[WTS] 3x S5, S4, SP20E with PSUs
by

on 26/09/2016, 23:52:00 UTC
Getting rid of my mining gear located in the CA, US and am only shipping to the lower 48.  It's been a while since I've checked prices so just make an offer on what you want, priority will be given to buyers who want more items or want both the miner with the PSU.  Send offers via PM.  All miners have been kept in a datacenter and are hashing within spec.  Escrow through OGNasty if you want, buyer pays.

3x Antminer S5, one needs to be reset about once every 10 days because it stops hashing at full rate
3X Dell 2850 PSU with breakout boards and a set of 4 PCI-E cables (12 cables total)

1x Spondoolies SP20E, I run it at 1.4T to save power
1x HP Common Slot 1200W PSU with breakout board and a set of 4 PCI-E cables

1x Antminer S4

I am looking to buy a pair of Antminer S4 rack mount ears, perhaps you have some that you aren't using?  I am located in the US.  $5 should be enough to cover shipping?

Re: US Bitcoin Debit Card Options

I also have the Wagecan debit card and it works.  Some may consider the loading fees a bit high, but to me it's easier than trading on LBC.  Their transaction history on their website only updates once per week as well so you have to keep a mental note of your balance (though you can check it for free at any Mastercard ATM).

A few months ago I looked into the Bit-x card, but when I checked you cannot get raise your account to the basic verification level in the US which limits your total transactions per year to 250 euro.

to OmegaStarScream: This limitation is imposed by our bank.
We can do nothing about it unfortunately.

Residents from the following countries may order cards, but may not raise card limits to level 2: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Cambodia, Ecuador, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Namibia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Uganda, United States and Minor Outlying Islands, Yemen, Zimbabwe.
May I know why we can't rise limits on the following countries please ? I'am from Algeria  Cry

Just so I'm reading it correctly, does level 2 refer to "basic verification" or "approved by partner bank" when referencing the debit card limits?

It refers to basic verification.

That's what I feared, thanks for confirming.

Re: 2015 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews

I just received my wagecan debit card a few days ago and I have to say that so far its been great. I have used it at Walgreens and at a few restaurants so far without any issues. It is pretty convenient now that I can just transfer my bitcoins directly to the btc address on the card. It also states that loading the card may take 2 business days , but my deposit cleared in less than 12 hrs.

This is the only card I have currently so I cannot say if its better or worse than anything else out there, but just wanted to share my experience with it so far.

Let us know if it gets rejected anywhere! I'm still on the fence about getting a bitcoin debit card. I heard the the Xapo card gets rejected at certain locations.

I just got my wagecan debit card and loaded some BTC to it.  Did you receive an email confirmation after the funds cleared?  I wish I could check the balance via website or mobile app.

does the corsair need to be plugged in a mother board to work or only electricity? what is the consumption of kWh for one month of this psu for an antminer S3?
what is your electricity bill in one moth for an antminer S3 for this psu corsair 50 $?
have been mining but psu was consuming more money than mining...
thanks to confirm

these are all things you can figure out in about 10 minutes of googletime

or you could probably ask the people in mining

Sorry tarzan2, I forgot to set notifications for thread replies so I just saw your message.  I got a PM for the Corsair the other day and it is gone so I guess it worked out for the both of us.  Inventory has been updated.

I have some PSUs and cables for sale, I figure I won't be tempted to buy more miners if I get rid of these PSUs  Smiley.  I am a newer member on this forum but can provide a reference on another forum or ebay if that helps.  Escrow is welcome through OGNasty or Tomoatocage, you arrange and pay.  All prices are OBO shipped to the lower 48, will not ship outside the US.

SOLD $50 - Corsair CX750M - only two PCIE cables (4 connections total) are included, perfect for an underclocked SP20, S5, or S3

SOLD $70 - Coolermaster G750M - brand new and factory sealed

SOLD $10 - 4x 16AWG PCIE cables 24" long

Just because I am curious, what's driving the rental price up these days on Westhash? Any insights to offer?

I'd also like to know =)

Thanks everyone for the advice.  I will definitely take the risk of charge back  into consideration and may still end up trading a low amount that I am ok with losing if it came down to it.

Selling BTC for Paypal received as Goods/Services

Mod:  Please move this if I posted to the wrong sub forum.

I'm new to BTC and see a good number of ads on LBC for people buying BTC for Paypal (sent as payment for goods/services) at slightly higher than market rate.  How much risk is associated with this?  Some of these sellers have 100% feedback and 1k+ confirmed trades.

I am aware of the whole charge back issue with Paypal MC cards purchased with CC.  Does the same principle apply here?

i get alot of rejects from this pool, like 10%

i dunno if its connection or what.

Is it just on discus fish or is it with other pools too?

no its just this pool, but i did try to ping it from the miner and i get 800+ ping..
so maybe its just a bad route.

Actually I've noticed my reject rate is 1-2% whereas for other pools, it is always less than 1%.  My ping is about 275ms so I think geographical location does play a factor.  As a point of comparison, my ping to westhash is about 20ms.

i like the new stats chart, but it would be nice if you added an avg payrate and a avg % above or below the payline to it.

that way i can click on say 1d and see what my avg payout was and my % above or below the payline was.

Agreed, definitely an improvement.  Now if only the demand for hash would drive prices up a little  Smiley

The luck lately is starting to get brutal.  I sure hope another good block party is about to happen to make up for it!

Hopefully this means the party has started.

So what's stopping someone from renting at Nicehash now at 0.0096 and pointing a bunch of hash to Discus Fish to get paid out at 0.01013357?  Granted the difference is pretty small, but it is profit nonetheless right?

I do point some of my hash there and think of it as getting consistent payouts at 96% luck with PPLNS.
