Don't tell me the IRS won't they will even following rules, if there is high amounts money/cash/gear whatever we/you/I call it, involved an I don't mean below 10k .they will expect it for 10 k buys an enforce more over that 3 k buy,the price doesn't have to go up because coins do, sigh .......to me that's just another excuse used to be Greedily or justify greed, that in the end will hurt all of us including the ones that cause it.

I think this is the problem with them accepting BTC/BCH for purchases. The assumption now is that everyone who is buying miners was part of the early days when BTC was less than $1000 so now that it is worth $10000+, people are swimming in 'money' and they will pay more for it. Add that everyone that held BTC got the equivalent in BCH made free money out of thin air! That allows them to take liberties with the supply and demand curve. The price is the price the market will bear and the push it up and people still pay it.

It was gone before the clock struck 7:01 PM.

They probably had none more. :-P

To add insult to injury, all of the S9's at $5K were sold out. :-o

Hey Rishab,

Deny THIS.

You read through that whole conversation and I am envisioning the movie "Boiler Room" - what a bunch of pie in the sky, sunshine up your ass salesmanship!

That whole conversation alone indicates the high level of fraud involved.

Coins only exist at addresses. A transaction takes coins from one address, and sends them to another. If you think these coins still exist, what address do you think they're at?

These were taken from various addresses, and sent nowhere. They aren't in the addresses they came from -- you can check that, the blockchain doesn't lie. They weren't sent to any new address. It's impossible for a new transaction to send them somewhere new, because they don't exist at any address anywhere in the blockchain.

Couldn't you alter the code to scrape the fees from the blockchain when it parses through all of the transactions?

EDIT: Yes you can, but you can create coins out of thin air, so why bother. If you burn the fees, then why even collect them? It is ultimately a tax on the coin owner since they are not used to incentivize miners.

The fee for a transaction is the difference between the input total and the output total. The destination for the fees is set in the block that contains the transaction.

So here's an example of a bitcoin transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/e967550ef95d28a95a4ea2e679b8b9463cea28943d3053ef65d7f5fe109ce3ad
Click to find the block it's in:
https://blockchain.info/block-index/757279
In the top transaction you see listed there, you can see where the fees (0.25520967 BTC) are sent, along with the 25BTC reward for mining the block.

That example is a little weird. It shows two blocks for that one, but the one with the transactions was marked as an orphan while the other block has a -25 BTC net.  Shocked

So did all of those transactions "bounce" aka are unconfirmed?

Back to Paycoin, so what does the nMint variable in the source code capture? It tracks the transaction fees, does that somehow find its way back into the money supply?

Strongly agree with your first point, I might also add everyone should show up as an angry mob and start taking out those phisical miners they paid for them and he's selling them right under their noses.  There's no justice like angry mob justice

I will be looking forward to a video of looting where people running out of a store are carrying Antminer S4's.  Grin

Some grade-A Homero bullshit in this thread. Allusions to moving GAW/Paybase operations out of US to avoid regulations.

So, if I find a PR164d that receives "nFee" then that would show they haven't been destroyed?

No, what I'm saying is that PRI64d is just a placeholder in the string for any integer.

So if I had printf("The Number Is %"PRI64d" In Case You Care\n", 4);

I'd get

"The Number Is 4 In Case You Care"

Indeed the line of code is just an output, used for testing purposes or something like that to see what the results of the output is. its impossible to exactly say what value PRI64d is based on by just showing us these 2 lines of code.

Essentially it is the Windows equivalent of a ANSI C "lld" so a 64-bit signed value with some extra flair.

The magic code is probably the lines before the printf if you want to see what happens to the fees.

He might have contracted that from Anita.

As for Joe's coins, I think we're going to see them destroyed by throwing very very hard into a buy wall on Cryptsy.

They will likely be properly burned... its not like Josh is running low on the 97% premine he can sell on exchanges slowly. He just got caught and now has to destroy the coins....which doesn't stop him from selling off any of the other hyper-inflating coins from other prime controllers.

Yup, Josh to the rescue!! Thank you Josh!!

" See! All those "Test" coins are gone. That makes me honest and proves Paycoin is NOT a SCAM!! " (Shhhh! Don't blow it! Snicker Snicker, these fucking morons can not figure out that I get 25,000 free XPY every day!!)  Roll Eyes

P.S: Perseus: Here is an archive of that HT thread while your post was still up: https://archive.today/yyRnv

These people, they don't care about the implications because they are all morons.

They shrug it off, but if the story was:

"I work at the US Mint and we were doing some tests on the printing presses of the new $100 bill and we ran off a few sheets using the official dies, but that's okay. Those sheets were put over there on the pile... wait, what happened to them? Oh well, no harm no foul right? They were just test bills..."

someone would go absolutely apeshit and most likely someone would end up out of a job or in jail!

if it isn't currency in your hand, too many people don't understand the value of it and think it is nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, some of them still seem to take Mr Ganza for serious, so what do I know...

There have been enough knucklehead posters on HT that our pal "SeriousInvest" comes off sounding like the Russian Warren Buffet. Shocked

There are other forums and communities that CyberLizard is a part of that he is open and honest on it. And he doesn't hide his feelings about GAW even in his moderating posts. But just like Dogie with his contract with BitMain, he can't talk poorly about Bitmain on their threads or their forums, but they can't control what he does on his own threads and posts outside of those.

I know this is a few days old, but I have to say something about this method of thinking.

It all comes down to ethics. "I don't believe what he is doing is right or that his promises will come true, but I will take his money because this is one thing and that is another"

If you don't believe in the venture/product, why even bother working for them? That is what stinks and everyone is jumping on calling out the hypocrisy.

How about this? You work on a forum that is actually a stalking ground for people who deal with kiddie porn. You get paid to maintain the server, moderate, blah blah. While they don't come out and expose their crime in broad daylight, you have a gut feeling that something wrong is happening. So by your standards its okay to keep on taking their money and cast a blind eye to what might be going on?

It's all about ethics...

yeah still see nothing in there but someone hoping coinfire gets what it deserves. Show logs or actual proof, or just get sued for slander and defamation. It really is simple, I almost guarantee it wasn't him. I see he is even offering tio help coinfire on his twitter. Ifi have learned one thing from so many years in the game its that btctalk is famous for no proof witch hunts.

The fact that they aren't deleted is just more proof he didn't do it, wouldn't you be smart enough to hide them if so?

Even if he didn't do it, he was acting like a douche based on what was written in those posts.

Maybe his account was hacked by the hacker? Oh the humanity!

I think I know why people cannot take their BTC out of Paybase.

It's probably because GAW is using the BTC funds to pay off the massive GYFT purchases before it crashed. They MUST have BTC to pay the gyft cards and they didn't have any.

So while people's BTC balance on Paybase show positive, the BTC is actually not there.

Josh probably couldn't make it to the Panel because right now, he has a masssive problem of paying off what is owed to gyft, and finding BTC to pay off his customers BTC on paybase.

If he doesn't get it done quickly somehow, there might be some jail time for him quicker than we thought.

I was able to get my 0.5BTC out of Paybase, but I had to enter 0.4999BTC since their POS software doesn't factor the transaction fee when you attempt to withdraw.

Now, maybe people with larger balances are having problems, but I was able to get my life savings out of there.  Grin

But look what's here - Paybase has a huge number of retailers! And AMAZON!!!

Well, not really. By the way the exchange rate for those gift cards is about 5% lower than their own market, ~3.65 vs ~3.85 at the moment. Not sure what's up with that, looks like double dipping on gift card commissions plus their own markup. I haven't tried to purchase yet.

Edit: so that's what Mr.Garza wanted to be released for the Miami Q&A apparently.

Edit2: gift cards sold by Gyft in case it's not clear from the screenshot. http://www.gyft.com/ offers 3% kickback on BTC purchases, not sure about the exchange rate though.

But the $10,000 question is "is the interface to Gyft native XPY, or are they converting to BTC and making the pass-through purchase from Gyft?"

If that is true, this is nothing special that makes XPY something better than BTC. The feature has little value if you have to move through another currency (crypto or fiat) in order to spend it.

Why would both parents be in on the same scam? Now they're both going to get arrested and the kids won't see their parents for 10+ years.
