Wow, looking back on this thread seems things actually fared quite well. Don't know what Feathercoin and Unitas have been up to but the other three have done real well, especially ETC with its upcoming coinbase listing.

How can you take anything serious from someone saying this "ETC will eventually switch places with ETH, which is determined to long and painful death for
what they've done."
When such comments begin to appear, especially from Goldman Sachs it's worth considering the opening long positions.

Trying to decide between the EVGA SC2 and ZOTAC AMP Edition. Others are either 2.5 slots or more than 300mm which won't fit in my case.
I have both and the Zotac AMP runs hotter at 70tdp than the EVGA at 90tdp so I would go with the EVGA.Zotac AMP Extreme runs at max while silent and cool , go figure
It seems to me that most of the ethereum price increase is fuelled by a combination of promotion by big money and people who are not really 'believers' hoping to get rich quick on the next bitcoin.
As most of us more seasoned folks in the cryptocurrency space know, the real value of a coin/token is the community that uses it. It seems to me like a disproportionately high percentage of the ethereum community is get rich quickers who tout the advantages of smart contracts, but I have yet to have someone convince me that smart contracts are all they are cracked up to be.
My theory is that any cryptocurrency is vulnerable to the extent that its community is made up of 'get rich quickers'. For example, the bitcoin value base was built by people who really believed in it and would have continued to work with it at any price level. I sense this exists with the ethereum community as well, but my feeling is that this group is much smallet with ethereum, and that big money is seizing on it as an opportunity to pump up the value and capture cryptos potential for profit, since apparently some think it is too late to be an early adopter in bitcoin.
I could be totally wrong, and hopefully if so someone would be able to explain why.

I was happy today as a cryptocurrency analyst seeing Ethereum become second largest crytocurrency in volume and price. Today Ethereum hit $300 and that is a sign that before the end of October we may be seeing eth trade over $500. Congrats to all investors.

Does Bancor have a limited supply? does it have inflation? We need this data to try to predict how high it could go, also to know what % of the supply will be held by mostly whales (since I predict it will be impossible to buy any coins at the ICO unless you are a whale)

AND WAIT FEW YEARS AND YOU WILL EARN A LOT OF MONEY AFTER THAT. YOU CAN DO RESEARCH SO YOU CAN KNOW THE POTENTIAL OF ETC COIN. BUT FOR ME I THINK ITS BETTER IF YOU BUY ETHEREUM BECAUS ETHIS ALTCOIN IS VERY PROMISING COIN THAT GIVE YOU HIGH PROFIT IN THE FUTURE.
