reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.
Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?

When you ask someone for advise they always say buy low and sell high but this is very tough.

It is easy to think than do it. It is really hard to see when is the low and when is the high. I f we can do that, we will definitely make a huge fortune. Maybe you will have some profits in short term..
But every project need a good team, marketing, developers..
Not just a good idea..
In the long term many projects will fail..

I agree. There are more and more projects have failed so we need to be more careful when we choose the coins. I often buy in 3 or 4 coins to make my investment split so I cna feel more safe.I see still a lot of people investing in worthless projects. My opinion..

In such situation, the best way is to hold what you have and wait patiently for the market to be better. It is normal for the price to be up or down So keep calm and be a smart one in the market. Only time will tell us the truth so hold and wait.This is the Strategy I was following in crypto. This is the example.
buy coin 300A @1.00 = 300
Sell 150 @2.00 (Now you covered your initial investment(Excluding fee))
Sell 50 @3.00 = 150
Sell 50 @4.00 = 200
Keep remaining 50 for long term( If market is crashing you have to sell this proton immediately).
But this method can't apply if the market crash before it reaching to 2x. I would like to know the approaches/Strategies you are following and drawbacks of this method.

In the current dip situation, I want to put engage some of my savings into alt coins. but it is tough to me to choose the right one. Could you please help me to choose the right one which at least not push me towards FUD?
I think you cna put your saving into the market. You can buy in some eth which is the most promsing coin in the situation. You can also buy in some other icos or alts but you need to make enough research befor you make the investment.why people are crazy for crypto ,they leaving their job, they selling their house , selling their property?

You need do enough research before you do the investment. You need to read the whitepaper carefully, and find out as much information as possible. Thre mroe information, you cna find, the less risk there will be.and even the websites use the same template...

There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. Theres a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.
No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Yes, I agree with you. btc will be the king for a long time in the market. I knew about crypto at the end of 2017, after a short time increase and make people crazy to invest, everything is down now. I'm not a trader, i'm just a holder, but i'm still afraid of the sign of market recently. Will everything be changed in next year? or several years later? Can i still invest in crypto?
I think you can stll believe in the crypto. They are low now. But they wll be high in the future certainly. Be optomistic. The brignt future will come.
