Thank you, Khaled, that makes great sense! Yes, it is frustrating when software upgrades have too many new features to learn.

Thank, HPC (and others) - I was able to edit one of the pending payments as you said, set the fee, sign and broadcast. The coins are showing in my receiving wallet with one confirmation and Electrum History finally shows the transaction, albeit unconfirmed but it is there! After two very frustrating days, this is a great relief  Grin

Thank you. By removing the transaction, do you mean delete the Pending in the Outgoing Payments tab under Send? I fear this will cause a loss of funds.

Pending vs Unconfirmed Electrum 4.0.2

Using Electrum 4.0.2 I accidentally sent coins without a fee to another wallet of mine. Now that transaction is showing as Pending underneath the Send tab in the Outgoing Payments section. RBF is does not seem to be available as there is no transaction for this request showing in History and when I double click the date section where it says Pending, nothing happens. The coins are still sitting in my Electrum wallet and there are 0 transactions recorded on Blockchain.info so my question is this: if the transaction never gets confirmed and drops out of the mempool, will Pending change to something else, i.e. unconfirmed or unsuccessful, thereby allowing me to resent the transactions with the appropriate fees?

Also, do all transactions have to have a signature? What happens if they don't?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Re: electrum 4.0.2 update check says latest version is 3.3.8

I downloaded the new version of Electrum (4.0.2) but forgot to choose/add mining fees when I sent coin to another wallet I have. Now the transaction is in Pending and has been for over half a day. The coin is still showing in my Electrum wallet but I am not sure how - or if - I should reverse/cancel and resend it with fees. What happens if I delete the pending transaction and try again? There are no confirmations showing for the transaction on blockchain.info which makes me wary. The network light is green and I did download from the correct website. I ticked Use Replace-by-Free under Preferences. In version 3.3.8 I knew how to set the mining fee but in this new version it has a new feature - Pay - which is what confused me.

Hi All. I just want to make sure that the url stated in this thread is still the true one for the authentic Bitcoin Blender site. I had registered on a different url site but when the link to DeepDotWeb stopped working today I became suspicious and found this thread with an alternative url. Although everything corresponds between Blender's comments and the site/url I have now signed up for, some extra reassurance would be great (recently got scammed by a fake tumbling service and can't afford to have that happen again!). Thanks in advance for any assistance!

...

It has been a while since I checked out this thread, but it looks like Fog has actually improved their service to just plain old bad from absolutely horrible.  At least they are sending to some of the folks up-thread.  Even if it takes days, but that might be better in some ways (delay helps obscure BTC transfers).

Still, I would think bitmixer.io's TOR service should be better, but I have only used their service "in the clear".

You are the only person I can find in this forum that has logged in recently. Can you give me any idea of what my chances are of getting the BTC I transferred back out of this service? Most people here seem to have lost their BTC but a few got it back. I fear I am not going to be one of those lucky ones but any further info you can provide would be most helpful. Thanks!

Can anyone give me an idea of turnaround time on this service? I haven't even seen the deposit into the wallet assigned to me as yet - and it's been 4 days!! I tried to message the person on here who seems to be from this service but he is not taking messages from Newbies and none of the messages I sent to Support have been answered - I don't even know where I would read them! I'm wonder now if there is any hope of getting my BTC back... Any advise etc. would be very much appreciated. Thanks! (I have been watching/tracking the transactions on blockchain info and it looks like funds are going back into the initial wallet (then out again) but still nothing on the actual site when I log in...)  Angry
