The draft and this IRC log are FAKE!

..and BTW GOX has been under the control of US agencies for quite a while. Karpeles did a deal with them. His life for control of GOX.

I don't think it will happen because the point of paper backups is that you just have to remember where it is and you can recover your wallet. You could however print to PDF and then do what you want with it.

Was on 0.88 and I upgraded Debian from Squeeze to Wheezy and it broke Armory's icons and splash screen. Installing 0.90 fixed the icons but the splash is screen is still just a black square.

OK I sent for 1 BTC coin but it came from two addresses. I hope this won't cause a problem. I thought my client would automatically put it into one address then send.

Insured tracked: 5,50€ + 1,50€ for each one BTC
OK but how to pay this? In bitcoin, PayPal, ...?

What's the deadline for this? Since the coins are being sent unfunded will you use the cheapest shipping method? Is payment for shipping in bitcoin too?

I'm in Australia so any package imported that is valued under $1000 AUD has no tax.

And I doubt he'd buy coin cases if he didn't have anything to put in them!
Check this out thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=183025.0

He used Casascius coins that he had to bait people. He had no intention of ever sending them.

Please post the transaction id and address you sent the coins to in the VERY slight chance that someone may track the coins down. Consider the coins gone though.

Here is a message for Woodstock:

You may have been given the impression from Tirapon that 1.25 BTC is a trivial amount and that it "was worth the cost just for the sake of this thread". I do not hold the same opinion. I have just got into bitcoin which means I did not get into this cheaply. You took over half of my coins. Login and check your messages and you'll find an address to return my coins.

I'd appreciate it if you did return them.

Me (April 19, 2013, 03:34:56 PM)
What year are the 1 BTC coins? Do they have the hologram on the back? What country are you sending from?
Reply with an address incase I do want to buy.

Woodstock (April 19, 2013, 07:56:21 PM)
They are 2012s and shipping from USA.
If you wish to purchase 1.25 for 1 or 2.4 for 2.
If you want any 5 BTC ones I will do those at 5.05 each since I am shipping anyway.
If you wish to buy please send the BTC to 1NYtBB9dGFKGDcPi2KAUpX6WWHAZobmsM
and give me your address thanks

Me (April 19, 2013, 09:05:13 PM)
Bitcoin sent. Could you PM me the public address of the coin? My address:
XXXXX
And could you also PM the receipt number of the package once it's sent?

Woodstock (April 19, 2013, 09:19:08 PM)
I am not home at the moment but I will when I am back I can confirm receipt of the BTC and I will give you the tracking number also when I send them later on today

Me (April 19, 2013, 09:27:54 PM)
No worries. I will post in the thread when I am out of the newbie jail. I will also post feedback in the thread when I receive the coin to try and generate more interest in the 5 BTC coins if you want to hold off cracking them open.

Woodstock (April 19, 2013, 09:41:56 PM)
It will be a shame to open them since they are nice coins but the reason for me selling is I am trying to raise money to purchase something this weekend so I think I will probably end up opening at least some of the coins.
Will let you know when I am back the details you need

Me (April 20, 2013, 11:18:31 AM)
Could I get the tracking/receipt number on my package? Also did you note down the public key of my coin?
Sorry to pester.

Me (April 20, 2013, 09:08:12 PM)
Hi, can you please respond

Woodstock (April 20, 2013, 11:13:15 PM)

Max Keiser mentioned recently that Mt.Gox is crud because it just matches up buy and sell orders in the order they are added to the queue and that adding a "market maker" would solve the insane price fluctuations.
