Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies

I'm experimenting with a variety of crypto tax software solutions and I've spent several hours trying to get my coinbase imports to reconcile to the current balance that I have in coinbase. Your auto-import of deposits/withdrawals is a premium feature, but without understanding how well it works I'm hesitant to purchase. Is it possible for you to temporarily provide this feature so I can trial it? (feel free to disable the ability for me to create any reports, etc)

Hello, I'm trying to use your software to calculate the cost-basis for my capital gains back to 2013. I've started with Coinbase because I figure if I can input all deposits, withdrawals, buys and sells, and it ultimately matches up to my current balance in coinbase, then I prove to myself I at least have a basic understanding of how this works and then I'll slowly start adding the other exchanges one by one. (if you have a better idea of how to go about tackling this gigantic problem, i'm all ears)

So i started by following the instructions and downloading the "buys, sells and merchant payouts" report for each individual account - all history. I've uploaded each of them into your system. It seems to work fine.

Then I tried to determine how to manually enter all sends/receives (aka withdrawals/deposits). After playing with a few of the coinbase reports, it seems as if "Transaction history for taxes" was the one most relevant. It shows a long list of all sends/receives across all accounts and currencies. So, starting in chronological order, I begin manually entering these as "General deposit" for the receives and "General withdrawals" for sends.

About 1/4 of the way through manually entering these, I noticed that in early 2014 I made a "Send" of nearly 30 BTC. It seemed like a rather high number so I manually went back to try and determine if I would have even had this much in the account at that time - and I wouldn't have. Therefore it leads me to believe that i'm missing something somewhere. Can you please help?

On an additional note, in the event that i get too frustrated trying to do this myself, is there a service somewhere where I can safely provide the csv files and have somebody else do this work for me?

I can pay with paypal, credit card, bank transfer or cash (if you're in berlin). I've never made a trade via this forum so I'm wary and would appreciate some advice on how to do this safely (i.e. using escrow, etc.)

Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts,-UK LTD company

I am the earlier adopter signup for the 5 Gigahash/s - Indefinite Contract (July 2013), no sign of mining and no reply, no answer and no announcement from them. So is it a scam? or is it? or it is.  Undecided

there was a newsletter they sent. you didnt receive it?  mining has started, but only at 10% capacity due to their asic suppliers not delivering.  so this is what we get at the moment.

since they are a start up, i suggest for us to be patient, but that doesnt mean we should stay quiet. Wink

WE will be at 1.3 Terahash as of this Thursday (8th August). As promised, the longer BFL delay, the more we will act by making emergency purchases to get you closer to 100% capacity.

We are currently on Bitminter at 840 Terahash.
https://bitminter.com/livestats/big

Also as promised, those on 1 year contracts, we will only start counting the start date once and only when you are mining at 100% capacity.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I sent two "tickets" via dashboard (though it doesn't seems to do much as dashboard) and it got deleted in 24 hours, is it how you guys handle enquiries? Beside, since you guys did such a great job designing such a fancy website to attract orders, it won't hurt to develop a simple and functional "dashboard" which as a client, able to view latest announcement, mining status, news etc. I'm a not a frequent visitors to bitcointalk hence would be able to read the announcements here. Yes, you mining somewhere and offer an upgrade, BUT we don't know, that makes me feel uneasy. I believe I'm not asking too much.

I also submitted a ticket to the dashboard and it was deleted without any reply. I bought a perpetual and a 1 year contract and I can't even see on the dashboard where it shows this, other than the order history page that just shows how much I paid.

Bitcoins are similar to fiat currency in that they can be used to purchase goods and services, store value, invest, etc.

I have a website and some content that I'd like to be repurposed and submitted to a variety of sites to help with SEO.

The winner of this auction will repurpose some content I've created and follow the guidelines in this article:

http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/backlink-strategy/

If the person executes well, there may be a longer-term position available with additional jobs.

Bidding for this job starts at BTC1.0. Bidding ends in 48 hours. Lowest bidder doesn't necessarily win as I'll be balancing both price and qualification. 50% of the fee will be paid after 20% of the work is completed and the other 50% will be paid after completion.

Why some people are mining on 20+ or 30+ USB sticks?
Isn't it better idea to be mining on 12gh/s ASIC Blade?

I was wondering the same thing. I'm assuming that the pictures we're seeing are people that anticipated they would be in high demand and are holding them as inventory while they sell them for a profit. You might as well mine with them if you have them on hand.

I'm setting up a new Wordpress site and I'd like someone to set it up for me so I can just start writing. The theme is installed, I just need someone to go through and set it up properly and tweak some of the graphics.

It needs:
  • A Main logo designed
  • 3 Graphics Designed
  • Favicon
  • Collection of 25-50 Images/Graphics (License-Free or Designed by you) to be used for posts that I write

I'll add you as a user so you can make the changes yourself.
