No doubts, by 2030 Satoshi Nakamoto will be the richest person in the world. We will live in a very interesting world, by that time Bitcoin will cost $1000000 and 1 satoshi will be $1.  Cool

I have the possibility to buy a couple of these boards :
https://s9.postimg.org/3shm0nisv/mining_mobo.png
The only information known about this mobo :
mineraria Main Board, starall LGA 775 DDR3 8 PCIe SATA mineraria Mother board + 8pcs PCI-E Extender Riser card per BTC ETH Rig ethereum 8 GPU nero 1 x Hauptplatine

So it is based on the old socket 775. The question is : will nvOC work on this mobo, also will it see all 8 PCI-E ?

Good afternoon!

How in Linux to learn the manufacturer of memory for a video card?
I tried both i-nex and lspci -k | awk '/ VGA / {getline; print $ 2} '
It is issued like this:

NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]
Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. [MSI]
NVIDIA Corporation GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB]

Is there really a memory from Nvidia?
I hear it for the first time. Can anyone help?

try to use "lshw"

leenoox, excellent, you have green light from my side !!!!

One question : Does nvOC support server failover for Claymore's miner ??

Another question : Is it possible to find out somehow the exact steps which fullzero applied to transform the original ubuntu image into nvOC ?

papampi, I don't fully understand how this nvOC ubuntu image is made. The github page does not contain the image itself, just a bunch of bash scripts. Is there a bash script which builds the nvOC image based on a standard ubuntu image ?

Also how the development is organized ? If I want to make an improvement should I make a pull request to you ?

I have been holding Stellar ever since it came to the market. I am certain this coin is destined to go past .50 cents and possibly to $1-5 from year 2019. So keep trusting this coin and good things are coming!!

2019 or 2018 ?

Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again
by
jintruder
on 21/10/2017, 14:50:52 UTC
I don't understand why everyone so excited about this scam? Bitcoin Gold will not mimic Bitcoin Cash "success" aka Pump.
Bitcoin Cash had or has real money from Roger Ver and Jian Wu backing it up. This scam has absolutely nothing but a premine to dump on your heads.
People are dumping alts for something that is worth nothing, nada, zero. Grow up and take care.

Its because its GPU based (equihash) there are a lot of GPU only miners out there that are forced to mine the likes of etherium because they can not compete with the huge ASIC farms

This is completely different to the bitcoincash launch because it was competing with huge mining firms for SHA256 hashing power and had a huge backlash from the BTC crowd for this reason BTG seems to have a much more positive reception and if there is any value then you can guarantee there will be huge mining support

Exactly! I thought BTC gold is some kind of another shit coin or scam. But the idea that bitcoin mining is switched from ASIC into GPU is very powerful, I really like it. Only the time will show if the BTC gold team really support this idea or not.
