Anyone every think the admins were fleecing traders?  what better way to pump and dump without owning a coin, heck soon as your BTC hits the exchange its just IOUs and a database.  BTCe was big enough to move the entire market, certainly i think LTC was played , people talk about whales, maybe BTCe admins were the wales eh ? so it was us who were laundered as innocent traders ?  Think about it , btc-e bitcoin price starts surging , totally done with no money but enough to move the market, keep the pressure on over months and you get FOMO kick in, bam all their stolen GOX coins are 10x. Keep arbitrage in check.

then  Alex gets picked up in Greece , admins kick into plan B , siphon begins. BTCe are the mafia ? they only have to run from one side now.

500 million on the move and very very little media coverage...  Uncle Sam sure knows how to keep the smoke signals down.   This is as big as GOX and look what it got press wise, also zero impact on BTC price as lots of the Bitcoin news desks are heavily invested and promoting other positive news in the hope no one notices. 

All i can say is this will continue in coming months years you will see BTC crushed and put in its cage by the FED. Crypto will only be allowed to flourish if its not transferring money.

Whats more of a crime is the reach of the US.  The Rothchilds are finally kicking into stage 2!  BTC wipeout , slow strangulation, makes sense BTC biggest threat they have ever seen.  Revolutions in the past kicked off with far less wealth control and imbalance than now.  Amazing to see the true power and reach these chosen few have.  back to my day job and my debt.

I sold my bitshares minutes before they closed the exchange due to the inside snatch so BTER has my bitshares as BTC was already stolen ?  the guy who bought my bitshares was in BTC at the time of the hack

. I question why only those who had their value in BTC at the time are slugged! Freeze all coins, sell them off slowly - re-reimburse all customers using the exchange, it was the exchange that got hacked not BTC.  there would be people that lost 10 btc plus on this, left with nothing. I would say its time to put faces to names and shame all involved in this sham. None of the owners should ever be allowed to participate in the space again, should be an international crypto most wanted list!  i was just a small fish in this one with a couple BTC, i feel sorry for you guys who lost a lot more.  You learn once and move on, ill be re entering the space and using only bitshares non central exchange.

Be patient guys, original investors cashing out, and buying up, look at the constant pre pump buying, big investor drove down price only to buy up your coins again, win win for them. Happens on most of the non mineable coins, market control.  $20,000 sell off can cause a snowball right into the palms of the original sellor at a very low price. Keep an eye on this one, hold and ride all the way, another darkcoin or anoncoin in the making

This coin had a lot going for it, no premine, unique algorithm, had a good pool behind it and a lot of supporters.  A coin doesnt have to die because the creator gave up on it, MTS 2 ? someone else could take this over, add features and revive it.  Exchanges killed the alt market by adding pump dump fuckwit copy coins over and over, 300 + of them. There should have been some pre-reqs to adding coins, not corrupt owners picking and choosing, often based on what they have bought up first, the wild west it is. But survival of the fittest I guess and MTS is weak because of no development.  I have 500 that i mined still sitting in my account, should have sold them when they were worth something i guess.

Last time i checked DGC has never been pwn'd as you put it, DGC has successfully avoided forking due to some of its unique features such as the "checkpoint blocks" that appear randomly. As far as I know its avoided being forked, and only for updates so far.  

Not sure I was trying to scam people, did i ask for money ? or cheat someone out of something? Just putting it out there, that as sad as it is, a name will take a coin much further than just the tech.  WDC and FTC have both been forked, yet people still happy to trade and mine.  Not sure all the FTC and WDC supporters would share your views on a train wreck?

I think the success of a coin has more to do with the psychological connection rather than the specific technical aspects.  This is why marketing works so well, it relates to the customer on a human level, not with specific boring technical details of a product. While they advertise tech aspects its not their main focus.

Bitcoin was first, it has the name, simple as that. We know theres 100s of "Better and more sophisticated coins" but its has the name. The majority of people who own BTC wouldn't have much of an idea of the inner workings and probably don't care. They just hope to be on the money train and relate to its name and popularity. All the innovations of payment systems and real world use follows.

After watching the ups and downs of the alt coin world over the last year or so, you can see how it works, new coins are printed daily, they are hyped pumped and dumped. Overly technical coins appeal to a certain audience, they buy up early and hype begins then its dumped, there doesnt seem to be a long term uptake.

We have to remember the real world success of a coin depends on mass adoption, what do the masses want? They want something that can use and that they relate to. The name of a coin is 80% of its success, 20% technical, to the masses that is. Look at Bitcoin, very outdated on a technical level, but hugely successful on its fame level.

Many will disagree with me on this, as this is primarily a technical forum, but this is why I'm leaning on coins like Digitalcoin and netcoin etc, the name fits the purpose. Long term I think this will win out.

I think there will be a point where we will all turn around and see coins like DGC take off like a rocket, not based on the tech aspects but the name and fame, along with good security and development community, you still need the 20% technical aspect.

All the sprooking of new coins, was great. vlad2vlad arguments where?  I get bored and dont trade to often, not sure you guy realize how much more traffic good ol troll box brings. not that traffic is a concern in the recent good times, but things are quietening down abit.
