The popularity of bitcoin has to increase in order the match the expectation price.
Its not okay to expect a investment product goes up for no reason.

Re: The paranoia of being recognized...

well, the main reason is when you expose yourself and tell everybody you are rich. Its normal you will get robbed showing such information.
Even if you earn millions, you won't shout out to people telling them you have this much and its easy to rob yourself.

Re: Poloniex = Scam exchange beware.
by

Beware of Poloniex,

They use bots to pump and dump coins and ponzi schemes,  at the moment the exchange is pumping DASH which is a ponzi scheme,  they create these big pumps, attract investors who short them, them keep them stuck for weeks.  If you dont know Poloniex is designed to suck in investors, use bots to create fake volume.
Doubt it, because bots wouldn't help much at this point anyways. They're already so big in the exchange world.

Hate to be a party pooper here, but you'd have to be either way too rich or out of your mind to put ETH in your retirement account.  This is the cryptocurrency version of putting a Lotto ticket in an IRA.  Way too much risk.
A little bit of ETH isn't so bad for long term, you nvr know with these cryptos

Re: C-CEX delisting the following coins!
by
jingsu1
on 05/05/2017, 10:29:18 UTC
The following coins will be removed from C-CEX on 08.05.2017 if their average trading volume for the last month has not exceeded 0.2 BTC/day (6 BTC for last 30 days):

ArtexCoin [ATX], LuckChain [BASH], BiosCrypto [BIOS], BritCoin [BRIT], Bitquark [BTQ], CaliphCoin [CALC], PawnCash [CSH], CoreCoin [CRC], CreakCoin [CREAK], CereiPayCoin [CRPC], DubaiCoin [DBIC], DimeCoin [DIME], DT Token [DRACO], Eclipse [EC], EverGreenCoin [EGC], GoldBlocks [GB], BigLifeCoin [LFC], OTCCoin [OTX], PabyosiCoin [PBC], RideMyCar [RIDE], SunShotCoin [SSC], UCoin, VectorCoin 2.0 [VEC2], PureVidz [VIDZ], VitalAir [VTL], Wcoin [WCN], WorldGoldCoin [WGC], Fenix [XFX], LiteChain [XLTC], ExodusCoin [XODUS], Isotope [XTP], ZeroCoin [ZCOIN], BitZeny [ZNY].

Since, they have to free up server resources for new coins by delisting some coins which have consistently low trading volume.

They recommend to trade, sell or withdraw these coins before removal date, after which retrieval of any remaining balances for these coins will not be possible anymore.

However, they will not remove coins which will reach minimum trading volume requirement.

Do you hold any of these coins?

Only one I recognize is Vertcoin. That one was actually popular in the past. Other ones I've never even seen.

Re: Best Litecoin marketplace?

Hey, I'm thinking about investing a bit into Litecoins. What's the best market for this? Is BTC-E trustworthy and legit?

(Also, kinda off-topic: What happened at the start of April this year that pushed the LTC price so high all of a sudden?)
LTC is one of the oldest staples in terms of cryptos. It's on most exchanges. Try using Polo?

Re: localbitcoin is it safe?
by

on 03/05/2017, 18:14:44 UTC
hi im interested in buying some bitcoins im from the uk, i recently signed up on blockchain under the impression i could "ping-it" but, alas, i didnt ping anything and im left with a btc'less account also they have no blue buttons to click or ways i can buy BTC under the uk options of buying.

so... local bitcoin has some ppl on there offering btc by bank transfer but if i send my bank details to them can they somehow draw more out than is agreed or could they basically rob me? on another note i dont really want to meet people in person unless i really have to but to me this is a big step backwards being a didgital currency an all if its the only way i can get my paws on some.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try to use very highly rated sellers on LocalBitcoins. That way, there's a lot higher chance that you'll make a successful transaction.

Re: genisis mining = fraud?
by

on 03/05/2017, 18:13:33 UTC
Thanks for the answers. I contacted the support as nothing happens till today. I entered my wallet in the first place and did not expected to get rich or fast or something like that. I just wanted to own some Ether and thought it would be a nice way to contribute to the network in the way of cloud mining as electricity in my country is pretty expensive.

Will reply again if the support gets back to me.

If you want to own some Ether then why you don't use 500 Euros instead to purchase Ether at some of the exchanges? It's far more fast compare on buying hashpower at cloudmining and we don't know if they are really operational.

Anyways what done is done. Hopefully their support will get in touch to you.

"Hopefully" "Hopefully" "Hopefully".
I agree with the above posters. Cloud mining is typically not recommended to due to lack of transparency.

Our site is working over 3 years, and as I know more and more people know about us, using our service.

I would like to do a research for our site.what do you think of our site ,service, user experience?

We offer lots of payment options to buy and sell your ecurrency (Perfect Money, OKPAY, Payeer, Paypal) and bitcoin(now it is working!!!).

any advice please let me know, we would like to listen and keep improve our service and user experience.
This topic seems kind of unprofessional for a company to have all these mistakes in grammar. But yeah, check out BTC and ETH/other ALTS. A lot of markets are implementing it.

Hello people,

I am searching on internet for a few days where I can buy some mining power. I have arround 1000-2000 eur in mind to invest, i saw many cloud mining websites but not even one is giving me confidence.

Can you share some feedbacks about websites where I should invest?

Mining isn't that great because if it was, everyone would do it. Better just to stick to buying and investing in good choices in the crypto industry.

Re: Poloniex isn't the best place to trade alts
by
jingsu1
on 03/05/2017, 08:19:52 UTC
Okay, so in last ~3 weeks, I've come back into crypto, facing some financial difficulties and putting all last financies into old and good btc. I've been using poloniex a lot and that's what I want to share with you. During this month I've been arbitraging and trading a little and got my coins stucked or lost or somewhat for 3 times on polo. The longest one was 4 days and 6 hours, when the system made coin withdrawal but no actual withdrawal happent. I've got my ticket answered only after 4 days. During this I've lost ~5-10% of value in btc of this alt and lost a huge amount of investment/trading oppotinuties I wanted to try. Even though my problem could be solved in 2 minutes with just giving coins back on the account. And after 2 days since resolving the last issue I got into another. Today I saw a 6% gap between trade price on bittrex and polo and wanted to use it. Bought coins, send on actual, working deposit polo wallet and... Nothing. Absolutely nothing happent. So for now it's over -35% of the initial price and will go even more for sure and it's only 13 hours. My ticket won't be solved until 2 of may when it would be delisted so high chance that I will lost everything. It is the most retarded situation - everything is fine in blockexplorer, they received everything, this can be finished in several clicks by polo, but they don't care. Just because of issue on the other side I'm loosing around 0.04 btc minimum.  I know it's not much, but for me it's pretty significant amount and all losses are only because of the technical issues from the exchange side.
Now I just hate my life and dislike the poloniex for experiencing it. This experience even more devastating than cryptsy's was.
Bittrex is running much more alts markets. But they somehow can deal with them and most problems are solved in several hours. And tickets are answered after 6-12 hours.
But polo while making like 300-400k$ a day now can't hire enough support staff to deal with 600-700 tickets a day and run 20-30 wallets.
You will have to deal with 2-3-4 or even more days to get your tickets finally answered.

So, what I want to say to you - don't trade with alts of high volatility on poloniex - you'll suffer big losses. Avoid depositing not top alts there. They don't care about you. On the my message of like "Thanks for -30% poloniex" in chat after explaining my problem, I've received answer from moderator like "You are welcome." and then was  banned. They are making money and became a little bit lazy.
Thanks for your attention. Avoid dealing with polo in non top 5-10 alts, or you are risking to lose a lot of time and nerves.
Yeah they definitely have a huge monopoly-like control over the exchanges. Their competitors don't come very close so they aren't too worried about losing one or two customers.

Re: Looking For Software for price alerts
by
jingsu1
on 03/05/2017, 08:04:44 UTC
Hello friends, i was wondering if there any app or software to set alerts from exchange sites (windows 10), it would be better for my trading strategy if i can check and set alerts for coins i choose from exchange sites, i assume many of you know the android app Tabtrader, and i was wondering i theres an app like that but for windows.

Thanks for replys.
Sorry my bad english.  Grin

There's an app on the Android store called Bitcoin Ticker or something. Nothing too good for iOS or windows as far as I know. But checking prices so often I found isn't very healthy :p

if you altcoin trading is good youre trading system use shor term every day take profit
because altcoin price flutuactive is very high in every day
Yeah but it can also fluctuate in the wrong direction. Better to buy and hold reliable alts IMO!
