Re: [ANN]ChronoLogic - Proof-of-Time token on Ethereum

Why are people not dumping it today?

That's a miracle...

man you can't talk about pump or dump with a daily volume of 30k$... ICO investors just don't trade it on daily it's easier to hold it right now. You will see after the minting period how huge it will become

Maybe that has been done now and all weak hands are out from this journey. But when time of the rise will reach they will regret for it I think so crypto is not an easy task for short term investors.

I wouldn't count on it, not yet that is... for an average timemint owner that hasn't bought or sold since the start to get out completely and get their original ether back, the price needs to go 0.019 to 0.02 ETH, which translates to around $25 to $26 per DAY token (assuming today's ether price at $1313).
I'm not saying it's impossible, but if it ever comes close to breaking even, there will be dumps i think. Unless the chronos platform turns out to be something the market has been waiting for combined with news about partnerships with banks or some large institutions or something... but realistically we know that's probably not going to happen.

I was gonna say with current eth price, break even point for us (morons) would be 27-28$. Call it an even 30$.

invested in Chronologic arnd same time as substratum. only difference, invested 5eth into this one and not the others. Would be laughing right now, if my hard earned 5eth was in Sub. Hopefully chronologic will prove me wrong one day:( Still havent sold any DAYs yet.

3 Months in...if a share of company were to drop 75% with the first 3 months, you would definitely get a few visits from door kickers....

(if you dont like the project, GTFO comment, keep it for yourself, I do believe they have a great idea that's why I have been in since the beginning but they haven't kept their promises. Or give me my 5eth and I would be more than happy to GTFO)

Partner, support and LAUNCH 6 proof-of-time projects. (roadmap for 2017, 3 days left better get on that promise ASAP)

Got in with day trading profit anyways. We can only  hope for the best, I guess.

Seems like the OP is not very active on the forum. Lot of good questions without answer! Project idea looks promising and i think there is a demand for it. I think we will have to wait and see for this one.

well really donno what to say! What a loss.

Thank you nevertheless for sharing your story with us, it will just make us more cautious. Recently started moving funds from exchanges and keep them in secure wallets. I think it's a practice that everyone should do. Proper wallet not jack of all trade wallet aka Exodus.

Don't quit, learn from your mistakes. Like some other people mentioned get your basic security into place.

Good luck

Re: many ICO altcoin , What can be trusted?

Rule #1: Invest only what you can afford to lose.
Rule #2: Never forget about rule number 1 (cuz if you start losing and dont remind yourself about rule #1, you will get into depression real fast and it will kill you inside out)

Crap out of the way. Do your own research as other people suggested. Don't put your money into something just cuz someone told you to do so.

High reward comes with high risk aka ICO and altcoin. I wouldnt call all of them scam, there are many reasons why ICOs and altcoin might not end of being successful. 90% of the startups FAILS these are no different.

trust? it's mainly opinion based when it comes to alt and icos.

"I know this x guy personally a great guy, he is a great CEO. I trust him. He wants to go to Mars in 5 years that's what he is trying to sell" I trust the guy but iffy abt the product. You get the point. The only outcome is going to be opinion based. If the product does get some success, it wont be an ICO anymore....it's a gamble at the end of the day.
To my mind you start wrongly from your first rule. Investing of money that we can afford to lose means no important profit unless you are a billionaire and number of such people is very low. ICO is mostly for normal investors, for people who can risk more than they can't afford to lose.
That's why investors need to know details and try their max to choose right and trustwortht ico.
I do have to disagree with your mind in that case. I am not a billionaire, i invested a few bucks into ICO but i wont invest my life saving on it!! Nothing is stopping normal people from investing into ICOs but dont get carried away if you dont make anything out of it. We are not investing into ICO or startups for our mom and pups 1-5% annual return are we? There are high risks involved cuz we want a lucrative return. My 100$ can turn into 1000$or even 10k? Hei if I lose my 100$ i wont lose my sleep!

On the other hand if you go all in with your saving, you lose all your 100k retirement saving dont come on forum and cry about it. We will get the rule#1 on your face.

Back to question number #1 What can be trusted?

NOTHING can nor should be trusted, approach everything single ALT or ICO with a grain of salt! Point Finale

Re: New To mining

Dear,

I was trading Coins since some time ago and I want now to get into mining, so I was reading some tutorial from here and there, and I'm feeling lost, so please I want to get an orientation from you guys,

My questions are :

1) Which better coin to mine now, I read that ETH is the best right now, is it?
2) I am planing to make a rig of 6 GPU, so which graphical card should I get, taking in consideration that the electricity is very cheap for me Smiley
3) If there are any tutorial to help, I will be grateful

Thanks

Even before you get into mining, read this forum as much as you can. Then you need to mention you budget or plan how much you want to put in.

https://blockoperations.com/6-gpu-mining-rig-amd-rx580-intel-lga-1151-ethereum-zcash/

very detailed mining setup. easy to follow.

About mining coins. Mine something that you are willing to hold for a while, unless you absolutely need money then use whattomine.com and mine whatever is profitable.

good luck

Sure hope so:)

BUT i doubt it. I got into crypto this year bought abt 350$ CAD worth of Ether from coinbase. I think it was somewhere around 27. At the peak even i were to hold some and sell them at 400$ I would have my 10000$ BUT our little brains don't work like that.

Don't get me wrong, for sure there will be people out there with 10000$ portfolio will be millionaire. I think most of us will sell out before we get there cuz of fear of losing it all or we will try to leap frog: 'Oh let me just sell now and will buy it when it gets low again'.

Anyways planning on getting to 5 bitcoin and lock that shit up in a deposit box for 10 years. Retire early:)

Sounds like a plan to me.

Good luck to ya all!

P.S.: Don't be me and sell out too early. Patience is a virtue.
