Re: BTC Stolen from Poloniex

I think just keep original fee and deduce 12.3% btc balance from all accounts until stolen BTC is covered (in 2-3 months). So the exchange will self-recover with the help of all users and no one lost BTC.
+1

A fee increase to 1.5% would likely be self-defeating in that volume would fall drastically. Keen to hear dev's estimate on pay back schedule, based on current earnings. I think he owes us that much...once he's had some sleep Smiley

I have some BTC tied up in Poloniex, but have to applaud the dev's approach here. What's done is done, and how great to see a proactive attitude towards making things right.

I would happily take some dividend paying POL shares as reimbursement in lieu of the 12.3%.

Looking forward to hearing dev's thoughts on the share issue.

How much eXocoin will I get if I invest 0.2 Btc for example?

I don't need exact numbers, but just a rough estimate is fine.
well we cannot tell you more than that what you can calculate for yourself.
15% EXO for all early-birds. You will get (0.2 / (all_btc_early + equivalent valued of all_ltc_early)) * 15% * 100,000,000 EXO
as early bird. As 2nd one calculate with 10%. All_btc and all_ltc you can check here (as for now): investments

value of ltc to btc is determined one day before launch.

Ok that's approximately 110.000 Exo I guess.
I'm working off 25,000 EXO for a 0.1 BTC investment, so I think your guess is a bit optimistic. There is already over 50 BTC investment according to the website.

That gives a break even market cap of 400 BTC or approx. $200,000 at current prices (around 400 sat).

The number 6 logos are far and away the most professional and mainstream looking graphics. Yes, 5 is a nice logo, but something you'd see in a video game rather than a shop window.

6 makes VTC look like it is ready to be taken seriously as a currency, which is why it gets my vote.

P.S. I'm currently at 1975 in the list, but this is not a duplicate payment. UF please refer to earlier PMs.

Re: [ANN] Levelcoin - Proof of Stake / Proof of Burn Hybrid - Inflation Immune
by

I don't see how this system is anti-inflationary. As the number of LVL2 coins in the system increases, so the rate of LVL1 coin production increases. As LVL1 coins are now being produced faster, their value decreases. People then burn LVL1 coins at an ever increasing rate, thus producing more LVL2 coins, which in turn increases the rate of LVL1 coin production. How is that not inflationary?

Just noticed everyone's hashrates have dropped dramatically at the la.vertcoin.org pool. Anyone know what's going on?

Ignore that - must have been a temporary glitch. Fine now.

Hey guys. Mining on la.vertcoin.org - can anyone explain why on the pool stats my USD/day rate is about $1400 for only 60 VTC/day? Obviously that's incorrect, or am I misinterpreting it?

no 0.18 cents is the correct number at the moment

 Vertcoin   $ 183,016   $ 0.18   1,016,250 VTC   $ 13,440   +23.56 %
Yeah figured that was too good to be true. Only started mining last night and got quite excited when I first saw those numbers!
