Re: Why everyone becoming the holder?
by

I believe when your coin have lost so much value as a result of a bear market then you won't have any other option left than to hold the coin because selling the coin will mean you have actually lost, So I believe most people are holding this bear market because the coin they are holding have lost huge value so there is no point selling it rather to hold it until the market recovers.

Re: A man in UAE took six figure loan and lost 85% of his crypto value
by

What a moron.

The first rule of any investment, particularly crypto, is to only invest what you can afford to lose. A loan, by definition, is not money you can afford to lose.

I won't really blame the man, if he had succeeded with the move, probably people will be praising him by now, I recall beginning of this year, there were a lot of high hopes that crypto would worth trillions of thousands and that this year will be best year for cryptos, everybody was investing hoping this year will be great, but it didn't work as planned, so it's not really his fault, he took a risk but it didn't work out for him.

Re: Now time to buy and hold altocoin?

Sure now is a very good time to buy, considering the market since the beginning of the year, the market has lost so much value and I think we might be at the bottom at the moment and bottom is a good place to buy altcoins because from there it will grow and make profit, though no one knows for sure, the best thing to do is to invest what you can afford to lose at the moment, don't invest all your money hoping the market will increase, it could still go side ways.

by

At the moment i using the sell at high and buy at dip tactics, what i normally do is that i reserve some money so when i sell my tokens, then when the market starts going down, I will buy more tokens, I will keep buying until the market increases again, I will sell off to make some profit, it which i will hold and wait for the next market dip.

Re: Is bounty profitable?

I believe the story will be the same for almost every bounty hunter, I don't think any bounty hunter would claim to have made so much like last year, but the reason why it is like this is because we are in a bear market, when the bear market is over and bull run comes, you will see how those tokens will increase in value, just be patient

Re: What are you doing with your bounty tokens?
by

I will say before i use to hold my bounty tokens, hoping the price will increase so much and make some good X but since the bear market started, I don't hold my bounty tokens anymore rather, i trade my bounty tokens, I will sell it off and buy it back when the price dump much and so far it's been a good experience for me

If you understand how these things works from behind the scene, you will notice that most times issues arise within the app, as days goes by app's are been upgraded to add more features or to upgrade user experience or fixing some vulnerabilities on the app, most time when these update are been applied it cause some issues which is normally rectified almost immediately, But i think recently I have not had any issues using MEW

Re: HODL is the only policy.
by
jefcasidy
on 25/10/2018, 12:36:11 UTC
For me I am no longer applying the HODL policy in some of my tokens, I am applying sell off and buy at dip again, since the beginning of this year the market has been going down and selling and buying it back is what i think is a good policy for now, HODL is good when market is making progress.

Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop?
by
jefcasidy
on 25/10/2018, 12:33:06 UTC
My first experience was not that good because I waste much time hunting for airdrops and at the end of the day, for over 100 airdrops I joined, about 50+ paid and other didn't pay, so that paid turn out to be scam and currently the wallet i used to collect all these airdrops is worth $17+ and i feel i wasted my time for it, so right now i am not into airdrop anymore.

Re: What happened to ETH?
by
jefcasidy
on 25/10/2018, 12:20:33 UTC
So many things leads to the down fall of eth price but one of them is that the demand for eth got less in the market and there was a huge supply of eth, since the bear market started, people stop investing in ICO and ICO team that have raised huge eth were selling off to raise money and it got to a point where sellers are lowering their price to sell off which makes the price to go down

Don't you think the one world currency is already formed and existing? Don't you think bitcoin could be the one world currency we are hoping and expecting? the misery behind the bitcoin makes me think bitcoin might the one crypto currency the whole world would later adopt in the future. just my opinion.

Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies?

When the last year bull run was happening my friends believed in cryptos and most of them left their job to focus on cryptos but since the bear market started and eat dip into their asset, most of them thinks it's a scam now, But I keep telling them that things will still improve that patience is required. A lot of people have lost hope in cryptos already.

⭐ Merited by ndico (1)
Gone are the days when white paper and concept are the criteria for choosing bounty / ICO, the rate of scam in the space is so much that scammers can make a wonderful white paper with a beautiful concept but once they collect investors funds, they will do exist scam, so these days, I normally join bounty through managers, there are some managers that have build good reputation in the forum and they engage with these ICO team very well to make sure that they are not scam before running their bounty.

Re: Should I invest to Bitcoin or Ethereum?
by
jefcasidy
on 19/10/2018, 21:28:01 UTC
First you need to identify what's driving the both coin price high, eth price normally go high when much people are doing their ICO and crowd funding, currently the ICO is no longer booming and that's explain the more reason why the price is down and it's not going up as much, In terms of investing, I will advice investing in the both coins would make a lot more sense since you never the one that will go up so high.

Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin?

Two things makes me trust a new coin, the number one thing is the team, I will check the team that is handling the project, If they are solid team and the product they are building is a unique product which will have a utility in their platform then I will trust the new coin.

Re: ICO Reviews, trust them or NOT?
by

on 18/10/2018, 11:06:53 UTC
There are some people I can easily trust their ICO reviews because they have build reputation for themselves over years and there are people who i don't trust their ICO reviews especially most of the ICO rating sites, most of those sites review is bias and incentive. So I don't trust most them and most of the I trust.

In as much as I won't use crypto my full time job, I won't advise or encourage anyone to use crypto as their full time job, crypto is so volatility and been so volatility, you can't really depend on it because anything can happen, So i will advise people to get a job and use crypto as a side work, you can spend few hours per day doing cryptos.

Re: Is product important for a project?
by
jefcasidy
on 18/10/2018, 10:59:16 UTC
In as much as product is important for a project, but it depends on the type of product, I think the product that will give investors more confidence is a product that already some partnership, building a product is one thing and people making use of the product is another, so building a product doesn't guaranty anything except the product already have some people using the product.
