When will general sales start?

I do believe that no more are planned to be produced (or even available to pre-order I think) until after the Chinese New Year.

the CNY is 2.10 ,so the chinese worker  not work and  go home 2.5-2.25.

on 08/01/2013, 05:54:35 UTC
I had read the VHDL source code,it's 1Hz=1hash;
So the avalon is about 256Mhz/chip, ASICMINER also ,means that the ASIC one chip is about 300Mhash/s ?
and the avalon speed is about 72G,so they need  totoal chips is about 200pcs?

Thank you for the opportunity to get whitelisted quickly. I'll opt the old fashion way--putting in my hours reading and posting(s).

I do want to share an idea, though. If any trusted member would like to accept donations for a cause, I have one that would only require collecting $75. It is this one: http://www.sturgismotorcyclerally.com/info-guide/brick-project.php

Full disclosure: I'm not affiliate with that site, but am plugging my Brother-in-Law (name withheld). I'll tell you why I was there in a sec. The site has a rotating banner ad and this one caught my eye so I waited till it came back around (just thought about Alice's Restaurant for a second there) and clicked it. After reading the article, I said to myself, "Self. That would make a nice post on the Bitcoin Forum." Hence this posting.

(apologies to Car Talk's Click and Clack) Alert: The reason for being at the site is I wanted to see what date it started this year. Also, to get design ideas for my B-I-L to help design the Google Doodle to represent the 71st anniversary of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. My B-I-L is an artist and, moreover, hand tools leather seats the old school way. He tooled three seats for Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, two of which are in his museum(s). Also, he's been featured in over a dozen magazines.

So, I'm hoping there's a bitcoin user here on this forum who rides and would love to see a brick with Bitcoin.org placed on Main Street in Sturgis, SD, step up to the plate and make this happen. I, for one, would donate .25 BTC. At that rate, you'll/we'll only need 348 more donations (provide you donate same) to reach the goal.

Maybe the above idea is just a brain fart, but at least I eat healthy.

Not to mention, when you do get screwed with a bank.  Not only is your money stolen, but getting a new encrypted wallet on a new piece of hardware is probably a lot easier than dealing with a bank to get a new account or password.

Re: I made 100BTC with Satoshi's dice. Is this normal?
by

Well, you guys were right. I ended up losing it all in a couple big bets, then I got back up to 30 BTC before losing most of it with the martingale strategy. Now I'm at zero. It's a weird feeling, to go from $0 to making $1000, then back to zero in a few days. Maybe I'll try Satoshi's dice again, but I've learned to quit while on top, since it's incredibly easy to lose massive sums of bitcoins QUICK.

I guess I just answered my original question. This is how the site stays afloat.

now you can see why i feel like a total smart ass staying 30 BTC ahead forever Cheesy
