All good and sound advice, and heeded (hence-forth). The multibit is just finishing its syncing.. If it isn't showing I am using your link and trying that route directly.  I'll update this thread directly, but it may be ?? a bit.. depending on that download, sync, etc.  If you'd be so kind as to check back at your convenience I'd be greatly appreciative, of course.

Well.  I don't know what I am missing as to why it doesn't show in my mSIGNA wallet at all..?  And I did go through the Multibit import process, and it said "confirmed" and "syncing" but is still at 0.00BTC.  I'll try again.  I must be missing a critical step...?  ugh, growing pains.

Firstly, thank you for your time and expertise.
Secondly, I found that exact advise and followed instructions, but to no avail. In the section where you are to enter the pass phrase, it won't except it with the (mSIGNA) typed in.  But with the entire pass phrase, and without the (mSIGNA) it says "verified" and then syncs.. BUt shows up as 0.00BTC after it all.  ANd the BTC still show as unspent outputs.  I'll go through your q's one at a time, and send this in the meantime.  TY again!

Yes.  This was the first transaction I attempted (ever) using bitcoin.. So, in mSIGNA I opened one vault and created one "receive" transaction, and one keychain.  I still see the keychain code and did write down the words-pass phrase. Yes.

Retrieving unspent bitcoins from the blockchain

I read reviews and good things about mSIGNA wallets.  I wasn't aware of the complexity of using one.  I procured some bitcoins off of the localbits trade market and from there attempted to send them to my new mSIGNA wallet.  I used the mSIGNA address that the mSIGNA recieve transaction produced, but they did not arrive.  A while later I realized that my wallet was not communicating to the network, and that was likely the reason that the transaction was not successful.  I've since learned how to gain a localhub network access for the wallet, but the transaction remains unspent on the block board.  How can I retrieve these bitcoins?  I do have the pass words and keychain, etc.  Please help.
