[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Seeing as how even this forum is dead, this gives me little confidence. How is this coin at like .70 USD?

This has clearly fallen flat on it's face, as we have heard pretty much nothing since the original post. As I have said before, talk is cheap.

yes, it is efficient with hdd mining/renting, they should sell the raspberry together with the external drive as a minning bundle...
I've never heard of that before. Any idea where I can read up on that?

build your rig and mine ethereum or libry and zcash, there isn't much else to do, the hardest part maybe is to build the ri if you are not familiar other than that it's very easy to setup the mining software from clymore for ETH or ccminer for nvidia

How do I know which miner to build? and how to set it up? im having a tough time finding the specific info

these are components that everyone use, asroch h81 pro btc, g1840, 8-16GB of ram ssd of 60-120gb 6 risers and 6 gpu, you can also go with asus prime motherboard if you can't find the asrock and the g390 cpu

So basically I need to spend some serious cash?

Yes. You could go the route i have. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1914319.msg18988385#msg18988385

Do you have any desktops laying around with PCIE slots? Or perhaps a gaming PC? All you really need to start is one video card connected via PCIE. Learn the ropes of mining before you drop some serious cash on a dedicated rig. Take baby steps. I am only mining ETH right now, as i am a bit newbish right now too. But, i am mining on 4 desktops ATM nonetheless.

I have a desktop as my everyday pc, I cant imagine anyone turns a profit with such high power usage like that

Looking to get into altcoin mining. Trying to find any current info out there is not easy. Is there a beginners guide or anything out there? basically i'm considering mining monero and/ or aeon, and I'm trying to figure out if I should just build a rig, do cloud mining or what?

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks! Smiley

1) you should probably move this topic to  "Mining (Altcoins)"
2) don't buy cloudmining contracts, 99% of them are scams

COOL, THANKS. I wasn't sure which one it should go in.
