Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

Have 4GB Cards Gone Obsolete with ETH mining?
by
joerazor
on 21/02/2021, 21:23:01 UTC
I had some cards laying around since the 2016 mining frenzy, and decided to recently build back my rigs on SMOS.

I noticed though that all my 4GB cards are hashing at 8mh/s while my 8GB cards are hashing at their normal ~30MH/s speed

Is there any way to increase the mining speed for those 4gb cards? They are pretty useless at those speeds, especially their power draw is the same as when they were hashing at ~28

Would appreciate any help in getting those 4GB cards to hash some profits with better hashrate.

Running Phoenix Miner v5.5 (Tried previous Phoenix versions as well)

I made an Ethereum Deposit to my KELTA account and it never showed up. More than 24 hours have passed and still nothing.

I asked on Telegram, and they told me to email support. I emailed support, 5 days passed and never heard back!!

Now after I entered Telegram again, I see that I was banned from posting messages.

This looks like a scam!! BEWARE

Do you see BTC doing a 10x next year? ie: Reaching $46,000 ??
Do you see GNT doing a 10x next year? ie: Reaching $2.00 ??

If your answer is no to BTC and yes to GNT. Then just HOLD and don't even worry about the price fluctuations!

GNT has a solid team and it's current price is based on an unreleased product. The final BRASS version is supposed to release anywhere from the next 2-5 months!

No need to panic! I am not saying that this is the end of the dump... GNT could go even more down to 16 cents but I wouldn't care less!

Last year I have mined around 500,000 ESP1 (Before the hardfork)

Today while I was checking, I found that ESP1 holds no significant value and I am wondering if I can claim any ESP2 from the ESP1 I am currently holding.

I am under the impression that when hardforks happen, I would be holding both coins... But not sure what I should do to get my ESP2

Looking for help on this.

Thanks (Will offer a donation for any help)

AMD Drivers autoupdating and crashing my rigs
by
joerazor
on 22/05/2017, 12:52:13 UTC
I am having a terrible issue with AMD Drivers autoupdating and crashing my rig.

I have AMD Drivers v 16.11.5 installed (Also tried 16.9.2) for my 480 cards.... Rigs work fine for a couple of hours, then BAM... Drivers get automatically updated to the latest RELIVE AMD v17.1 which crashes my rig.

I have the "UPDATE" checkbox unchecked after installing my 16.11.5 or 16.9.2 drivers but it still updates.

Anyone able to fix this issue? Driving me crazy. Need to have updates OFF!

GNT $0.40-$0.50 by end of May and $1.00 by end of 2017!!

People that are fudding and saying GNT is a scam surprise me. GNT is the most powerful ICO and has the best devs working on it.

I remember fudders that were shit-talking about Ethereum when it was still under $1.00 and calling it a scam.. Funny people indeed, and this will never end.

Cheers and good luck.

Re: Why I am sure GOLEM (GNT) is the best investment!
by

Last month I recommended everyone to buy GNT at 4 cents...
Today GNT is at 16cents

Congratulations to anyone who followed my advice and quadrupled his investment in one month.

Is it too late to buy? Definitely not.. Another 2x-4x expected by mid-june. Good luck!

You are very ambitious. GNT was less than 2k satoshi a few months ago and it is now over 12k satoshi. I think it has further room to run before dropping but I feel it is expensive to buy it now. I would prefer to wait for GNT to drop below 10k satoshi before buying.

Yes, there is a chance we see a correction to 10k satoshi, but the insane volume shows an incoming spike is imminent!

Once GNT hits $1.00 .... Everyone will regret not buying at 16 cents, let alone 2 cents.

Good luck

My Crown Wallet is syncing very slowly.. 10-30 blocks per minute

Is there any way to make it sync faster? It would literally take 2-3 weeks to sync at that pace.

And a big money project like Pixar will want decentralsition because?.............

As we Libertarian Anarchists run toward decentralization you must understand many are running away from it who want control.
What about storj?   Huh Sent they doing something similar? Also how realizable will golem be in providing service as its decentralized. Why would big companies use it over private companies providing the same service?

Because money talks!! In that case, if Pixar has an option to render/release their film in a month rather than 2 years, then they will probably take the faster and probably cheaper option.

Besides, they will not need to buy/upgrade their equipment, rent more space, pay for electricity as unlimited rendering potential is going to be just a few clicks away.

Ashapasa: Storj is a decentralized storage solution, not for rendering/computation.

Aren't there already projects that pool computing resources that we used to map DNA molecules or some such shit.

Decentralized project on a blockchain? Don't think so!

Why I am sure GOLEM (GNT) is the best investment!
by

I really think GNT (Golem) is the next coin to multiply in value by 50 or even 100 by the end of the year and has the potential to multiply by 1,000-10,000 within the next couple of years which makes it the best investment opportunity. Here is why:

For those of you that don't know what GNT (Golem) is, it is basically focusing on building a global, open sourced, decentralized supercomputer that anyone can access for rendering projects (Can be adopted by Universal, Pixar, Disney) and in future development phases Golem will be working on protein synthesis and DNA folding (Can be used by the biggest pharmaceutical companies to develop new medicine). As the devs call it; this is the airbnb of computing power.

Now why do I see this as a very promising investment opportunity?

There will only be 1,000,000,000 GNT in circulation and the current token price is around 4 cents. (Was 1 cent during crowd-sale a couple of months ago)

Unlike most cryptocurrencies out there, GNT actually has a good use and has the highest change for wide adoption.

If you read the following article: https://venturebeat.com/2013/04/24/the-making-of-pixars-latest-technological-marvel-monsters-university/

You will see that Pixar's "Monster Inc." required 100 million CPU hours to render the film in its final form and that took them a few years to fully render.

With that in mind, GNT has the potential to grow to a multi-billion dollar capacity very soon.

Currently the GNT cap is $36Million, and each token is worth $0.04
Assuming GNT growing to a cap of $1Billion, then each token price will be worth $1.24
At a $10Billion cap, each token will be $12.4

These are just my 2 cents.

Am I trying to pump GNT? Hell no!
Am I holding GNT? Hell yes!

Good luck! Smiley

Re: HUUUGE CRASH COMING
by

I agree that BTC will be very bearish in the coming days and will probably consolidate at around $700-800

But I disagree on the fact that altcoins would drop. In fact, I see some altcoins being pumped due to money coming to them!

Altcoins are stronger than before and some of them are currently strong enough to be independent regardless of what happens to BTC.

If BTC does not implement segwit, I suspect another coin to dominate the cryptoworld in the coming years. BTC fees are very high, with a slow and congested network that cannot survive, especially incredible technologies that some alts have.
