Announcing CGMiner Monitoring And Stats System!

Miners of Liteguardian now get the luxury of CGMiner monitoring giving you up to the minute details of your workers and each gpu!  No more wondering if your miner has a dead gpu, if your getting HW errors, if it's running too hot, etc.  The data is also stored and tracked to allow historical graphs to analyze issues, trends, etc.  We are the first Litecoin pool to offer such a feature and we are unaware of any pool of any coin which offers this feature!

The system tracks:

  • Worker Hashrate
  • Worker Work Utlility
  • Worker Total Accepts
  • Worker Total Rejects
  • Worker Total Uptime
  • Per GPU Temp
  • Per GPU Hashrate
  • Per GPU Load
  • Per GPU Accepts/Rejects
  • Per GPU Fan Speed/Percent
  • Per GPU Core/Mem Clock
  • Per GPU Voltage
  • Per GPU HW Errors

We also offer hashrate graphs (showing miner hashrate, work utility, and per gpu hashrate)
And Temp/Load Graphs (showing temp/load per gpu per rig)

These are all FREE features for LiteGuardian miners!  Join today!  At the pool's current hashrate, invite requests are processed with 15-20 minutes but this will change as the pool grows, secure your account today!

WOW! This is awesome! This pool was already the best, now it is miles beyond the rest!

If anyone is on the fence on switching to this pool, trust me, it's totally worth it.  They constantly make improvements and add new features while giving the best consistent payout from all LTC pools!  Let me know if you need an invite, i have extras.

Today I've added support to keep track of your LiteGuardian LTC mining wallet balances, and mining hash rates, to CryptFolio (thread). This helps you keep track of mining pool balances over time, and generates reports (such as your overall USD net worth).

This is neat!

It's best if you set the minimum to be around 64 and the maximum to be 256. The server will automatically find the most optimum diff and assign it to you.

Thank you, that is what i did and so far its working great.  Thanks tenshoes!

Lets see if my long question gets frigan lost again.... (this time i copy it first!)

Hi, i am just getting into litecoin mining and have decided i want to use a PPS pool (with as low as fee of possible of course)  I am thinking I am going to try yours because in my research you offer the lowest fee for PPS and VARDIFF.  My reading tells me that i want vardiff.  Can you tell me how vardiff will help me? I dont fully understand it I just know that its good. The only thing I care about is minimzing network traffic, am I correct in understanding that it helps with that?

Thanks!

Yes absolutely correct, VARDIFF cuts down on network traffic.  It monitors the traffic generated by your workers and adjusts the difficulty to suit them best.  It reduces network traffic, reduces load on the server, can reduce rejects and is even more important for low hashrate miners.  We allow setting your min and max diff or you can leave it default and let the system manage the difficulty for you.

Welcome aboard!

Thanks, been mining your pool for about a day now, so far I love it! It's a welcome change from the other LTC pools I tried in the process of finding yours, they all look and work the same!

Although I am not sure how acurate it is.  And there seems to be some bugs.

For example, I posted and it said it was too early since my last post even though it was my first post.  I waited 10 minutes and tried to post it again and it said i already posted it!  Even though it wouldnt go through.  So i reworded it and it still wouldnt let it go through.  So then i go to another post and do a enw brand new reply, and then it tells me 360 seconds! LOL, the cycle continues!  Even though I have still never made a post a this point.

Plus now i ahve made several posts and i still cant post outside this forum, even though it says 1 post in the readme.  Frustrating.

Re: cabinets for mining rigs
by

on 24/07/2013, 09:25:02 UTC
hi there,

Just purchased my first mining rig and looking for a little bit of advice on cabinets etc.

I've been looking around at several different styles and sizes and I believe that a 12-18u rack would be just fine.  At the moment I have 3 jalapenos and a single ordered.  I'm planning to link them to an external psu also (1500 w be ok I think). For this I'll be pm`ing cablez to hook me up.

What set up do you have? What cabinet do you use? Could you recommend a manufacturer with good prices/quality product?

I live in a flat so space is at a premium and I'd love to try and keep fan noise down.

any suggestions?

Thanks

I am also looking to get my cards out of a case and do a different kind of build.  I was thinking open air, the existing open air cases are quite expensive though.

I am new to mining and want to get into mining litecoins, can asic be made to work with litecoins?  I like the idea of a specific designed device that is low power and heat, but don't want to mine bitcoins.
