Just as everyone I think it depend on the time they bought it. Everybody cannot be in red at the same time , although there is always a regret in crypto but it depend on when you buy it.

It seems like a ponzi, why will you tell an investor that they will have return on their investment that is larger and you know people are greedy enough to make quick money. Everyone should stay safe

It is a big possibility that the hacking was done by an insider, it can never be done by someone that doesn’t have an insight of the company. And it can also be done by someone that have worked in the company before. Everyone  should stay safe.

I pray it doesn’t go deeper more than this, although it is a normal thing for crypto to go deep but this is getting too much and the year is not over yet. I had a friend that his crypto worth of 77k drop down to 20k in two months. Let hope it doesn’t go deeper.  Hope I get merit for this😜

This can never be the end of bitcoin, because the research says that bitcoin will move to all time higher by 2024 and 2025. This is just normal thing that will always happened in the market for people to buy .

Re: What if she receives Bitcoin as gift
by
jinmioluwaseyi

There is nothing wrong in giving them bitcoin as a gift only if the person you want to give fully understand what bitcoin is all about. Maybe you will have to educate them before you give them the gift. I remember when I told my friend am going to gift her 20$ worth of bitcoin on her birthday I have to educate her on what eth is and told to go and open a wallet so that she can have a wallet address to receive the coin. So education is key before you send bitcoin to someone.

This is the problem we face with trust issue. I think we should allowed one of our siblings know about our coin because nobody knows when he or she we die. The trusted one should have access to our wallet when we are alive incase of necessity.

Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!!
by

I see based on the above history which you made an 150 days approximate that it will go further up and that cannot be stopped in any way. However to make a better comparison it is this one I am going to make below:

Halve of 2012
Price of 1.5 year later end of 2013 1100 dollar from a really low one

Halve of 2016
Price 1.5 year later we had the massive first all time high in December 2017 at 20.000 dollars

Halve of 2020
Price 1.5 year later we had another the biggest all time high in October 2021 at near 68.000 dollars

Based on history now after that halve I expect a huge new all time high.
expecting a big all time high in 2024

I know that celebrating my birthday here in Bitcointalk forum is off-topic to start with. So, to make this thread belong in Beginners & Help. Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price?
by
jinmioluwaseyi
on 29/10/2022, 12:46:19 UTC
I was reading some of the replies in of @mr_jk's thread when he asked what will happen if bitcoin's price became stable?

The replies were unexpected hehehe. Much of them argued why or how can bitcoin be stable? This makes me ask the question do much of the holders of bitcoin want the price to be stable or do they really want it be volatile? I ask this because stability makes bitcoin become a good store of value and medium of exchange. Volatility makes it good for trading and speculation.
In as much as we want bitcoin to be stable it can never be stable cause of its volatility. And the instability make it to be possible for trader to trade on it as at when to buy and when to buy. So I don’t think bitcoin can be stable.

Can bitcoin go down to 10k$ this year. The fluctuation of the crypto space now is dragging the coin, and I think is still going down more before it can regain it strength. So can it still go down or rise back to 60k$ this year? Let discuss

Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to have a high influence over other cryptocurrencies?
by
jinmioluwaseyi
on 28/10/2022, 12:10:23 UTC
Over the years, I have noticed  that every time Bitcoin's price goes down other alt coins follow suite. And When the price of bitcoin increases, it’s expected that  altcoins  go up in price shortly after. Presently as bitcoin price reduced other altcoin prices was affected too. Fact is that Bitcoin has the most secured network and it was the first among others. No doubt some alt coins was made of bitcoins clone.
But being  that a product can be the first of its kind to be made (just like Bitcoin)  and other companies may decide to produce similar product;( just like alts)  but that doesn’t mean the original product price and value will always affect others. So why does Bitcoin have such a big influence on other alternative cryptocurrencies.
When you are the first or shall we say that ones who had invented or had existed in terms of something having that revolutionary aspect likes decentralized and anonymous then this is something that cant really be forgotten and being the first would really be giving that huge impact and getting that main attraction or attention by the masses or by the community thats why whenever it do make out its price whether in bullish or bearish then it would simply be dragging out the entire market into the same path or trend. It might not be 100% precision since there are coins which are moving into different path but most likely this is really the case.
Reason? there's soo much trust and support from the community on bitcoin despite its tech or characteristics is less better than with those modern or new blockchains but people cant really just forget
on what this project had made out.
bitcoin is the first and powerful coin, that is why it affect other coin anytime it fluctuate.

Re: Bitcoin To Gain Pace Above This Level! Will BTC Price Regain Its Previous Glory?
by
jinmioluwaseyi
on 28/10/2022, 11:54:39 UTC
So what are your thoughts on this? Will Bitcoin Price regain its old glory soon?

Does Bitcoin lose its glory?  I do not think it losses anything except the price valuation during this bear market.  Bitcoin is still the same dominant cryptocurrency, and adoption and popularity are still propagating. Governments are taking notice and considering regulating it in preparation for possible adoption.  There is more and more country following the steps of El Salvador[1].  All in all I do not think Bitcoin losses anything except for the one I mentioned but we just need patience.  We all know that Bitcoin has the capability to rebound and recover, even breaking new series of ATH when  the bull market comes.
Exactly bitcoin doesn’t loose it glory, there must always be bear market for the bull market to occur. Bitcoin will regain it glory definitely. Analysis make us to understand that bitcoin will come back to it pace by 2024. Bitcoin will definitely recover it strength.

Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market?
by
jinmioluwaseyi
on 27/10/2022, 13:51:36 UTC
The importance provided to the bull market should also be given to the bear market. If the market doesn't have bear market, then we miss the opportunity to buy and experience the profit. No investment will have bull market alone and if you find something likewise, then it is complete manipulation and get out of such investment at the earliest.
you are right man both market are both important. Bear market allow us to buy while the bulk market allow us to sell. The cannot just be in a single trend .

Re: I made a mistake shorting BTC at 17k
by
jinmioluwaseyi
on 27/10/2022, 08:18:45 UTC
I made a huge mistake and i really refuse to buy BTC at now higher price.

Now market is pumping like crazy, its obvious we won't go back to 18k or below.

This doesn't make much sense to me, not to buy again if you are so sure that we won't go back to 18k. But I guess you haven't since you are not buying. :p Last time I made similar mistake was back in mid 2019 when I tried to be smart and "sell high buy low" and in the end I ended up doing the opposite thing, which made me realize that trading is not for me and I guess its not for you either so better stick to hodl if you don't have the stomach for it. Hahaha trading is not for everybody, and greediness affect most people in the trading world. The is to be patient and learn technical analysis if you want to venture into trading.

Having said that, I do think that there is a solid chance we go back to 18k, and below.

meaning we will never see $17K again (sorry Bitcoin to zero doomers).
Hah, many said that for 19k as well. And I don't think that those who think that there is a chance for bitcoin going below 18k automatically think its going to zero.
