The technology will never go away. I suspect once there is regulation in place there can be no more regulation FUD.

It is of some interest to some people. People buy it and people sell it. It obviously doesnt have the same profile as Eth

The technology is real and has real benefit. I particular believe in use-cases that leverage blockchain for its benefits over previous technologies. IOTA and SKYFChain are doing cool things with IOT devices that need to communicate with eachother and the ecosystem without high transaction costs.

One tip is to copy some of the more technical text and paste it into google to see if it has been ripped off someone elses whitepaper.

While I guess NEO could overtake BTC, I think it is unlikely. You can find a minority opinion for anything online. There is more people out there who think that NEO isnt even necessarily the Ethereum killer, let alone BTC killer.

I have to say you are probably siding with the minority on this one.

Some TA's like to be contrarian so if on the the off chance they are right they are able to say they picked it an no one else did. Most projections I've seen are bullish in the long term. We're clearing the regulation FUD out of the system at the moment. Once regulations increase then FUD related to regulations will be less effective. Dont be surprised if a privacy coin overtakes BTC at some point though

Forking allows more rapid innovation. If you have to start your code base from scratch then you're spending time doing work you dont need to. Forks are efficient.
