They are introducing certification for advertisers!! This is a stupid step. What expertise does google possess to vet advertisers? And what happens if one of these turn out to be a scam? People shouldnt start assuming that any ad shown by google is legit.

Last night, I saw a movie called Unfriended: Dark Web wherein one of the main characters stole a laptop, which he later found out that it is owned by a member of an anonymous group in a Dark Web. This member sent him bitcoins totaling to $10m to make him do terrible things, dragging his friends into this mess. This got me thinking, I know it is probably possible to use crypto for dark web, but if this is how it is going to be, don't you think that this will make bitcoins and other altcoins dangerous? Can a person really use cryptocurrency for Dark Web?
PS: I am not planning to use cryptocurrency for dark web, I am simply asking if it is indeed possible and its dangers.

Probably possible? Dude, have you been living under a rock? That was the primary use of Bitcoin a few years ago. Mainstream media used to give a big spin to this - Bitcoin was supposed to be the currency of the dark web and supposedly used only for buying drugs. We have come some distance from that, but dark web uses definitely constitute a significant portion of Bitcoin transactions.
I have been on this platform for about three months now. The platform has been educative and informative, and I feel at home here. However,some of just keep criticizing and making unnecessary posts like:
1. When will bitcoin die?
2. Bitcoin has no future.
3. Do not invest your money in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies...............just to name a few.
I think we, the users of cryptocurrencies should rather promote its activities for the betterment of the market. We can educate the general public, thanks to the availability and easy access to the media- both the electronic and the print.
Preach your successes and get people on board with your testimonies. Cryptocurrencies can be better that they are at the moment.
LET US STOP THE UNNECESSARY CRITICISMS.

Criticism is necessary and welcome, if it is constructive. Bitcoin has certainly evolved over the years and if you look at the technical discussions board, you will see that a lot of discussion and engagement with the community has happened there. Of course, on the other hand, there are trolls who only talk about the crashing price.

Dude, byteball is down versus BTC.
And since meterse deleted my comment from the ico thread I'll repeat it here: with daily volume of 8 BTC across all exchanges you couldn't run an ico for a lemonade stand. It's a joke to promote byteball as an alternative ico platform (whatever you think of ico offerings in general) when you can round down the trading volume to zero.
I am always against moderated threads. Byteball's volume definitely is low, but that can change. I wouldn't call that a disadvantage which would cripple the ecosystem.
Altcoins are not up against BTC. It is just Ripple which is up. That is the reason for the decrease in Bitcoin dominance.
Afghanistan played mind-blowing the last match, showed their batting and bowling capability. Now today with 257, it is possible to restrict PAK, but if there is no fall of a wicket, Pakistan may win this match as its 105 from 102 balls, not quite hard if they hold their wickets.
Today India won the match. Even in the absence of Kohli, Captain Rohit is guiding the team brilliantly, providing a good score from his side as well.

The match between Afghanistan and Pakistan really went down to the wire yesterday. With 10 runs required of the last over, it was anybody's game. But Pakistan prevailed in the end, primarily due to Malik's experience. He just needed 3 balls to get the required runs, with a six and a four to finish the match. Nobody should underestimate Afghanistan going forward.

The FATF probably has no clue about what they are talking about. They don't understand decentralization. You cannot have AML norms implemented for all cryptocurrencies. At best, you could have such regulations at centralized exchanges and payment processors. That really doesn't go the full distance.
Bangladesh have not started well in this match against India. After having being put in to bat, they have been reduced to 59/3 after 15 overs. Losing early wickets and having a run rate below 4 does not bode well. They have to play well to put up a competitive score against India. India will be high on confidence after having thrashed Pakistan.

Another thing occured to me from your comment. Tonych cannot control price that is true, but he can influence it. Perhaps having the opposite effect than he intended though, (due to aforementioned lack of basic economic principles.) But he can influence it. He controls a good 30-40% of the supply at the moment. Via airdrops (helicopter money) (central bank style tinkering) he does influence the price a lot. So far this has been to the downside which begs the question.. Does Tony prefer the price low for reasons at this time unknown Or does Tony want the price high but keep doing the wrong thing?
The distribution methods do influence the price. One thing which can be done is stop further dilution - no more Bytes to be distributed. He can set a floor (say $1000) beyond which GB will be sold in the open market, for the overall development of Byteball. This will prevent dumping of distributed Bytes at exchanges. It would also prevent the price from going beyond $1000 until all the Bytes are distributed, but existing holders shouldn't have any problems with that.
In my experience bitcoin cash is a fork of bitcoin even BCH is faster and cheaper to use due to larger blocks but still it'a seen that most of the people are using BTC than BCH so why is bitcoin doing better than bitcoin cash?
There are multiple forks of Bitcoin which create altcoins, but there is only one Bitcoin. The question of whether larger blocks are better than smaller blocks seems to have been settled for now - Bitcoin Cash only has a fraction of the market capitalization of Bitcoin. Until scalability becomes an issue again, do not expect Bitcoin Cash to increase in value.
Crypto is a bit complex for a lay person to easily understand. You can make it difficult depending on how you approach the concepts. The best way is by assessing the prior knowledge of the individuals that you are dealing with. After you have explored their knowledge, the next thing to do is to explain the basis of blockchain technology and why it was introduced, after which you can explain how and why bitcoin or any other crypto was created.
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand how the blockchain and cryptocurrencies work. You also don't need to understand the inner workings of cryptocurrencies to use them. My grandma has no clue about how the internet works, but she is a pro at sending emails and using facebook. The same applies to cryptocurrencies as well.

The market depth does look bad. But why all this negativity? You might have lost some money, but does it warrant asking people to sell byteball through your signature?
People who have invested in most other altcoins have also lost money....
Afghanistan doing really extra ordinary work as they outclass Bangladesh and now tomorrow going to play against struggling Pakistan look like they can overcome and will face India in Grand Finale because they are completely good package and have ability to outclass Pakistan as they done against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in other match India going to face Bangladesh its could be very easy for India as they clearly now in touch and can handle them very easily.
Afghanistan are proving to be a very strong and improving team. Looking at them beat Bangladesh, they have proven that they deserve a place in the next stage. Pakistan should be wary of this team, especially if their spinners get going. Pakistan must be low on confidence, having lost to India in the group stage.
India just managed to reach 285/7 in 50 overs against HK. This is not a good score considering it is HK atleast they should have made 325+ runs if they have to beat the best of the teams. Also HK is 139/0 and India team has not even manage to pick up a single wicket in 30 overs till now.
285/7 is a par score against Associate nations, but you would expect these scores to be easily defended. The first wicket partnership really scared India, but once India got the Hong Kong openers out, HK was under pressure. Even though this is a second string Indian side, I expected them to thrash HK. That didn't happen, with India winning by only 26 runs.

That is a pretty good idea. We don't need blackbytes to become worthless because of flawed distribution methods.
A signature campaign would generate some buzz. It won't be comparable to airdrops, but it will be effective publicity never the less.
My friend decided to sell his car and invest all the money in Bitcoin as some people predict that 1 BTC will reach 500 000$ till the end of 2019.

Now there is no need to work anymore? How is he going to pay for food and his bills now?
If he sells his car to invest in Bitcoin, but then takes the bus to work, that is fine. He is just sacrificing a little bit of comfort to invest in something he believes in. Whether or not Bitcoin really succeeds, your friend wouldn't have lost anything.
I really give Afghanistan a high chance at winning this match later today against Sri Lanka. I might even bet a small amount of money on them to win as they are the underdogs to win this match but with the form Sri Lanka are in at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised to see Afghanistan win.

We are just a few weeks away from removing their abilities anymore.
And it couldn't have happened at a better time. The market manipulators have been busy dumping their altcoin reserves.
They should be close to running out of Bay.
The dynamic peg will regulate them no matter what happens.
But the idea that we will soon have a dynamic peg in place, while the market manipulators are nearly out of Bay coins, it is going to make the peg release that much better!

The timing is really good. The peg will protect value, although the entire value cannot be realized in one go.
This will go a long way in differentiating Bitbay from other altcoins. Market manipulators will know that it is in their best interest to leave this coin alone.

The only way fiat is going to die is when the population will lose faith in it and the government will fail. Even hyperinflation like the one currently happening in Venezuela is not enough to kill fiat, many other countries have had it at some point of their history, and they've usually solved it by rebooting their currency. Too many people are dependent on it - people employed by the government, people who pay taxes and so on. I don't believe in Bitcoin revolution, Bitcoin will just keep coexisting with fiat and will have a relatively small userbase consisting of people who value its properties.
People don't lose faith in fiat, because the government uses its muscle to ensure that they continue using it. Long before Bitcoin, there have been ways for people to stop using fiat - they could have used gold instead. But even in countries with hyperinflation, the government machinery has ensured that fiat continues to be used.
