It looks like that facebook nowadays is the only one where they are saying something.

So, who believes that it was a power outage? (rather than the RPi freezing, something that everyone in the BJ thread complains of?)

I'm surprised the have a presence anywhere where people are able to leave comments...

So which three of these addressess should I send my Certified letters to?

HashFast Technologies, Inc.
97 South Second Street #175
San Jose, 95113 United States

HashFast Technologies LLC
649 Mission Street 5th Floor
San Francisco, CA 90291
USA

HashFast Technologies LLC (“HashFast”)
100 Bush Street, Suite 650
San Francisco, California 94104, United States

They sure do seem to be moving a lot...

Surprisingly enough, I went online and looked at my fedex tracking info for the San Jose address and it was delivered and signed for by a J. Kodama.  I don't know whether this means that it was actually delivered to Hashfast.  I also fedexed my notice to the Bush St. address yesterday.  I'll check a little later today to see if it was delivered and post.

Guys/Gals...don't forget (if you have access to one) to also fax in your notification of breach of contract/order cancellation/full BTC refund.  They list two numbers...both indicate they belong to scamfast.  I faxed mine to the 415 number and it appeared to go through successfully.  If you don't know already, these numbers (also listed in their refund & release form they emailed yesterday) are:

1-888-508-0811
1-415-481-0888

Your amount of refund will be the same as the USD amount shown below and in your order confirmation.  Our products were purchased based on the purchase price stated in USD.  We accepted payment in Bitcoin and other currencies as a convenience to our customers.  For the great majority of our Batch 1 customers, we never received Bitcoin, but instead received USD from our payment processor, BitPay, and used the money to pay our suppliers and costs.   Most early customers received a preferable exchange rate that reduced our revenue by 8%-10%.  We also have customers that have paid in Bitcoin when the exchange rate was far higher than it is today, so our approach to providing refunds in USD is not a policy designed only to benefit us.

Didn't they provide a bitcoin address for some customers to send direct bitcoin payments not using BitPay? cedivad (or others who will sue their asses) don't forget to tell that to a judge. I don't know how many paid using BitPay, but i'm sure that not all batch 1 customers did it.

I sent my entire payment to: 1B3FHM4Ax5BFuRidKBcfURfMaPBEDMDvQ8
Is there a way to know whether these BTC were eventually cashed out through bitpay?

In other news: It appears my refund request by certified mail has bounced. "undeliverable"
Can this thread now officially be renamed as SCAM
That wasn't either of the two addresses I had for them. The two I had were:

and

Obviously, this is important for people trying to send in order cancellation and refund notices.  I fedexed my cancellation to the San Jose address...is that the one people think is most likely to be received?

Get this though...I called the support telephone number listed on their site and asked the farmed-out support guy for their corporate mailing address.  He told me that he couldn't give me their mailing address...that he would take down my email address and pass a note on to them.  Are you fucking kidding me?  And it isn't listed on their web page...is that even legal (not that any of the other shit they have done is legal)?  Wow...what a bunch of total assholes...before I just wanted my money back...now I'm looking forward to this lawsuit and to inflicting as much damage to them as possible.

Upvoted.

As a B1 BJ purchaser, I've been quietly reading/watching all this and WOW...what a train wreck of a company they seem to be running.  It's like they've authorized every employee to take whatever measures they think will work best with no coordination whatsoever.  Tweets that indicate units are shipping and then an email that says they're not.  A new lawyer acquisition that drafts an agreement that is clearly aimed at intimidation and covering of huge mistakes of which parts are clearly illegal/overstepping...and then can't even get the wording right...don't worry, you can be guaranteed that we will get out the word on the underhanded business practices engaged in by HF, you don't need to legally require us to do so...wow, how humiliating. And then there is this CL jackass that thinks that pointing his finger and screaming about a couple of speculative statements is going to distract anyone.  Here's a bit of advice...follow the lead your company has set over the past few months, go into hiding...on that note I also seriously suggest you update your résumé.

HF, common, you can make this right.  You can do something.  As perezoso out it, this siege mentality is going to end up turning on you.  We have already gotten the word out and those that go into arbitration will not stop (great job getting the story out, cedivad).  You hired a cadre of jackasses...you just forgot to hire a competent business strategist that will help you out of this mess you've lied your way into.  Think about it...we could be total converts...and we would.

That's awesome...excuse my French, but fuck those douchebags.  Even if I never see a dime they stole from me, I'd like nothing more than to know they have been repeatedly assraped in prison.

By the way, make sure that the login and password you all have used for this site are not used at any other sites that these thieves might be able to commandeer...

We'll...some more bad news, comrades.  I just sent an email to grouphashing@gmail.com and I received a failure of delivery notice back.  I don't see how their servers being down could be related to a returned email to a gmail address...my fear is that this is pretty strong evidence we have been screwed.  I'm very sorry to all they have suckered in...I've lost 3 large on these fucktards (I was naive enough to have signed up for both a 2 and a 1 mH/s contract).  In the end, they're not just fucking us...they're fucking other legitimate future hosting ventures.  When they themselves get fucked in the future...as Team America so eloquently put it, all assholes eventually get fucked...I hope they think of us.  I'll repost in the event a miracle takes place and a payout occurs.

Not really, it looks to be pretty standard.  Grouphashing people, if you are reading this and are legit...and you should be reading it given the unverifiable nature of your service...then I hope you realize that if you aren't on time with your first payouts, you should expect a shitstorm of negative comments immediately after missing them, regardless of any excuses you might have for being late.  If you are on time, you can expect praise...and if you aren't legit then, of course, fuck you...I hope you die of a horrible disease.  It's all in your hands now...

I purchased a 1 mH/s mining contract on 11/28/13 and so my 2 week payout is scheduled for this coming Thursday (12/12/13).  I will post at the end of the day whether I have received my payout as well as the payout amount and I encourage anyone else who has purchased a contract to also post when/if they receive a payout and the amount, if that is a kosher thing to request.  I think their current/future customers have the right to know what they are getting into and how well their service actually performs if they decide to purchase a contract should they be available, as they are now.  My suspicion that, if I do end up receiving a payout, it will likely be only a fraction of what one would expect under 100% uptime of their rigs...uptime was not mentioned in the contract (although vague lawyer speak in their TOS/TAC, as usual, absolves them from a number of obligations) and I hope this extremely long outage isn't going to be commonplace throughout the life of the contract but we'll see.  They say that they're posting details of their moving of facilities on their blog but I have not been able to find their blog anywhere.
