Liqui rep here at bitcointalk last online date was September 2017. They also don’t reply to support tickets at all.

I have a bitcoin withdrawal that was stuck in “processing” status for two weeks now. I hope I can still get it. 🤦‍♀️

Re: Its that time again, what altcoin are you holding at a loss?
by
jehzlau
on 30/10/2017, 17:20:51 UTC
The only altcoin I am holding is Burst and I will keep holding no matter how low the price goes. Nothing hurts more than seeing your coin go down in market value. I was tempted to sell but I believe in the Proof of Capacity Consortium's ability to deliver some good for Burst that I have decided to buy more.

What about you, what altcoin are you loyally holding and why?
That's absolutely true man. It does feel bad when you see your coin go down but its crypto, if it goes down it means it will rise soon.
I am currently holding DGB which is the most affected by the fork. You can see it has gone down to 170 satoshis which is like a blood bath for it.
I bought it at 500 satoshis thinking it will rise soon but you see what has happened to it now. People are saying it will go lower than 100 satoshis and that's when i am thinking to buy it more. It does have a lot of potential and it can give a good return after the fork.

I bought some DGBs at 2000 sats. Damn, I need to be very patient until it climbs back up 😁

I think they made a new one, and the ICO just ended, and the coin has no development updates after the ICO. Cheesy

I'd be wary of this. They even still use the same twitter account
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720292.0
The original project date from years ago and it seems the developers just ran away with the money.

Now this is an obvious scam. They are just creating new ICOs. After getting enough ETH or BTC from their various ICOs, they will vanish eventually. Smiley)

Re: INTCoin ICO
by
jehzlau

Anybody here know about INTCoin, is this legit?  ICO is on now (1 BTC - 2099 INT) they apparently sold
2 202 093.12 worth of INT

https://www.intcoincurrency.org/

INTCoin

INTCoin is a next generation decentralized currency that takes advantage of blockchain capabilities for instant transactions with a minimum fee.

A distinctive feature of INTCoin is adoption of AniNote and SCS technologies, which are based on resolving issues of existing decentralized systems associated with consensus algorithm, network bandwidth and transaction anonymity.

CryptoNote: evolution of ideas lying at the core of bitcoin technology. This is a protocol allowing to develop fully anonymous cryptocurrencies. CryptoNote’s anonymity is ensured by the "ring signature" technology, which allows users to make their transactions absolutely unrelated.

At the same time, CryptoNote helps solve the problem of double expense typical for fully anonymous signatures, and uses egalitarian proof-of-work mechanism with equal voting rights for miners.

Realizing the advantages and prospects of this protocol, we have developed an original protocol, AniNote, which allows to expedite the transaction process while maintaining the same level of anonymity, and enhance the untraceability of transactions.

AniNote uses a multichannel ring signature to achieve the highest level of coin mixing when a large number of the system’s nodes is involved, and slightly modifies its algorithms.

Distribution of issue

The INTCoin issue is limited, with the number of issued coins decreasing by 3% over every subsequent 180 days (annual rate ≈ 5.9%). The coins are distributed in several ways:

    Initial budget: 4.5%
    Miner’s reward (POW): 47%
    Holder’s reward (POS): 40%
    Development budget: 8.5%

Consensus algorithm

INTCoin features a hybrid consensus system, Proof-of-work (POW) + Proof-of-stake (POS), which allows to determine the balance between miners and currency holders to ensure stability and true decentralization, and helps prevent concentration of influence over development within a narrow circle.

This consensus algorithm enables participation in the system both using and without mining.

Is this coin officially a scam now? No news about it recently O_O

I just signed up with UQUID just now, deposited 5000 DOGE, and activated my Virtual Card. Transferred the remaining USD to my Virtual Card, and linked it to my PayPal account. It works. It's fast, and I love how fast it is.

Now I'm thinking to get the plastic card + express delivery. Anyway here got their plastic cards yet? Cheesy

I just ordered a UQUID plastic card. Cheesy Excited to receive it soon. Smiley

Hey UQUID,

I am tempted by the idea of a crypto debit card, but something about it makes me feel uneasy and I feel I don't fully understand the fees.
Can you tell me what the fees would be for these hypothetical transaction so that I know I am not misunderstanding.

1a ) Depositing 0.001 bitcoin
1b ) Depositing 1 ethereum
1c ) Depositing £10 (GBP)

2a ) If I deposited 1 eth (hypothetically worth £100 for easy maths) and then withdrew £10 from a free cash machine, what would the total cost in fees be (show your workings)?
2b ) Same as above but what if I transferred the money to another account rather than withdrawing it?

3 ) Do I have access to my private keys/ can I freely take my cryptocurrencies out of my account at any time?

If you deposit a certain amount, for example 1 ETH. You need to convert it to USD (or your preferred currency) before transferring it to your UQUID card. You can't deposit a crypto currency directly to the card. The withdrawal fee is 3% for all currencies.

It's like a city full of cars. The more the cars within that city, the traffic will be heavier and people will arrive from one point to another point longer. This is what's happening to bitcoin right now. We all need to be very patient, because we'll arrive from origin to destination longer than usual. 😁
Or we could do what most cities that consistently have congestion problems do...increase traffic capacity in as simple and cost effective way possible.

Yeah. Only if Bitcoin City will build wider the roads or build new roads to ease traffic congestion. I think it's hard for them to implement such changes because there are too many cars and people in it already. Haha! If they won't increase capacity, people will be forced to move to the great city of Ethereum where they already built skyways and subways in strategic locations or the Lightning City where there are more roads with less cars. Hahaha! 😁
