That is impressive!!

PASC seems to have a very strong and capable network.

Excited to see the new innovations being brought by v2 in the coming weeks.

I'm hearing whispers of v3 already - this coin will be orbital.

99% of PASC network is controlled by Nanopool Grin People started to notice that lol  Grin

As usual, you are incorrect. It is about 30/70 right now.

The community is working out the details with a dev to open source a mining pool. More details will come soon.

Price keeps great! Weak hands are almost gone Wink and Janusz will wait till dead for 2000sat.

December brings new releases, it will be huge month for PASC.

If the devs keep working hard and release the new wallet in Dec, it WILL be a great month!

Thank you everyone for the initiative put into this coin. It is not an ICO nor premined, so community involvement is important.

Pascal is written in Pascal programming language. I am wonder that such serious project could be written in Pascal

This is an extremely serious project. Check out the development channel on Discord.

No doubts  that Pascal is an extremely serious project, It is really written from scratch with it unique idea. But why Pascal lang had been chosen for it?

Albert indeed wrote everything from scratch. I don't know much about the language, but I believe it is "cross-compilable". Code it once, compile in Linux and Windows. It's a very smart idea. Pascal code also runs extremely fast.

Nice USD gains over the past few days. PASC is staying strong with the BTC rise.

Could someone please point me to the CURRENT method for solo mining.  None of the advice given has been recent , and looking up pascalproxy2 did not help.  There is only dated information out there.  Please post some links to a recent way to solo mine this damn coin.  I am using SGMiner and mining to a pool but have enough hash to do it my self.

here is a link to download pascalproxyv2 with a readme.txt on how to use. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zmzj9ujgyzs0jvq/AACYjjtEywCM1GW-3kcdebtna?dl=0

========================================================================================================================================

Quoted:
theoretical you can solo mine, but it will take very very long time looooooooooong time before you mine a block. So don't try.

Comment:
So I have a wallet with some private keys generated. How do I know which account #'s are mine? I pool mine and send to Poloniex and  I want to send from Poloniex to my own wallet account. How does one do that?

Quote:
If you have Pasc on poloniex,  you can send a few pasc to pascwallet (https://www.pascwallet.com/Market/Purchase) or getpasa (http://getpasa.com/) to buy a pasa (pasc account). A pasa associates with a public key. Then you can withdraw other pasc to your local account, and you can pool mine and send direct to your local account. While pool mine, you should not only get psac, but also pasa (every pasa for twenty pasc).
==========================================================================================================================================

New Question:
Thank you.  I do have a lot of hash power though, a number of machines with 6-8 video cards each.  Couldn't I solo mine to generate my own accounts, and is there instructions on how to do that somewhere?  I think the references I find on youtube and elsewhere are outdated and use the old pascalminer that used to be released with the wallet.
[/quote]

You can have multiple key pairs in your wallet, but that doesn't mean you have an account. You must obtain an account through the various ways mentioned here. PASA (accounts) are not generated in the wallet. To have an account (PASA), one of your private keys must be associated to it. That's what makes PASC so special. You don't need to know your long address key, just your easy to remember PASA, like 1234-56.

The ability to use easy to remember accounts linked to key pairs keeps the blockchain lean and mean, no bloat like all the other coins. This combined with instant 0-conf transactions leads to infinite scaling. I eventually see being able to run a full node on mobile with advanced features never seen before in the blockchain space.

For solo mining, look into pascalproxyv2.

https://www.pascwallet.com is frustrating.  I tried registering and it does not register me (invalid login).  I used Safari and Chrome and Edge browsers.   But some how after some time, login started working.
I tried searching for solo mine instructions, none worked.
This is what I am doing now to get an account:
   1) goto pascwallet.com and create an account.  (cross your fingers that it is smooth)
   2) login and click on deposit to obtain the account number and payload number
   3) goto nanopool and get instructions on how to mine pascal coin
   4) point your nanopool miner to mine to the account and payload noted in step 2, note don't use your user name as payload
   5) once your funds are in pascwallet.com, buy your account there.

Hopes this helps others.

Sorry to hear you had issues. Over 1k users, and none reported such issues.

One thing to note is that the login is case sensitive. The login name and password are stored as SHA-3 hashes, so casing matters.

If you are a miner and want to obtain a PASA fast (depending on your mining hardware), you can mine to the pascwallet.com account (293417-85) and set your payload as your pascwallet hex username (obtained once you created a pascwallet account and click the Deposit link button). Once you mine 1 PASC and send it to pascwallet, you can buy a PASA for approx 1 PASC.

websie "pascwallet.com" is not functional, at least not with my browser, i can get there, reg an account but can never login.

I give up on this coin. You all get free pasa for mining, and what , giving one away is too much  for anyone or even a dev, whom i also asked.
Forget it, i would not want you go bankrupt over a possible earning of $0.54c, which soon you may not ever get if devs give away free pasa.
Personally i dont care anymore....This coin can go to hell.

Adios!

pascwallet works well.   https://www.pascwallet.com/Market/Purchase

Thanks for that validation.

just try to communicate and ull receive free pasa Wink

Ive asked for an account in another thread here and on slack, also tried the slackbot, and pascmarket, even offered to pay directly, for one, but no-one wants to sell any.
I did have 3 accounts, but my password file got corrupted, so all my key with accounts are locked as with the coins.

If anyone can please help me my PK is: 3GhhbouBU9EZxc1ybsfsdGKAfeTZ8dLAnBLFE8TSussCFAicHGtr8dHcyLbPS6DX79taTsguWU8ZFsn zX5sqjcLMoUnwPvqpFW5QkC

I still believe the obtaining an account is handicapping the coin. Imo devs should address this.

I believe the devs are addressing this in the next wallet version. Some sort of way to dispense a PASA to someone maybe based on their IP or email address. Not sure of the mechanism.
