Re: How safe is our money in crypto?
by
joey alexander
on 19/10/2018, 07:07:34 UTC
Investing in cryptocurrencies is risky as prices have been extremely volatile and there are no firm regulations governing them at the moment. Further, experts are skeptical about such investments primarily because there is nothing for them to analyse.

Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest?
by

Don’t you wish you can go back to February 14, 2011 and buy a thousand Bitcoins for the price of $1,000? Then wait around until November 25th, 2013 to sell all of them and make a million dollars! Yes we all do. Unfortunately we can’t go back, but what you can do; is make a new smart investment. Always remember something; every currency in the world has a country connected to it (even though cryptocurrencies aren’t officially currencies yet). The population of each country and the economical state matters and go hand in hand. Although, a cryptocurrency doesn’t have a country. It has the internet. Adding all the currencies in the world into one. Expect to see over 3 billion people use cryptocurrencies, because over 3 billion people use the internet every day. so it is better to invest in good coins.

I Never used hitbitc but have had relatively decent luck with yobit. I think its a bad idea in general to trust any exchange with anything more than a few dollars.

We now see that all of the overbuying and inflation and manipulation that tried to take advantage of the bull run are now being drawn out and corrected....We are now seeing a big correction due to all the excess fat being trimmed...Making way for a more considered investor, and more steady gains through the market as a whole.

Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible?
by

Some holders of Bitcoin have seen a 4000% increase on their investment over the last two years. Some investors don't see why the trend won't continue with predictions of another 3000% increase over the next four years. This means that by the end of the year it could see a $25,000 price point and by 2022 your bitcoin could be worth upwards of $250,000.

Cryptocurrency is the future I reckon. Can't duplicate money and it's decentralized than oppose to FIAT corrupted money controlled by the government.

Re: Future of crypto is good or bad?

It will be good. One of Bitcoins main strengths is that you cannot sell a Bitcoin you do not own, there is a limited supply and once the final Bitcoin is mined there will never be another one. Unlike our fiat monetary policy where the central banks of the world can turn on their printing presses and print currency out of thin air with no limits of quantity.

Hodl as long as you want, but swing trading is still much a part of me. It is fun. One thing in this game is that, I don't how to regret my trading decisions. What's done is done. But then, long term hodling is one of investment options.

All I can suggest is that Nobody has ever lost money from taking profits. But if you are in it for the long haul there is no point in watching the markets. You should believe in your own judgment of your investment.

Many coins have a pattern, and can be easy to detect which way it will go. However, nothing is certain and I am not kidding when speaking about its high volatility. One bad article can cause a heavy dip, and it doesn't even have to be from a legitimate source. Someone posted on 4Chan that Vitalik died in a car crash, and people panic sold which caused the price to drop. This is why you don't believe everything you see or hear, so do your research.

Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam?

It is prudent to begin by analyzing the white paper as it is undoubtedly the most vital document of an ICO as well as the product presentation that the authors suggest. Carefully analyze the facts and if a project’s geography is some distance away from where you are then it is not advisable to make such an investment.

We might already feel bad about the value of altcoins but it could just get worse in case of an upcoming correction. Well of course only for those projects that don't even have a legitimate use case at all.

I think even bigger than use as currencies is the need for utility tokens. A lot of use cases blockchain offers require an altcoin for consensus.

trading is good. But This may be another obvious one but too many people invest there whole life savings and expecting to double there money. THIS IS NOT HOW TRADING WORKS! Trading anything can't be predicted. Even the best traders in the world can predict the market. Too many people go into trading trying to time the market. Don't time the market... you will fail.
