the 'global savings glut,' the existence of a shadow banking system in the US, the loose monetary policy in the aftermath of the dot com bust, etc. etc.  All true.  What they forget to mention is that, if it were not these factors, there would be others (stock buybacks anyone?)  If it hadn't happened in 2007-8, it would have been later.

Only looking at the top of the world system, ie Britain in the 19th century and the US later, we can see that:

- There was a financial crisis in Britain roughly every 10 years from 1810 to the 1860s.

- The British Empire bought itself a couple decades by making gold the only money, and not silver.  (Thereby making itself rich at the expense of silver countries -- not unlike what the US might be doing with crypto-currencies today.)  But in 1890 a financial crisis in London made it necessary for the Bank of England to be bailed out by gold from other central banks, the first time in history.

- Soon after world-leader status was moved to the US, in 1929-31, the Great Depression started with a series of financial crises.

- Though the bloodshed of World War II bought a few decades of stability under the US, it was forced to renounce its promise to allow foreign governments to redeem every $35 for an ounce of gold, in 1971.

- The 1970s global crisis of confidence in the dollar forced the US to pay 20% interest on 30-year Treasuries by about 1980.

- The US stock market crashed in 2000.  By 2002, the NASDAQ had lost 78% of its value at the peak.

- The entire world system teetered on the brink of collapse in 2008.

Remember that, we're only talking about the top of the world system, which is the most stable, by design.  (Paper pound sterling in the 19th century and dollars in the 20th were the world's top reserve currencies of their day.  Every effort is made to make other countries fail first -- e.g. the emerging markets crisis of today helps protect the value of US money and debt.)  Further down the ladder, there were many more crises, plus conflicts and wars.

So the long view reveals the truth.  And the truth is that you can't escape the perverse incentives that make individual members of the elites want to profit or prop up the system today by storing up even more trouble for future elites.  These incentives come directly from the system's core nature of theft and deception.

If we listen to mainstream economists, the reason for recurring crises is that, for some reason, people just want to keep losing money.  They keep chasing risky assets whose high values have nothing to do with being propped up by state-bank-elites.  Right.

This system also punishes prudent people who put the most trust in its promises and its official narratives.  But we have a long-term defense: buy gold, silver, and Bitcoin!

not only investment with big amount will save you!but to keep your extra money for your other needs, you can also have a bank account for the safety of your money

Re: Is wallet security important to use?
by
jbjoyce
on 06/09/2018, 07:25:06 UTC
I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.
Learn more please learn how to secure your wallet here: http://bitcoin.org/en/secure-your-wallet

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?
Your Knowledge and Ideas will be more helpful if shared.

YES IT IS IMPORTANT,BUT I DO NOT THINK THAT THERE IS A SECURITY SYSTEM.YOU CAN KEEP OR SECURE YOUR OWN WAY
