It depends on what we call the scam. Perhaps 80% is even too optimistic estimate
The project developers don't know how to do any coding nowadays, that is why their projects fail. They can't just outsource while expecting their project to work.
Use Ledger nano with My ETher wallet. You can search how to use Ledger nano on internet, it is easy to use.
I don't use a Hardware wallet because there could be a problem with the inner components. There is nothing you can do with the hardware wallet unless you know how to take it apart and rebuild it.
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice
If you want more profit in the future then it is best to hold. Now that bitcoin prices and all altcoin are very low, if you sell you will suffer losses, instead you should buy more. I believe that at the end of this year bitcoin will rebound and reach high prices, I hope that the end of this year Bitcoin will reach $ 30,000
There's a price difference between Bitcoin and the other coins, you have to sell the altcoins that you have if Bitcoin pumps up to that price.
The price is very low now. But some traders say that ETH has not reached the bottom yet. It really frightens me. I hope that people will not lose faith in this project.
The price was very low a while ago though the price should be much higher in a few years if it's around.

Re: What you have learnt from Bitcoin and altcoin?
Good question! A simple answer will not work. The number of new altcoins is likely to decrease in the near future. The people will become more legible and the scams will be less.
Although there is a lot of scams in this forum it's getting easier to notice what coins have potential and what coin doesn't. You have to use your due diligence on your investments.
If I was going to invest in bitcoin, then I would wait until the end of 2018 at least. I think that this year we will see bitcoin at a price of about 3000-4000 dollars.
I will purchase more Bitcoin if it ever gets down to that price. I am looking forward to it being that low.
i think we need to wait atleast end of this year to see all the growing of cryptocurrency, this is the hard time now but your are not in lost if you not sold your coins. Good luck for everybody.
It's a hit or miss. There could be a pump on the coin that you are in though that doesn't always happen.

This project looks kind of fun to invest/participate in. Will this coin be used in stores?
My perception about this is that whoever think that there are tooo many participant on bounty should participate in those with less participants. I have noticed a trend, when it comes to bounty campaign. Social media like Twitter, Facebook and Telegram campaigns are most times flooded with participants, while campaigns like signature, blog, translation or some others usually have less participants. I usually prefer to go for signature.
It shouldn't matter if there is a lot of participants. If you don't a coin to have a lot of people participating in it then you are just selfish.
I have some experience and my experience says to me that airdrops in 85% are scam or usseles waste of my time. But hope(in profit) dies last one, yeap?)
I don't like to invest in a scam. It is easy to make money on a scam though in the end it is not worth doing.
I use both regularly and wallet more, most especially for new investment. If product gets active you put a little on exchange just to take some profit.
Both is a nice option to have. The safest method to storing the money is if you have an offline wallet.
Ripple is good cryptocurrency but i think that it's not our future. People want to be free from comercials adn other stuff so choosing bitcoin and ethereum mostly.
A lot of people would want to use Bitcoin not Ripple because Ripple is already a centralized system. Banks don't care so they just get involved wherever the money is at.
Yes, I once bought and sold coins directly using conventional money. The most often I do is buy coins that do not have a market after the coins are distributed. Of course coins can we get from people who need money suddenly.
I try not to sell the coins that fast because the price could get much better than what it appears. Bitcoin is a common proof of that.
