Please stop posting FUD about CoinEx, we will issue an announcement within next 24hrs about how we are going to handle the situation.
Long story short: yes, our wallet server got hacked and all funds were withdrawn.
Please read back to the beginning of this thread, we had such a problem before and *returned all the stolen funds from our own pockets*. Before this hack happened, we also had several attacks that lost funds and we silently covered those from our fees.
For those who was stalking me at internets: thats true, i was trying to hide/delete my accounts. At the very first moment i saw zero balance at our bitcoin wallet i knew this was coming. And it scared the shit out of me. Hope you can understand that. About me selling bitcoins at localbitcoins.com: thats true too. I have 33mh/s scrypt gpu mining farm, I have >50% of coinex fees + I get % from cryptostocks share sells. Nothing criminal here again.
So again, please calm down. We are not doing a runner.
The only way i can see to restore this is to sell more shares at cryptostocks to cover the losses *and to hire a professional security audit team to prevent this from happening again*. Long story short, we're covering this from our own pockets again.
Thanks - erundook
I really wonder whats wrong with some people. Imagine running a jewelry store or money exchange without insurance, beeing robbed several times, waiting for the final blow before thinking about security. There are no words to describe this way of working.
It is quite obvious that you are not capable of running a business like this. No one should support this and give the owner new confidence over and over. This wont work.
I think the problem is these operators "think" they have it secure but quickly realize how difficult it is when you are 1 against 1000s of hackers. Banks and credit cards get "hacked" all the time and they "think" they have it secure. I had about 2 BTC in coinex so I feel the pain. But it was my own fault for not withdrawing my money and putting it somewhere safe ( ie: paper wallet ). Sure, I "thought" it was safe but given all the news as of late you just can't trust that exchanges are a safe place to hold your coins. It will get safer but this isn't the last time we will see a relatively major player in the crypto-world get hacked. It sounds like he is going to learn a very expensive lesson but is trying to do the right thing. I'm going to cut him some slack. What everyone else does is up to them. I'm trying to put myself in his shoes and that is so scary I can't even imagine.
It's simple, you just comment on the post talking about the giveaway with your LTC address. If you share on your FB you get an extra chance to win. Yesterday they gave out some free LTC so LIKE the page so you get notified when they do those daily giveaways ( the daily was only for .1 but hey, its free )
You are partly right. But there is nothing worse than a premine.
So tired if this statement. Ppl think devs should make coins for free so u can mine it and make money. Plus the AMC devs ain't said shit. So far all I've read is them trying to pay off BTCe to get it on the exchange with premined AMC. If you don't want to mine it them fine...move on. It's old news. Yes we know it was premined some. I wouldn't call 650k a big premine. Hell there are ppl mining AMC right now that are getting 30000 a day.

Re: [ANN] AMERICAN COIN - AMC - Now About To Start - pool available already..
Sorry for the downtime on http://amc.scryptmining.com , we had to change servers for the mining box. You can grab the new stratum host from the homepage, for those just checking here though:
stratum+tcp://5.135.161.23:8860
Nothing should be missing or out of the ordinary in relation to the downtime. If anything seems out of order just let me know!
The webpage stayed up throughout the outage.
Thanks!
Nice work!

I think this being added is in direct response to the AMC community requesting it.
If you are an AMC coin holder/miner please help us fellow miners by:
1. Visit http://amccoin.com/resources.html 2. Click on the exchange(s) you'd like to see AMC added to. 3. Then click the "Tell" button that shows up and it auto-formats an email to that exchange.
If we flood them with requests they can't ignore us!
It only took me about 60 seconds to do it.

Re: [ANN] AMERICAN COIN - AMC - Now About To Start - pool available already..
Possibility of being listed on btc-e was posted on the AMC website for a few hours during the first or second day after initial coin announce, can't remember exactly. It was pretty quickly deleted. Now you guys need to click here and help the dev out if you want this coin to go anywhere. Guess 30 BTC falls below the current bribe asking price...
